Overall, the experience was quite nice. It was amazing to witness the beauty of Antarctica! The crew was very concerned about safety. However, one big downside was the “talks” on wildlife. We attended the session about birds and hoped to learn about the birds we would spot, their nesting and migration patterns, what they eat, who their predators are, etc. Instead, we heard strange stories about how birds “came from dinosaurs.” This is not true, and I didn’t like being lectured about something that’s just not right.

It was a memorable journey for both my mother and me, and I’m happy to have chosen this company. The team worked hard every day to ensure we had the best opportunities to explore Antarctica. Their efforts made this trip even more special for all of us. A big thank you to the entire crew and our guide Woody. I can’t wait to join Quark for another adventure, perhaps to the Arctic next time.

The ship cabins, the hotel staff

The ship cabins, the hotel staff, and the expedition team were all quite good. The staff worked hard to make sure we had enjoyable shore experiences. The breakfast and lunch buffets were fine, and the evening briefings along with the scientific talks were both engaging and educational. We had a great time overall. This is our second visit, and we plan to return again.

This experience was really good. The housekeeping team was very nice. Every night, they left us with fun towel animals. I really appreciated how friendly the housekeeping staff was to my family and me. The crew was also very kind. It made the whole experience feel unique and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this expedition company with 5 stars. I liked this company a lot, and these trips are great. I suggest trying the Gems of West Greenland trip and the Northwest Passage trip.
