    I was completely overwhelmed when

I was completely overwhelmed when I realized I had 26 payments left. I couldn't believe it! I decided to call in, and that's when I spoke to Evan. He was super helpful and explained that if I made a payment within the next 30 days, I could actually shorten the loan term and reduce the number of payments. It was such a relief to know I had options. Evan really made a difference during a stressful time for me. Thanks to his guidance, I feel much more at ease with my financial situation. So grateful for the support I received!

    I've had a positive experience

I've had a positive experience with them so far. The team has been really helpful and supportive. I'm currently waiting to hear back about the funds I applied for, which I need to pay an important bill. Everyone I've interacted with has been great, and they seem to really care about helping me out. I'm feeling hopeful about getting the funds soon. Once everything is sorted, I'll definitely leave another review. Overall, it's been a good experience and I'm looking forward to seeing how things turn out.

I had a chat with Jen the other day, and wow, she was kind and really understood what I was going through. I was stuck in a tough spot after Hurricane Milton, and Jen did her best to help me out. Talking to her made me feel a whole lot better, even though I still don't know if I'm approved or not. Just her kindness and willingness to assist really lifted my spirits. Fingers crossed that everything works out, but either way, chatting with Jen was a bright spot in my day.

I've used Explore before without any issues, so I decided to go with them again. This time, Abigail was my rep and she was amazing! She walked me through the whole process and even applied a 20% interest code for me, which is fantastic. Now I'm just waiting for the approval, shouldn't take long. It's important to pay these loans off quickly to dodge high interest fees. Thanks Explore for the great service and for making things so easy! Definitely recommend.

I got this unexpected call from Scarlet saying they gave me $500, already in my bank. I had a bunch of questions, but she took the time to answer everything. I was kinda skeptical at first, but she seemed pretty genuine. Now, I just gotta wait and see if everything goes smoothly. Fingers crossed!

But I did have to get a supervisor, Victor, involved to make sure they got all the info I gave them. They did what they could, but I’m holding off on my final thoughts until the funding comes through.

I've got a loan with Explorer Credit, and things were fine until I misplaced my phone. Had to switch numbers, so I rang them up to make the change. But now, I can't even access my account. Every time I try to log in, it keeps promising to send a code for sign-in, but I never receive anything. I reached out to customer service, and they said they couldn't help much, just promised to have someone call me back. But no one ever did, and even now, I'm still locked out of my account. It feels a bit dodgy. Lesson learned: don't lose your phone or change numbers, or you might never get back into your account again.

I had quite the mixed experience. Samantha, Jen, and Michael were superstars—so helpful and friendly! But Samuel? Yikes, he was really rude and didn't help me at all. I got approved for my loan on Friday, but now it's Monday and still no funds in my account. I called them up, and they said it would take 2 to 3 days for the money to show up, but my email said it was being disbursed and I'd get it soon. Still waiting and getting pretty frustrated. Wish they were clearer about the timing.

I had a really helpful agent, super friendly and all. But here's the catch – they make it seem like you're good to go for the loan. You hand over all your info, bank details and everything. They even try to pull money from your account, get you to e-sign papers, and set up payment dates with crazy high interest rates. It's kinda misleading. If your credit score isn't great, I'd say steer clear. This process just didn't feel right to me.

    I had a wild ride

I had a wild ride with this loan company. First, they denied my application, but a month later, I found money in my checking account. I started making payments, but after a few, I hit a rough patch. They never reached out – no calls, no emails, nothing. Three months later, they began texting me about settling the debt, which had tripled. They offered to settle for $700, which I agreed to, but then another rep offered to settle for half. Confusing! I pointed out the $700 deal, and they confirmed it, sending a PayPal link. Weirdly, when I called, I always got men with heavy accents. I decided not to pay. Now, they’re offering to settle for $900 by March 28, 2025. I asked for an official letter, and then they offered $1000 in two payments. The next day, another text came, offering to settle for half of $3400. This whole thing is just too whacky.

If I could rate them with negative stars, I would.

If I could rate them with negative stars, I would. Due to a slowdown in our business, I needed a loan to manage until mid-next month. They informed me that I was approved for $500. I signed the paperwork and was told it would be in my account in two days. However, nothing came through, so I called them. They then said they couldn't provide that amount despite the signed documents, offering $350 instead. I signed new documents, expecting an email confirmation by day’s end and a deposit by 5 pm or the next day. When I checked my account, it was closed. I called again, and they said I’d need to reapply in another five days and would not receive the loan. They raised my hopes twice only to let me down. Even after I signed everything! My advice...LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR A LOAN. THEY ARE MISLEADING AND UNRELIABLE!

