    I can’t believe how frustrating

I can’t believe how frustrating this experience has been. My flight was delayed, and it wasn’t just a little delay—it kept getting pushed back with no clear updates or explanation. I was stuck waiting around with nothing to do and no refreshments or snacks offered to make the wait a bit easier. It felt like nobody cared about the passengers or their time, just leaving us hanging. I get it, things happen, but this was too much. We’re all paying customers, and it’s important to show us some respect and consideration. If this keeps up, people are going to start looking elsewhere. It’s really time for the company to step up and take customer service seriously.

    I usually enjoy my Delta

I usually enjoy my Delta flights, but this recent one from Tampa to Atlanta wasn't the best. Right after boarding, I needed some headphones, so I hit the service light. Trish, one of the flight attendants, noticed but didn't stop. I asked her directly the next time she came around, and she promised to get them after takeoff. Well, takeoff came and went, and so did Trish, multiple times, without any headphones in sight. It was frustrating to be ignored like that, especially when all I wanted was a simple request fulfilled. The lack of attention and follow-through left a sour taste, which is a bummer because Delta's usually my go-to airline.

I've flown with Delta for years along with my service dog, but lately, the way they handle requests has been terrible. My properly filled-out documents were rejected without any reason, and I just got a generic response asking to resubmit the same forms. As someone with a disability, this causes me stress and adds unnecessary hurdles for something I'm legally entitled to. It's shocking that a big company like Delta can't manage such basic tasks, clearly showing they're cutting costs at customers' expense. Delta needs to do better in processing requests. Until they improve, I wouldn't recommend flying with them.

    I had quite an experience

I had quite an experience with Delta recently. Our flight was supposed to leave on time, but we ended up waiting for the crew to arrive from another flight that landed late. It was frustrating because the flight status showed on time, but we were delayed. As if that wasn’t enough, when we finally landed, we had to wait even longer for another plane to move from the gate. The whole thing felt really disorganized and like they didn't care about our time. It’s not what I expected from Delta, and it definitely messed up my travel plans. Honestly, they need to get it together.

I had everything planned for my trip, but out of nowhere, my flight got delayed by 3 hours. I used to think Delta was the best for staying on schedule, but now they seem just as unreliable as American. I'm really disappointed and no longer feel loyal to Delta. They seriously need to figure out what's going wrong and communicate their plan to fix it with their customers. It's frustrating when you rely on a company and they let you down. Delta, you need to step up your game.

    Our Delta flight was super

Our Delta flight was super late, and because of that and not checking our luggage through to the final destination, we missed our connection. The crew and a red coat at the gate said Delta would rebook us. I made sure to tell them our connection was with a different airline. The red coat lady told us to go to the KLM desk for help since there wasn't a Delta desk at the airport, and KLM is their partner. But at the KLM desk, three different people said they couldn't help and we had to call Delta. Calling Delta had a 90-minute wait, so we used the App Chat. The chat agent told me to rebook with the other airline and fill out a reimbursement form if there's an extra cost. After failing to rebook with our original airline, we went back to KLM and booked there, as initially advised. No Delta option was available. I filled out the reimbursement form and sent the conversation as proof. Now Delta says they can't reimburse flights on other airlines despite their own employee's advice. They're apologizing for the wrong info but still won't reimburse. How is this even legal?

    Catastrophic time

My partner’s recent journey with Delta Airlines was a complete disaster. Both segments of her international trip were a series of mishaps that left her frazzled and out of pocket. On her way out, her flight from Charleston to Boston was delayed, causing her to miss her connection to London. After bouncing around terminals at Boston Airport and being ignored, she was finally rebooked a day later, arriving in London 24 hours late. No food, water, or assistance was offered during the ordeal. The return trip wasn't any better. Mid-flight, she got a text saying her connecting flight was canceled, leading to hours of waiting and confusion at JFK. She finally got a hotel and meal voucher but spent most of the day without food or water. To make matters worse, she was harassed by a stranger at the airport. Delta’s lack of support and transparency was shocking, making it nearly impossible to file a complaint. This experience was beyond disappointing, and I urge others to reconsider flying with Delta.

