    Flying with Delta for what

Flying with Delta for what should have been a smooth trip was a bit of a letdown. I mean, they’ve been around for 100 years, right? So you'd think they’ve got things like food sorted out by now. But nope, they ran out of vegetarian meals pretty quick, and the special halal options vanished too. It was kinda disappointing to see that on a long-haul flight. I get that things happen, but not having enough meals for everyone feels like a basic thing to manage. Anyway, besides the meal hiccup, everything else was fairly standard. Hopefully, they can sort it out before my next trip.

On my flight from Florida to LGA yesterday

On my flight from Florida to LGA yesterday, I had a bad experience with a female representative. When my sister couldn’t recall her seat number and mentioned she hadn’t been given one, the representative reacted very harshly. She raised her voice and shouted at my sister, saying, “WHY ARE YOU SITTING THERE?! YOU CAN’T SIT THERE!” This could have been handled in a much calmer manner. My sister paid for the flight, so why was she treated that way? The seat she was sitting in belonged to my mother, who didn’t come, and Delta refused to refund the cost of the seat. The representative didn’t need to speak to my sister so rudely. It felt as if my sister did something really wrong, but all she did was sit in an empty seat. To Delta’s owners, please ensure your staff are polite, even when they’re stressed.

Following the worldwide tech issue, my family

Following the worldwide tech issue, my family ended up stranded in Boston (original flight was Saturday) and didn’t depart until Tuesday. The Tuesday flight from Boston to Minneapolis (with a stopover for Alaska) faced a 1-hour delay due to mechanical issues. On Saturday, I tried to reach Delta and waited on hold for almost 7 hours. Eventually, I went to Logan airport and stood in line for over 2 hours. I was informed that they couldn’t issue a refund, and only Delta could handle that. There was also no effort to find an alternate flight. You sympathize with the staff, but come on Delta, improve in these tough times.

I had a bit of a rough time with Delta recently. My flight got canceled, which was frustrating enough, but then they asked me to share my thoughts. I figured, why not, right? So, I took the time to explain what happened and how it affected my plans. But guess what? They didn’t bother to respond or even acknowledge what I shared. It felt like talking to a wall. If you’re gonna ask for feedback, at least have the courtesy to listen and respond. Ignoring customers isn’t a great look, and it just leaves a bad taste. I hope they figure out how to handle these things better in the future.

    I was a bit puzzled

I was a bit puzzled by all the negative reviews about Delta. I fly with them a lot—around 6 times a year internationally and even more domestically. My last flight from JFK to LAX to SYD on August 17 had some hiccups. The crew timed out, and we spent 2 hours getting back to the gate because of air traffic. The flight ended up getting canceled, but I wasn’t too surprised. Reading some of the complaints, I feel like many people might not travel as frequently. Sometimes things happen that are out of the airline's control, like security checks or air traffic delays. When the crew times out, I know to call Delta right away and get rebooked. It’s all about being proactive. I’m a Diamond Medallion member, so maybe that helps, but honestly, if you keep an eye out and know what to expect, flying can be a smoother experience. Delta's had its ups and downs, but overall, they’re pretty solid.

Flying with Delta was a game changer for me and my family. We used to deal with unfriendly service and lost bags on other airlines, but Delta was like a breath of fresh air. Right from the start, they kept us updated and check-in was a breeze. Our flight from Atlanta to New York was stress-free, with a clean cabin and a crew that was genuinely friendly and professional. When we arrived in New York, the Delta staff helped us at baggage claim. I thought I'd lost my luggage, but they quickly found it and brought it to me. Even when our return flight had a small delay, Delta kept everyone updated, which was reassuring. The smooth return flight sealed the deal for me. Delta’s all about respect, comfort, and making sure their passengers are happy. They've got a customer for life in me.

    Huge thanks to everyone involved!

I gotta tell you about this wild experience we had with Delta. So, we were flying out of Springfield, MO (SGF) to Atlanta (ATL) for a cruise in Panama. Mid-flight, my husband realizes he left his passport back at the SGF airport. Total panic mode, right? We thought our trip was ruined. But then, the Delta crew in both SGF and ATL totally stepped up. With help from our travel agent, the ATL Delta desk supervisor, and even the Captain of the next flight from SGF, they managed to retrieve his passport and fly it over to ATL. The Captain himself handed it to us when we landed. We were so relieved and grateful! Delta really went the extra mile for us. Huge thanks to everyone involved!

