George shop is a deceptive entity. Regrettably, I made a purchase, only to discover that the money went to a fraudulent company, Labubu Limited, part of the Uniqueness Scam Network. Operating as a sham, they lure customers with various products through Facebook and Instagram ads, presenting an illusion of legitimacy. However, the reality is grim – customers receive nothing, fake items, or products vastly different from the advertised ones. Attempts to seek assistance are met with unhelpful responses, and the absence of proper refund procedures exacerbates the issue. Labubu Limited persistently evades accountability, continuously reemerging with new domains and Facebook pages. Stay clear of this deceptive operation!

I paid £22.99 for a Vintage T9 Trimmer Professional trimmer. Shipping and handling added another £4.99, making the total £27.98. The delivery time was 10-15 days, which feels very long for the high shipping cost. The item came from China, and I suspect it was bought on Aliexpress for a much lower price, from around £0.64 to a few pounds. I suggest you look for similar products elsewhere to find a better deal instead of just going with the first price you see. I reached out to customer service, but it’s been over a week with no response.

Well, I must say, my initial experience

Well, I must say, my initial experience with this company has been rather disappointing. Despite the indication that they operate in the UK, my parcel, ordered on the 2nd of December, has yet to arrive. What's more perplexing is that when I tracked the shipment, it seems to be coming all the way from Canada. Twelve days have passed, and I'm still waiting. Not exactly a stellar start to my customer journey.

I recently experienced a significant issue with my order from your company, and I must express my frustration. Despite placing an order for goods, they have yet to arrive, prompting me to reorder and make an additional payment. In an attempt to seek assistance, I reached out to your customer care department via email, only to discover that the response time can be up to three days. My primary concern lies in the absence of a human touch and the lack of a telephone number for direct communication. Depending solely on emails leaves much to be desired when it comes to addressing customer issues promptly. To borrow a well-known phrase, "C'mon, it's not rocket science." Given my circumstances, I would prefer to receive the original order and the one I placed today rather than opting for a refund. This urgency stems from the fact that I still have several people to buy for, and being virtually housebound, I lack convenient nearby options for shopping. I eagerly await your prompt response and resolution to this matter.

Scam company!

I received the belt which was too small (size info incorrect) Return policy says goods may be returned within 30 days but no return address. No return address on package. Emailed customer services as per the return policy - no response. Emailed again - no response. I then started a dispute via the PayPal resolution centre saying the goods were not as described. Next day I had email via PayPal from Inspiringinventory (!) offering for me to keep the goods and get 50% back. I asked for full refund and a UK address. Next day I had the "final" offer of 70% back. I said I wanted to return the goods to a UK address and a full refund. Next day I had confirmation from PayPal that I had my full refund - postage excluded which I expected. So use PayPal and don't be bullied!!!

I bought a vegetable slicer

I bought a vegetable slicer from this company, but it arrived damaged. It's made in China and only slices vegetables. I wanted to return it for a refund, but each time I email them, I just get delivery information back. They haven't responded directly about returning the item. It cost £29.00. As a Forces Veteran, I'm not happy with this. The customer service has completely ignored me. I won't ever buy from this company again. The service is terrible, and the item is cheap with no quality. The instruction booklet is brief and tiny. I wouldn't even give it to a charity shop. Shameful service.

Georgeshop keeps sending me emails all the time. I have opted out at least 7 times and even wrote them to say that I would escalate things if I got another email. That email arrived today. I stop any dealings with companies that don't respect their customers. Because of this, they won’t get any money from me. If they can't handle a simple request, how can they be trusted with bigger issues?

Order arrived on the 5th of October. The nail trimmer looks nice, had a quick glance at it and used it right away. It works fast and does the job well. My only issue is that I can't seem to open the small dust bin to empty it, but I'm sure I'll figure it out soon. Still deserves 5 stars. Good quality, seems well built. Pleased with my buy. The box came all squished, but

The box came all squished, but luckily the gadget inside was fine. I tried to slice veggies with it, but the instructions for making chips or julienne were impossible to understand. The diagrams were tiny, even with a magnifying glass, and still didn't make sense. I'm returning the chopper and want a refund, including the return postage.

Despite having a UK website, the products are actually from China. I bought a posture corrector in XL, but it was so small it didn’t fit my 36" waist, even though it was labeled XL. They offered a return at my expense, so I chose a 50% refund, which they did give eventually. Not too pleased!
