Complete rip-off
by Tim Weaver

Saw their constant ads on TV and decided to try them because I'm in a wheelchair and it's hard to clean my apartment by myself. For the kitchen, I said, "All I want done is the sink, microwave and floor cleaned." She spent 2 hours washing my dishes, that were already clean, and never touched my dirty microwave. Didn't touch the inside of my fridge (even though she reached inside and grabbed a pop so she had to see it needed some wiping. Their website mentions wiping down the inside of the fridge). Didn't have to vacuum because I did that before she came over here.  Didn't have to clean my stove as I got a brand new one just that morning.  Didn't have to spend time dusting anything in the bedroom or living room as I told her not to worry about it.   What I'm most upset about, though, is I told her my main priority was my bathroom as it's next to impossible for me to clean from my wheelchair.  The bathtub walls still had some soap scum on them and the soap holder attached to the wall wasn't even touched and had gunk all over it. The one thing I can do myself is my dishes.  I did not pay someone to come over and do that.  I paid for someone to come over and clean the stuff that I can't, especially my bathroom and microwave, yet she spent a ton of time cleaning my already clean dishes instead when I told her not to worry about them. I even tipped her $20 when she left before checking if she actually did what I asked because I just assumed she did. To make this 10,000 times worse, when I left my review on Google, I noticed lots of people report about getting scammed. Guess I should have read those first. Lots of people said they were automatically signed up for a membership and if they tried to cancel it, got hit with a $200 fee. They charged my card another $49 the day after my “cleaning.” I want to know how/why the owner of this place isn't in jail and the company isn't shut down...especially since they are doing this all over the country. I reached out to the company 10 times about this but never got a reply.

If I could give them a negative score
by Linda

If I could give them a negative score, I would. I'd classify them as high-order scammers, using bait and switch tactics to trick good people out of their money. What's truly infuriating is that you don't find out about the membership fee, a whopping $49 a month, until AFTER you've purchased a reduced-cost voucher. To make matters worse, you might end up with a cleaner who's beyond awful, and you wouldn't even trust them to come back and do the job properly. This cleaner barely paid attention to the time, shorted me by over 4 hours, and did the absolute minimum in my house. When I complained to Homeaglow, their response was basically to tell me to take it up with the cleaner. That's a big "no." I even gave them a chance to make it up, and the new cleaner changed the time and date within two days of the assignment. We got close to a new date, and she wants to change it again? Nope. We're done. And to top it all off, when you try to cancel on their site, you can only click a box saying you agree to pay $299 for the value of what you were provided. But I wasn't provided ANYTHING of any value, so that's another big "no." The California State Attorney General is pursuing a class action lawsuit, and their BBB rating is a sad 1! So, do yourself a favor and stay far, far away.

After perusing some of the reviews
by Debra S

After perusing some of the reviews, all I can say is, wow, there seem to be quite a bunch of entitled, privileged, and, dare I say, ignorant people out there. Did some honestly expect a house cleaning for a mere $19??? And for those who complain about the $49 monthly fee, oh my goodness, that's still way cheaper than what I've paid other cleaners in the past. It's usually more than that per hour!!!! Clearly, some people might not have a clue about the cost and effort that goes into cleaning a house. Like someone else aptly said, "You get what you deserve."

This company's "ForeverClean" membership
by Wesley Alexander

This company's "ForeverClean" membership has been a disappointment. Despite a month-long subscription, securing a cleaner proved challenging. Enduring frequent last-minute cancellations, cleaners attempting off-app negotiations, and a charged no-show for an uncompleted job left me frustrated. The constant reassignment of cleaners, totaling six times, meant I never met any of them. Taking time off work in anticipation of meeting cleaners turned out to be a futile effort due to the persistent cancellations.

Adriana did a great job.
by Nicole

Adriana did a great job. She was easy to talk to even though we had a language gap. She was very professional, asked about my needs, and made sure she met them. She checked her work before leaving to ensure I was happy with it. I didn’t give a 5-star rating because I thought all cleaning supplies would be supplied, but I had to provide paper towels and trash bags myself. Still, the service was very good.