I was in need of a loan and ended up with this company somehow. Didn’t even realize I signed up, but they had all my info. Before they sent the money, I asked to cancel it, but it still landed in my account. Started making payments, but couldn’t access my online account. Tried calling them but no help there. Never got my loan agreement either, so I was clueless about what I had agreed to. Paid $150 three times for a $500 loan, but still owed $480! Called and emailed them a bunch, but got nowhere. Stopped payments through my bank, then they started using checks without telling me. Had to close my account and cancel my debit card. Paid them $500 already, but they keep trying to get more interest out of me. No way to see my account or any agreement. Feels like a scam.

    Good luck and take care

Man, let me tell you about my experience with this loan company. So, I borrowed $1100, thinking it would help me out. But guess what? After just one month, and four automatic withdrawals, my balance had ballooned to over $600 in interest alone. I couldn't believe it. The interest rate is just insane, it's like they’re taking advantage of people. When I called to figure out what was going on, it was pretty clear: out of the $1100 I borrowed, only $11 had gone towards the principal. The rest was all interest. I ended up paying off the balance immediately. If you can, avoid this trap. It’s a terrible way to be treated, especially for us Americans. I hope someone reads this and thinks twice. Good luck and take care.

This is a big letdown, how can one link their bank account? Sign a paper and also get a payment date. I got all this on 10/1/2024 and called two days later (I called them; they didn’t call me) just to be told that I need to send a selfie holding my id. This is again two days after the date I was told it would be in my account. Now they say that more documents are needed. Well, when was I going to be informed? I called just two days later. Even asked to talk to "JEN" and was told HE doesn’t work on that floor. Which I found strnage since JEN is a woman (they even sent a pic with the email of JEN) so how would one not know this?

    Avoid them at all costs!

Man, what a mess. First, they bombarded me with calls, like 8 times in a single day! They got all my personal info and told me I was approved for the loan a few days later. I even signed a contract. But then, they asked for the same info AGAIN just a few days later and kept texting me for it. In the end, they denied my loan for some vague "other" reason. Since then, I've been swamped with scam calls from fake loan companies. I’m pretty sure they're selling my personal info to anyone who pays. And when they do give out loans, the interest is through the roof at 700%. Super shady business. Avoid them at all costs!

    I applied for a $900

I applied for a $900 loan with Explore Credit, connected to the Wakpamni Lake Community Corporation, part of the Oglala Sioux Tribe. My credit score isn't great due to some fraud on my accounts, so I thought this could help. They wanted my driver’s license, social security number, and bank details before even telling me the loan rate or terms. When I finally saw the contract, it mentioned a 782% APR and a finance charge of $6,309 for a small loan. This seemed super sketchy, almost like a scam. I didn't sign anything. Seriously, avoid this place and tell others to stay away too!

    So, I gotta tell you

So, I gotta tell you about my experience with this company—it was a total disaster. I thought I was getting a decent loan, but it turns out they're super tricky. Before I knew it, I was paying back four times what they initially promised. It felt like being stuck in a never-ending cycle of repayments. Honestly, if you're considering them, I'd say run the other way. There's gotta be better options out there, like SPACE BANK. I've heard good things about their track record, and they seem way more reliable. Don't make the mistake I did—do your homework and choose wisely.

Non-Bank Financial Service

Each brand on RealReviews.io belongs to a specific category, where it holds a position in the top rankings. The ranking is determined by various factors, such as the overall rating on the site, the number of reviews, the business's activity in managing reviews, engagement with customers, and more.

ExploreCredit.com is 62 out of 67 best companies in Non-Bank Financial Service on RealReviews.io

About ExploreCredit.com

ExploreCredit.com presents itself as a straightforward and efficient solution for those needing financial assistance. Specializing in short-term installment loans, they cater to customers looking for quick financial solutions without the burden of hidden fees. Their process is fully automated, offering a convenient online application that simplifies loan acquisition.

Is Explorecredit a scam? Nope! ExploreCredit is part of the Wakpamni Lake Community Corporation (WLCC), operating within the Oglala Sioux Tribe, thus adhering to both tribal and federal laws. This affiliation underlines their commitment to responsible lending and customer-focused services.

Financial Products and Services

ExploreCredit.com's primary service provides installment loans with the added convenience of an entirely online process. Their loans are designed to be paid back in fixed installments over a set period, allowing customers to manage their repayments predictably. This type of loan benefits individuals needing immediate financial assistance for emergency repairs or other urgent expenses.

Is Explorecredit.com legit? Sure! Their product range includes personal loans and payday loans online, with amounts up to $5,000. The application process is streamlined and secure, requiring basic personal information like social security number, driver's license, and proof of employment. ExploreCredit.com prides itself on fast and secure processing, ensuring that decisions on loan applications are made swiftly.

