I'm happy with them

Definitely worth it

So, I had this accident and ended up with Compartment Syndrome and MRSA. Eventually, I needed two big skin grafts on my lower right leg. I was super nervous about doing stuff that could hurt the graft areas, which are now covered by really thin, new skin. Alright, so I’ve been using

Alright, so I’ve been using these pads for a while now, and here's the lowdown. Super comfy, no doubt about it, and they arrived at my doorstep in no time. They perform excellently, but I reckon they could really benefit from some extra reinforcement where the pad attaches to the material. Had a couple rip on me before—once during a crash and another just from regular use. Also, a cutout behind the knee would be ace for more pedaling comfort. They’re thin, so they don’t bunch up, but a cutout could make a difference. Despite that, this is my fourth pair, and they never let me down. Got a thicker pair too, just for those wild downhill park days.

I wanted something to wear under my pads to prevent chafing. They turned out to be super tight, like, squeezing tight. I probably should've ordered a medium instead. Just picked up the new Mesa knee pads in extra large, hoping they'd be a better fit since G-Form seems to be the only brand thinking about bigger thighs. They feel snug at first, almost too tight, but I'm crossing my fingers they'll stretch out a bit. I was a bit worried because the last G-Form guards didn't save me from a knee injury at Whistler, and that pain stuck around for months even with therapy. Anyway, the Mesa pads have more protection around the MCL and LCL, plus some extra coverage on the shin and outer leg, which is cool. They feel a bit abrasive when stretching, so I'm hoping they soften up. I’m optimistic they'll hold up when I hit the ground. Will update this review once I’ve taken them for a few rides!

Bought something on my Windows

Bought something on my Windows 11 computer, but wanted it on my Windows 7 instead. I reached out to their support—can't remember what it's called—and they emailed me a download link. Switched over to my Windows 7 to grab it, but the email was gone. Computers drive me nuts sometimes! I'm sure it'll get sorted out eventually, but in hindsight, I should have just downloaded the file on my Windows 11 and used a USB drive to move it over to my Windows 7. Definitely a lesson learned for next time!
