Miljet national park is lovely.
There are two brackish lakes with a flat path around them where you can walk or ride a bike under the trees. There are many mountain biking and hiking routes going up through the tree-covered hills above the lakes. The lakes were great for swimming. They are very salty, so floating is very easy. The two lakes are joined by a canal. Water moves between them, changing direction with the tide at the end of one lake. It was a really fun swim/swoosh through the canal connecting the lakes. And quite safe if you are a good swimmer.
