You guys are good at talking
by Alan

You guys are good at talking to me about prices. I never had issues with stuff I buy from you. Wish there was a store nearby.

by Susan

The company's service promptly addressed my query regarding color confirmation. Placing my order for the olive half umbrella online was extremely convenient. I am eagerly anticipating receiving my purchase.

I had a clear idea of what I needed. It was nice to have a variety of choices available, and I could quickly place my order within a few minutes. The website is straightforward and helps me save time.

by Anonymous

The company's website lacks detailed information about the tools they sell. They need to provide better descriptions including application, weight, dimensions, etc. for all their products. While some items have this information, most do not. However, during this shopping experience, the log mill did have the necessary details, which was uncommon. In the past, I've added items to my cart but didn't buy them due to the lack of information. The checkout process was okay.

by Bill

Initially, the company offered a five-dollar discount by prompting me at the start. I entered my email as requested, but during checkout, I couldn't find any option to apply or receive the promised discount. This is the sole reason for withholding a five-star rating.

by Anonymous

I've had a lengthy association with Northern Tool spanning over a decade or more. My experiences have generally been satisfactory, with their service consistently meeting expectations. There was a minor issue on one occasion, but a single phone call promptly resolved it. They exhibit proficiency in managing their operations and display a genuine concern for their customers.

Ordered in January, but silence ensued.
by Robert Baker

Ordered in January, but silence ensued. A call revealed my order's abrupt cancellation due to a card decline, likely linked to a hack. No notifications received. Reordering now, hoping for a smoother process. Communication is key.

Visited the new Cincinnati store
by BILL DANIELS

Visited the new Cincinnati store, disappointed they don't stock a basic 1/4 air ratchet. Online order claimed 3-5 days, but received an email the next day, pushing the delivery to 20-30 days. The experience with Northern Tool is frustrating and unreliable, making it unlikely for me to consider them further.

Recent orders consistently canceled.
by Josh Risk

Recent orders consistently canceled. Online system fails to match real inventory, falsely advertising deals only to retract them, seemingly pushing customers to purchase alternative items with the initially promised "deal."

The website proved to be a hassle.
by Morrison

The website proved to be a hassle. The auto-fill feature malfunctioned, forcing manual entry of login, password, and credit card details. Checkout glitches emerged twice, leading to a blank screen. No order confirmation surfaced, compelling an email check. Reloading the page reset the checkout steps. In the midst of a busy schedule, such technical nuisances translate to a significant time sink, far from an efficient user experience.

Man, my trailer ordeal with
by Ronald Garber

Man, my trailer ordeal with Northern Tools has been a rollercoaster. Ordered it, and two weeks later, crickets – no shipping, no trailer in sight. Had to hit up the corporate office, and the lady on the other end was at least helpful. Promised to make some calls, and a week later, finally got my trailer (three weeks post-purchase). Now, the real fun begins – assembling this beast. The instructions? A joke. Seven nonstop hours later, I've got a trailer that still can't hit the road 'cause the tail lights are a dud. And guess what? The title to register this thing is MIA too. Back on the phone with corporate – apparently, it takes them four hours with a squad of people to assemble this trailer, not one lone warrior. A month in, still no title, and I'm shelling out cash to fix the lights. A cool grand sitting in my front yard, useless. Threatening to bring in the big guns (my attorney) just to get the title I paid for. Seriously, save yourself the headache – unless you can grab it in person, steer clear of Northern Tools.

Ugh, the checkout process
by Ken Huntsman

Ugh, the checkout process was a bit of a headache. Kept throwing curveballs, making me re-enter my email and password multiple times. Like, come on, let's keep it smooth and simple, shall we?

Waiting since September for the
by Andy Meyer

Waiting since September for the 175203, and when it finally ships, Fedex does a U-turn, calling it undeliverable. Not cool. Credited for the parts, sure, but the $80 freight? Nah, still hanging in limbo. Customer service? Not winning any awards – not helpful at all. Now, the kicker – gotta place the order again, which means forking out double for freight. And don't even get me started on the glitch – pick UPS Ground, and suddenly it's playing mix-and-match with Truck & Ground, throwing in the truck freight cost. Only way to dodge that? Ship it to our Customs Broker in MT, who then sends it our way. Not my first rodeo with this glitch, and it's a headache. Got a manufacturer breathing down my neck, needing these pieces, or I'd be shopping elsewhere, no question.
