My partner and I flew with them for the first time

My partner and I flew with them for the first time today on our way to Australia for a holiday. The flight was 12 hours, and there was a long wait between meals—9 hours to be exact. When I asked for the snacks and sandwiches listed on their menu, I was told there were “none left.” Not exactly what we had hoped for! We paid extra for more leg room, which we did get. However, every time someone pressed the call button, a bright blue light would shine in my face, making it difficult to sleep. Additionally, my feet and personal items were stepped on by other passengers waiting to use the toilet. Very annoying! Unfortunately, we have to fly with them again for our return trip in 3 weeks. I would recommend looking into other options before making the same choice we did. I will definitely be sending in a complaint once I get back to the UK.

Food tastes okay, but it's what you expect on long

Food tastes okay, but it's what you expect on long flights when it's included in the cost. You have to pay for Wi-Fi, but they give you some codes (one per device, which is a pain). Wi-Fi is spotty, and I couldn’t work on the plane. Maybe business class is better. They give you a blanket and pillow, which is nice + free earphones, and an entertainment system with new movies (but it's hard to use). There were delays on both flights, and I got in 1:30 late. The crew is really friendly + they play nice music when landing/taking off. Oh, they overlooked the baggage weight limit (20kg vs 7kg) twice, which was really nice. 3 stars, they have potential but need to fix some issues. Also, it's my first long flight, so I don’t have other comparisons (lucky them!)

During the 17-hour flight, my Premium

During the 17-hour flight, my Premium Economy seat's leg rest was stuck upwards, making it unusable. Despite trying to fix it and asking for help from flight attendants, the problem stayed. So, I couldn't lower the leg rest for the whole flight. Premium Economy seats cost more for extra comfort. Not being able to use the leg rest really affected my comfort. Since it was a long flight, this problem made it uncomfortable. Singapore Airlines didn't get back to me after 2 complaints in writing.

We just got back from a lengthy flight to Australia

We just got back from a lengthy flight to Australia, and this was our first trip with SQ. They were great. The crew was very nice and professional, and although we were in economy, the seats were surprisingly cozy. We will certainly book with them again. Thanks
