Wind was blowing at 15-20 knots, with seas reaching 3-4 feet on and off the reef in Islamorada, FL. Our family consisted of mom, dad, and two boys aged 9 and 12. Unfortunately, the youngest boy got seasick after catching 12 nice fish. We asked to cut our trip short from 3/4 day to 1/2 day. The company promptly refunded us $200, and Fishing Booker reimbursed Makaira Fish Company the $20 difference in the booking fee. Everyone involved appreciated the swift resolution to the issue.

We didn't hear from them about where to go, and the next day the boat had issues. The owner promised to find another boat and call back in 15-20 minutes. I called twice after 40 minutes, but got no answer. I wouldn't recommend using this service.

This company falls short of basic expectations. Despite booking numerous guides worldwide, my experience with Fishbooker was disappointing. Unlike direct bookings, they offer a mere $50 credit and show little concern for disruptions like guide unavailability or boat issues. It's more like a budget-friendly Uber for boats, but with inadequate support. My advice: steer clear and explore other options for a more reliable and customer-friendly experience.

No email explanation for the change in their service provider, and the only refund option was through PayPal. Setting up an account and attempting to get a refund proved frustrating, compounded by a disabled link. Fishing Booker's lack of transparency and the hassle with PayPal fees have eroded my trust. I won't be considering their services again.
