Attempting to schedule a home viewing turned into a baffling ordeal with incessant runaround

Attempting to schedule a home viewing turned into a baffling ordeal with incessant runaround. Despite 12 calls, no appointment materialized. They insisted on scheduling a call with a local agent but failed to provide the necessary information. Excuses about text message volume felt like stalling tactics. The lack of transparency and follow-through suggests incompetence or worse, a scam. If they couldn't manage simple communication, how can they be trusted with significant transactions? This experience eroded any confidence I had in their professionalism. I advise others to exercise caution when dealing with this organization. Their inability to fulfill basic promises is alarming and indicative of deeper issues.

My engagement with Realtor.com ended in frustration and suspicion

My engagement with Realtor.com ended in frustration and suspicion. Upon finding a unit in Delray Beach, I paid the $52 application fee, only to receive an SMS notifying me of its unavailability. This dubious sequence raises concerns about their practices. Charging an application fee for an unavailable unit is deceptive and unacceptable. It's imperative for Realtor.com to uphold transparency and ethical standards to maintain trust with users. This experience prompts caution when considering their services.

I attempted to reach the agent for a house

I attempted to reach the agent for a house but quickly got spam texts for TikTok and Snapchat instead. After more than 4 hours, I got an email about a different agent who would contact me soon. It's been 12 hours since that email and still no contact. This was a test to see if I could connect with someone, but now I'm not interested in the house anymore. I won't use real estate apps or sites again—it's a waste of time waiting for any response.

The company has some helpful info on the site.

The company has some helpful info on the site. But emails mostly spam. Even when they say it's about your saved search, they send wrong stuff. Like, if you ask for single-story homes in NW area, they send condos and tiny houses far away. Not good at all!

Every time I try to contact

Every time I try to contact the owner about a house and applying, they never respond to me. It's really annoying. Here and Zillow need to make sure owners reply to people who ask questions and want to apply. It's unfair that people keep ignoring me.

The system tends to cling

The system tends to cling onto outdated specifications and bombards with unwarranted alerts. It frequently overlooks the specified price range and home details, showing a preference for zip codes instead.