Tracy did a great job!
by Ashalee Fernandez

Tracy did a great job! She’s very detail oriented, quick, and thorough. She’s also very friendly and nice. I liked that she didn’t just dust things off, she actually cleaned everything from top to bottom! Our downstairs space feels so fresh and clean! After trying several cleaners, we’re glad to have found Tracy and we’ve arranged a regular schedule with her!!

After an unexpected water leak messed up
by Sophia Alvarez

After an unexpected water leak messed up our floors and walls right before our daughter’s first birthday, our house was a real mess. Taryn showed up right on schedule and did an excellent job fixing every room. By the time she left, the place looked great, and we felt much more relaxed. We’re planning to book her again after the party! Highly recommend!

The company has been a bit of a
by Anonymous

The company has been a bit of a challenge for us. Our cleaner is consistently tardy, sometimes by several hours, and there's a complete lack of communication from the company regarding delays. It's only when the cleaner finally shows up that things go smoothly. However, this inconsistency makes me uneasy about relying on them for special occasions.

I work fer HomeAglow and would just love
by berghorn

I work fer HomeAglow and would just love t'file a lawsuit fer loss of tips due t'th'company charging me t'transfer my tips to me bank account. Bein' falsely charged refund costs from jobs that I 'ave actually cleaned. Bein' paid properly from this company is a joke. I work 'ard and do good work fer me clients and am not paid fairly at all.

I've been waiting a week for cleaners to reply.
by Jeff

I've been waiting a week for cleaners to reply. They took my money but can't find someone to clean. Last time, the cleaner was only there 90 minutes instead of 4 hours. She didn't clean half of what I asked, yet I was still charged for 4 hours plus a $12 fee. This company is a total scam. Avoid them. If there's a lawsuit, count me in.

Warning! It’s a trap!!
by Anonymous

Warning ‼️ They aré getting us into trap 🪤 They are offering first service for 19$ and $49 for the next 6 months !!! Which is $294. And cleaning is separate!! If you want to cancel it you need to pay $144. $19+$49+$144=$212 for the cleaning!!! Please share it with your friends so they will not able to trick them!!!

Raysa did a great job!
by Jacqueline Dinh

Raysa did a great job! She was the third cleaner I’ve hired through Homeaglow and clearly the best. She was very detailed, even cleaning inside the oven and under the barstool legs during a regular clean. She also worked the whole time she was scheduled for, which was nice (the others didn’t do that).

Alise was great.
by Barbara

Alise was great. She and Whitney, a trainee, were really nice and made our first time with a house cleaner easy. Our home looks fantastic, and I'd love to have Alise return. She's pleasant, skilled, and puts effort into her work. Thanks to Alise and Whitney for making it all nice.

Total Scam
by Lauren Wade

Don’t fall for their propaganda! They lure you in with their special of 19.99, but when it is all said and done, you end up paying $150.00. And even when you cancel the service they keep billing you $50 every month. Don’t be fooled like I was. Total bait and switch!

This company has a lot of problems.
by Dean

This company has a lot of problems. I've been signed up for five months and only had three cleanings. The last one was rescheduled last minute, costing me extra money. They've cancelled on me over 10 times and won't give refunds, only credit.

Did a great job cleaning my home. Was very detailed and made sure to know my exact needs. She was clear in her communication before the visit and I knew what to expect! My children were home and she was kind and patient!!

AI is the sole customer support.
by Marshall

AI is the sole customer support. They should employ a few humans to tackle concerns. Cleaners seem inexperienced; it's more of a side gig for them. After 4 appointments (2 no-shows), I canceled despite an extra $198 fee.

Cedric was truly great! He took initiative, asked for clarifications when necessary, and was flexible with minor adjustments. We will definitely work with Cedric again.

by Kathy

Solid effort overall, but could improve time management instead of focusing on less important tasks like overly thorough dusting.