    Oh boy, where do I

Oh boy, where do I begin? Our trip with Delta was a disaster from start to finish. We got to Orlando airport and it was chaos trying to get our bags tagged. The machines wouldn’t work and there was no staff to help all the frustrated people. The line to check bags moved at a snail's pace, with one poor Delta employee trying to manage a crowd of annoyed travelers. At the gate, things got worse with garbled announcements, stressed-out passengers, and a last-minute scramble to board. Once on the plane, the seats were uncomfortable, leaning forward awkwardly with barely any legroom. The plane itself felt old and run-down. The meal situation was a joke—one of us got a lackluster meal and the rest with dietary needs got nothing, even though we booked in advance. The cabin crew was rude and unhelpful, clearly wanting to just sit down for the whole flight. It felt like we were treated like cattle. We deeply regret choosing Delta and would pick any other airline over them any day.

    I had a terrible experience

I had a terrible experience with Air France on December 12, 2024, at Sky Harbor Airport. I got there super early, like 3.5 hours before my flight, but when I tried to check-in, the system told me to go to customer service. After waiting in line, they just handed me a card to call the reservation hotline. I tried calling, but the connection was awful, and I got disconnected a bunch of times. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, Skyler, he just told me to keep calling the hotline. They said my flight was canceled, but I could see people boarding! Skyler wouldn't help and just announced over the intercom that the flight wasn't canceled. I was totally confused and ended up missing my flight with no explanation or help. To top it off, on my return flight, my luggage was lost and delayed for four days. I reported it, but it was a nightmare dealing with it. No one helped or told me how to file a claim. The whole experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and ruined my trip.

    Disappointing

I’ve been flying with Delta for years, both for work and vacations, and I’ve noticed their service has taken a nosedive recently. Last year, my husband and I coordinated our wedding and honeymoon with Delta. Our first flight from Atlanta to Ft. Lauderdale was a disaster. Our luggage was wrecked—my husband’s suitcase had no wheels left, and mine was cracked and missing a wheel. We had to deal with a long line at the baggage counter just to catch our cruise. We took pictures and bought a cart to wheel the luggage around. When we got back to the airport for our flight to Italy, the Delta rep apologized and told us to file a claim. I bought a new suitcase in Italy because mine was falling apart. After returning to the US, I filed the claim, but Delta refused to compensate us, citing a 24-hour policy that no one had mentioned. This was really disappointing, given the clear damage to our luggage. Delta’s service is not what it used to be.

Delta, you need to do better

Flying back on June 29th with Delta, I had a shocker. My checked luggage was rummaged through, and gone were my cherished items: a Louis Vuitton purse, wallet, sunglasses, and Gucci glasses. They were gifts from my dad, who passed away last year, making the loss even tougher to swallow. I promptly filed a claim, but got zilch—no claim number, no updates, nothing. Calling five times was a nightmare. Delta’s customer service? Rude and dismissive. Felt like nobody cared or took responsibility. It wasn’t just a slip-up; it felt like the system is set up to push you to give up. But I’m not backing down. This goes beyond lost items; it’s about being ignored and disrespected after personal loss. I plan to file a complaint with the Department of Transportation and will keep speaking up until Delta steps up. Folks, be wary of checking bags with Delta. If anything goes wrong, don’t expect much help from them. Delta, you need to do better.

    Flying from Atlanta to Seoul

Flying from Atlanta to Seoul on the A350 was a real nightmare. Everyone always talks about how comfy that plane is, but my experience was far from it. The cabin crew was shockingly rude, especially this attendant, Jennifer, who got all worked up when I asked for milk in my coffee. The legroom was non-existent, and it was impossible to use the little table properly. When it came to food, I asked Jennifer for a panini, and she practically threw it at me, saying it was $35, even though the app said $10. When I pointed it out, she snatched it back and called me ungrateful. And the landing? Felt like the pilot just dropped us onto the runway. My body aches from those rock-hard seats and the rough landing, and I’m starving since I only had a small bag of crisps and some water. Honestly, after this, I'd choose Spirit over Delta any day. My return will definitely be with Korean Air. Delta, you’ve got some serious work to do.