The company's approach to lending is characterized by transparency and simplicity, emphasizing clear communication of terms and interest rates. They provide a range of repayment options, allowing customers to choose terms that best fit their financial situations. It's important to note that while they provide financial solutions, they encourage responsible borrowing and recommend that installment loans be used only for short-term financial needs. Customers are advised to consider credit counseling if they face credit difficulties.

Application Process and Requirements

The application process is unlikely to cause fear because all stages are clearly outlined. As a potential borrower, you should spend approximately five minutes filling out a basic form with your personal and financial information. This is standard procedure to move on to the next stage. Carefully ensure that parameters such as social security number and employment details are filled out correctly. If you make a mistake, there is a high chance of rejection.

Key eligibility criteria for a loan include having a valid checking account, a verifiable identity, and a reliable source of income. These requirements ensure that applicants have the means to repay the loan. During the application process, ExploreCredit reviews the applicant's information in real-time to assess their eligibility and ability to repay the loan. This assessment may involve checking applicant data through national databases like Clarity and Factor Trust, and in some cases, a credit check might be conducted.

The company emphasizes transparency and trust in its operations, which is evident in its application process. As per an Explorecredit review, the company's process is straightforward, with clear guidelines on the necessary documentation and eligibility criteria. The assessment process is equally transparent, with real-time reviews ensuring quick decision-making.

Interest Rates and Fee Structure

Is Explorecredit.com real? Yes! ExploreCredit.com offers a range of financial products with varying interest rates and fee structures. The Annual Percentage Rate (APR) for their loans can vary widely based on the loan type and individual creditworthiness. For personal loans, APRs generally start at 4.99%. A loan's specific Annual Percentage Rate (APR) varies based on factors like credit score, history, income, and lender's terms.

For example, a $2,500 loan over one year with a 10% APR and a 3% fee would lead to monthly payments of around $219.79. The total repayment would be approximately $2,637, covering interest and fees. Additionally, borrowers should consider other potential loan costs, such as origination fees, fees for late payments, and charges that may apply for non-payment. ExploreCredit.com, being not a direct lender, does not set these fees but rather facilitates connections between borrowers and lenders.

Repayment Terms and Options

Is Explorecredit reliable? Sure. ExploreCredit.com's loans and credit products come with varied repayment terms, which are flexible and cater to the diverse financial situations of borrowers. The duration of the loans can vary depending on the specific product chosen and the individual agreement between the borrower and the lender. Generally, these loans are structured as short-term financial solutions, implying that they can be spread out over weeks, months, or even a year.

Payment frequency options are another critical aspect of the repayment terms. Borrowers typically have the choice of making payments on a schedule that suits their income cycle, whether weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. This flexibility is particularly beneficial for those who may have irregular income patterns.

According to Explorecredit reviews, the company offers a degree of repayment flexibility. This flexibility might include options to adjust payment dates or amounts in case of financial difficulties. However, borrowers must communicate such needs with the lender as early as possible to avoid complications.

The specific terms of repayment, including any options for early repayment or consequences of late payments, are usually detailed in the loan agreement. Borrowers are advised to thoroughly review these terms before accepting a loan, ensuring they are manageable within their financial context.

Customer Support and Financial Guidance

ExploreCredit.com strongly emphasizes customer support, offering various channels for assistance and communication. Their customer support team is accessible through phone and email, providing a direct line of communication for any inquiries or concerns. The company's website also includes a comprehensive FAQ section, which can be a quick resource for common questions about loans, terms, and application processes.

Regarding availability, the support team can be reached during business hours, ensuring timely responses to customer queries. This support extends beyond just loan application queries; they also guide loan management and repayment strategies.

Besides direct customer support, ExploreCredit.com offers financial advice and recommendations. They encourage responsible borrowing and advise customers to consider short-term loans only for urgent financial needs. For those facing credit difficulties, the company suggests seeking credit counseling. This approach demonstrates their commitment to lending, ensuring that borrowers are well-informed and making sound financial decisions.

Security and Privacy Policies

ExploreCredit.com takes customer security and privacy seriously. Their privacy policy outlines the types of personal information they collect, including personally identifiable and non-personally identifiable information (like demographic details and interaction data).

They emphasize protecting this information with robust security measures, including computer safeguards and secured files and buildings, compliant with Federal Trade Commission regulations. Is Explorecredit safe? Yes. The company ensures the use of physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards (virus protection software, firewalls, 128-bit Secure Socket Layer) to protect personal information. Only authorized employees have access to this information.

They also inform customers about their data-sharing practices and offer opt-out procedures for those who wish to limit sharing or communications from the company. For California residents, ExploreCredit.com provides additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know, access, and delete their personal information and opt out of the "sale" of their personal information.
