To nobody's surprise, I'm incredibly disappointed. I placed my order on May 21, and as of today, October 12, I still haven't received the lenses or the glasses that I bought separately. Let's take a look at the timeline here – check when I ordered the lenses, when you received them, and when they were initially shipped. I'll admit that my travel schedule caused a delay in getting the professional measurements you requested, so part of that timing is on me. However, a month ago, I returned the glasses and frames. Over two weeks went by before I had to reach out for an update on September 18. It took four days for Lensabl to even locate my order, and then another week passed before I got an update that it would take an additional 4-5 days. So, how much time has elapsed between the first order and the redo, or when you combine both? Is this kind of delay standard for all orders at Lensabl?

I submitted 13 frames for new lenses with a recent prescription, anticipating Black Friday savings. Upon receiving the package, disappointment ensued. The temple bars on my acetate frames were excessively flared, and the front rims were flattened, rendering all pairs ill-fitted. Some lenses were not properly seated, leading to distortion and the ability to run a finger along the lens edge. Motion sickness ensued from pervasive distortion, particularly in the unusable rimless frames. Customer Service response time and brevity were disheartening. Despite a positive prior experience with Lensabl, this recent encounter discourages future consideration and recommendations.

I placed an order for prescription sunglasses on Black Friday, and my experience with Lenabl has been disappointing. The initial delay was attributed to quality control issues, resulting in a remake. However, the replacement lenses were still inadequate – too light and an odd orange hue instead of brown. Promised next day air delivery did not materialize, and the extended timeline has eroded my trust. The overall product quality is subpar, leaving me dissatisfied. Service response was quick, but a bit unclear sometimes. The wait for my order was around 2.5 weeks, not too long. But the progress bar didn't update, so it seemed like nothing was happening. They should tell us the real time it takes instead of saying 7 days. It feels like something's wrong when weeks pass without updates. But my order was perfect when I got it. I'm pleased with the quality. I might use them again, but knowing it takes about a month. That's why I'm giving them one less star. Overall, Lensabl did what they promised, just slower than expected.

I ended up ordering the wrong lenses

I mistakenly ordered bifocal lenses instead of progressives, which was disappointing. I thought my prescription was bifocal because I wear two different ones, but I was wrong. Maybe if they showed a picture of what to expect, it would help. While these lenses work fine for most things, they don't work well for me at work because I have trouble focusing on the computer screen and reading at a distance of 15-18 inches.

When placing the order

When placing the order, it asked for 3 photos (progressive lenses). I uploaded one and was unable to upload the other two. After a few weeks, I contacted Lensabl and sent the photos (and Rx again) via email. The total time to receive was almost two months and two emails. The glasses are great, just took longer than I expected. I will use this service again to convert some vintage frames into sunglasses.

It took nearly 3 months

It took nearly 3 months to get the lenses right, with constant back-and-forth communication. The experience involved terrible communication and poor customer service. I have no interest in dealing with this company again. Buyers should be cautious. Additionally, they do not offer refunds for their mistakes and simply make you wait for them to eventually get it right.

my experience with this company I bought glasses from. So, you know how I got my glasses and was stoked to finally have good vision? Well, turns out, they were all scratched up on the lens. Can you believe that? And to top it off, I spent my hard-earned cash on these things! What a waste, man

The prescription glasses are good and they came faster than I thought. I saw many bad reviews so I was afraid to try lensabl but I was happily surprised. Ignore me but I had a normal experience.