    Imagine planning a simple weekend

Imagine planning a simple weekend trip for your mom and sister, only to have it turn into a nightmare. They were supposed to fly from Atlanta to Huntsville, but things went downhill fast. Originally, their flight was set for 8:30 p.m., but delays started piling up. An hour and a half before takeoff, they got a delay notice. Then, without any heads-up, their gate changed. My mom, trying to sort it out, was misdirected by a dismissive gate clerk, making them miss the flight. Stranded and exhausted, Delta staff offered no help with rescheduling or lodging. I ended up booking a hotel from Alabama and buying new tickets for the next day. Seeing my sister in tears and feeling helpless was heartbreaking. It’s hard to swallow this treatment after being loyal Delta customers for a decade. And to top it off, getting through to their customer service was a nightmare. Disappointing doesn’t even begin to cover it.

    I gotta share this experience

I gotta share this experience with Delta. So, I had this flight booked from PDX to JFK on May 8, 2025, all set and paid for. But then, out of nowhere, Delta cancels it, saying someone called it in as fraud. Weird thing is, it wasn't me or anyone I know. I didn’t even find out until I called them the night before to ask why I hadn't gotten my check-in email. Spent almost an hour on the phone with some supervisor who seemed more interested in blaming me for being upset than fixing things. They said there was no way to get my reservation back. But my wife gave it a shot and, surprise, another rep managed to fix it. Why couldn’t they do this earlier? I asked to hear the call they said canceled my flight, but Delta won’t share it. It makes me wonder if it even exists. This whole mess has me questioning their care for customers. Might think twice before flying with them again.

    So, there we were at

So, there we were at the airport, trying to check our bags early and bid farewell to our family. We had prepaid for two checked bags through Air France and wanted to check a third at the gate. But the attendant claimed he had no record of our bags and insisted we'd have to pay the full amount for all three. We showed him our Air France account, which clearly listed two bags for our return flight, yet he refused to accept it. Calling Air France was a nightmare—I was stuck on hold for fifteen minutes. Meanwhile, the Delta guy said even if Air France confirmed it, we'd still have to fork out the fees. With only twenty minutes left to check our bags, the situation escalated. My wife's tears and mom's fury made it even worse. I tried to keep it together and mentioned filing a complaint, but he couldn't care less and wouldn't even share his last name. Total chaos!

    Zero stars

April 5th was a nightmare. Got to the airport an hour early, only three people ahead of me. When I finally reached the counter, the agent said new policy: bags must be checked in 45 minutes before the flight. I had just 3 minutes left. Asked them to check my bag, but no luck. They rebooked me on a flight 4 hours later with layovers, turning my 2.5-hour trip into a 9-hour ordeal. That new flight? Delayed by 2 hours. Then they transferred me to Alaska Airlines, had to trek the whole terminal, only to find out that flight was also delayed. Finally got to my destination, waited an hour for my luggage, only to leave without it. After countless phone calls, found out my bag was sent to Salt Lake City on a Delta flight. Delta refused to reimburse my bag fees. Total mess and lost hours of my life. Zero stars if I could.

Delta needs to step up and make amends

Hey Delta, I need to share what happened with my son and his buddy last night. They were flying from Philly to Sarasota but were greeted with delays at the Philly airport. When they finally got to the connecting flight, the gate attendant was super rude, shutting the door even though the flight hadn’t left yet. The boys, who are 18, were bizarrely told their seats were sold and wrongly labeled as miners—seriously? If you were worried, shouldn’t you have helped them? No one at Delta assisted them in finding another flight. They ended up booking a room at the airport for $230, plus $20 just to shower, and had to fly to Tampa the next morning instead of Sarasota. This is unacceptable. I’m ready to spread the word online about this terrible service unless you resolve this. Delta needs to step up and make amends.

On July 31, 2024, after a 2.5-hour delay, we missed our connecting international flight. Delta Airlines gave us a voucher for a hotel room, Ubers, and food. We got to the hotel at 2:00am, and they asked for a credit card for incidentals. The next morning, breakfast turned into a mess—front desk said restaurant handles the voucher, and restaurant said front desk does. After tons of back and forth emails with customer care, I finally got reimbursed for breakfast ($60). They said they don't cover weather-related delays, and never told us why we were delayed. Got charged for the hotel on my credit card and had to fight again for reimbursement. Contacted Delta.com, and they told me to reopen the claim. Customer care was anything but caring. They should honor their vouchers.

I've always been a loyal customer and never really thought about leaving a bad review for an airline, but today was just too much. I travel between Alaska and Texas a lot since I work up north and own businesses in both places. Today's flight was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Margarita, one of the flight attendants, was shockingly rude. When I handed my Alaska Airlines card to pay for snacks, she sarcastically said, "I should charge you double for flying Alaska." I was stunned but told her to go ahead if she felt like it. Then, despite asking multiple times for my chips and drink, she just laughed and ignored me, even saying she'd charge double next time. I felt so disrespected, and she was rude to the passenger next to me too. Never flying Delta again.

My elderly parents had a pretty rough experience at Atlanta airport. They got to the gate shown on their ticket, and everything seemed fine – flight number and destination matched. But then they realized the take-off time had passed, and nothing had changed on the screens. When they asked a staff member, they were rudely told the gate had changed, and it was their fault for not using the app for updates. Instead of helping, the staff just said they could get the next flight in the morning and had to find their own place to stay. My parents ended up on hard seats for six hours with no sleep. For such a busy airport, the conditions were really poor, especially in the Delta area. I was really worried about their health. Delta really needs to step up their game.

Flying with Delta was a mess from start to finish. We were supposed to fly from Chattanooga to Miami for our cruise. Our flight got delayed five times, leaving us stuck at the airport for over 10 hours. Every time, Delta said the flight was still on, until they finally canceled it at 2 AM. We begged them to find another way to get us to Miami on time, even if it meant driving to another airport. No luck. They just told us to book with another airline and promised a refund, which was a total lie. After hours on the phone, they refused to help or reimburse us. We had to buy a pricey last-minute ticket and also lost money on a hotel room we didn’t use. This whole mess nearly cost us our cruise, and Delta's poor service was just the worst. Avoid them if you can.

I've been struggling with my Delta SkyMiles account for ages now. I got my SkyMiles number and verified it via email, but logging in? Nope. Reset my password multiple times, still nothing. I’ve talked to so many different reps, each one giving me new steps to follow. Even made a new account under their guidance, logged in once, then got kicked out. On 10/26/24, I reset my password again with a rep on the phone, but still couldn’t log in. Finally, the rep admitted there's a system issue. My new account apparently didn't even have a password set up. I've verified my SkyMiles number and reset my password three times now. It’s super frustrating, especially since others are having the same problem according to Reddit. Delta, please fix this!

Traveling with Delta was a complete nightmare. I had a connecting flight in the US that I booked through another airline, and my Delta flight was delayed by hours. The staff seemed clueless and kept telling me to contact the other airline for rebooking. After a lot of back-and-forth, they finally talked to Air France and issued me a new ticket. But instead of business class, I got downgraded to economy, and they acted like it wasn't their problem. To make matters worse, I've been trying to get a refund for the downgrade for over a month now. Flying with Delta has been

Flying with Delta has been an ongoing saga of disappointment. It's like entering a realm where time loses meaning and delays are the norm, not the exception. Every flight seems like an endurance test of patience and resilience. The notion of "on-time" flights seems more like a joke than reality. The crew? They hover somewhere between indifferent and downright clueless, offering nothing but a resigned shrug when things go awry. As for the food, it's a culinary adventure gone wrong, resembling something you'd expect in a bad sci-fi movie. The most baffling part? Delta’s been around for over a century, yet their service feels like a rookie’s disastrous debut. It’s astonishing how consistently they miss even the lowest expectations.

    Flying from Atlanta to Newark

Flying from Atlanta to Newark was an eye-opener, to say the least. The flight attendants were on a whole new level of rude. I get that flights can be chaotic with delays and mix-ups, but the attitude? Unbelievable. One attendant greeted us with sarcasm when we mentioned we barely made the connection. Then, I asked another for some water, and she just raised a finger, dismissing me entirely. Never saw that water, by the way. And before the safety video, while reaching for my bag, another attendant casually threatened to kick me off the flight. Seriously? When I asked her for water, she acted like it was the biggest inconvenience. Is this how they treat economy passengers? Felt like a second-class citizen. Delta, never again.

    Booking a flight with Delta

Booking a flight with Delta for my wife's last visit to her mom seemed straightforward. I got first-class tickets to ensure comfort for my wife, who has stage 4 pancreatic cancer, and arranged for special assistance. I even bought expensive flight insurance just in case. But then I got pneumonia. I asked Delta to change the name on my ticket to my sister-in-law's, but they refused. They said I had to refund my ticket and buy a new one at the current prices. This left me scrambling for money and a new ticket, which ended up being in a different class and more expensive. Worse, my wife and her sister now have separate seats. Delta's policies and lack of flexibility were really frustrating. We won't be flying with them again.

This whole experience has been really disappointing

I recently tried to get a refund for our Delta Airlines tickets, only to be flat-out rejected. Apparently, our tickets are non-refundable. Normally, I’d get it if we were the ones canceling for a random reason, but this is different. With Delta’s shaky safety record, we're genuinely scared to fly with them. I mean, how can they expect us to feel safe? We canceled our trip purely out of fear for our safety, but Delta just offered us some eCredit for future flights. How does that solve anything? I can't see how one Delta flight is safer than another. Honestly, it's frustrating that Delta is more interested in holding onto our $2,000 than addressing our safety concerns. This whole experience has been really disappointing.

Flew from São Paulo to LA with my husband and son on Delta, had to connect in Atlanta. Checking in was a mess, tried three times and finally had to get help at the airport. First flight was okay, but things went south in Atlanta. They split us up on the second flight; our 5-year-old was in a different row. Kid needs help with everything—snacks, bathroom, you name it. Asked the flight attendant for help, she sent me back to the gate. Gate agent was rude, blamed us for not checking tickets. Told me to ask other passengers to switch seats. Hate confrontations but had no choice. Put my son next to me, nobody claimed the seat. Delta really dropped the ball, expected better treatment and a system to keep families together.

I recently snagged two last-minute tickets from Dallas to Jackson Hole with a pitstop in Salt Lake City. I missed my American Airlines connection due to weather, and they rebooked me for the next day. Desperate to get to Jackson Hole the same day, I hit up the Delta counter. The lady there assured me they could get us there, so I paid $1100 plus $70 for checked bags. Right after I paid, she dropped the bomb that the first flight was delayed but promised we’d still make the connection. We trusted her, but the flight got even more delayed, and we missed the connection in Salt Lake City. Had to stay overnight. Super frustrating since she wasn’t upfront about the delay. Wouldn’t have bought those tickets if I’d known.

    I had a terrible experience

I had a terrible experience with Delta recently. I was forced to check my carry-on bag at the gate, even though it had my essential medical supplies and allergy-safe food. I explained my disabilities and mentioned the Air Carrier Access Act, but the agent was really unhelpful. They claimed there was no overhead space, but I saw empty bins when I boarded. I had to cram everything into my small personal bag, which ruined my food and left me without what I needed during my layover. Delta offered a $50 voucher afterward but said they couldn’t determine if their supervisor broke any rules. I've filed a complaint with the DOT. It's so frustrating that airlines don't respect disability rights. This needs to change.