    Flying with Delta is like

Flying with Delta is like stepping into a second home. From the moment you board, whether you're in economy or Delta One, the experience feels luxurious. The entertainment options are awesome, with a wide selection of TV shows, movies, games, and music to keep you entertained throughout the flight. Plus, there's no shortage of food and drink options, catering to all tastes. I genuinely recommend Delta for anyone looking for a pleasant flying experience. We're heading from SLC to JFK this Friday, and we couldn't be more excited. Just a tip—steer clear of American Airlines. They once gave my dad an expired cookie, and that's not cool. Delta, on the other hand, never disappoints!

    Flight got messed up because

Flight got messed up because of weather—first delayed, then completely canceled. Delta stepped up, though, and handed out meal and hotel vouchers. Didn't end up using them, but still, nice gesture. The real win was on the plane. Service was surprisingly good, way better than what I’ve experienced elsewhere. The crew was friendly, attentive, and made sure we were all comfortable throughout the flight. Honestly, it made the whole ordeal a bit more bearable. You kind of expect chaos when flights get canceled, but they handled it well. Definitely made me rethink how I feel about Delta. Way to turn a frustrating situation into something a bit more positive.

Delta's service was honestly a breath of fresh air

You know, flying can be a real hassle sometimes, right? But my recent experience with Delta at Dublin airport totally turned things around for me. After a nightmare with JetBlue, the Delta staff were like angels. There was this guy, Brian or Paul, who was working the morning shift on the 28th near the check-in desk, and he was just the nicest person. Really helped calm my nerves. The flight itself? Really good! Comfy seats, a fantastic selection of movies, and the snacks were top-notch. I don’t get why people give them low ratings. Maybe they should read the terms and conditions first. Delta's service was honestly a breath of fresh air. Thanks, Delta!

    Flying Delta as a regular

Flying Delta as a regular traveler has been consistently great for me. The flight crew always seems really attentive and friendly. On international trips, I try to book Delta One whenever possible, and it's always a treat. The comfort and service makes the journey enjoyable every time. I’ve never had to worry much about costs when choosing Delta, so I can't say how it is for budget travelers. But from my perspective, the experience has been top-notch. The seats are comfy, and they do a good job of making sure passengers are taken care of. Overall, Delta's service is something I look forward to each time I fly, making every trip more pleasant.

    You know, everyone keeps ragging

You know, everyone keeps ragging on Delta, but honestly, I had a pretty decent experience. The cabin was clean, which is always a plus, and I had just enough legroom to feel comfortable. The seats could recline well enough, so I managed to catch a bit of sleep. The in-flight entertainment was alright—not amazing, but it did the job for a few hours. What really stood out, though, was the air conditioning; it kept the cabin nice and cool throughout the flight. And, let me tell you, the flight attendant was super friendly, always smiling and ready to help. Overall, it was a solid flight and I really don't get what all the fuss is about.

Flying with Delta is always a solid choice for me. I just don't get why their ratings are low here. Most of the hiccups seem out of their hands, and honestly, they treat their frequent flyers pretty well. They're committed to giving us what we pay for: speedy, safe, and comfy journeys without the hassle. When people complain, I wonder if they’d prefer a cross-country trip by horse and buggy or running an airline themselves. Seriously, when you step back and see the value Delta offers, it’s pretty impressive. They've consistently met my expectations, and I'll keep choosing them for my travels.

We had a nightmare at Liberia airport in Costa Rica. KLM, who we booked with, changed our flight back to the UK to include a connection in Atlanta. They never told us we’d need an ESTA American Visa for that. At the airport, we applied for the visa but didn’t get it in time. KLM was just awful and refused to help us. We spent 6 hours stuck, trying to figure things out. Then, out of nowhere, a Delta supervisor showed up and worked some magic on his computer. He got us the same tickets for that day without any extra cost. Total lifesaver! Delta’s got my heart now. Big shoutout to them!

Flying with Delta can be a mixed bag, but my recent trip from Denver to CVG was surprisingly pleasant. I know they get a lot of flak when things go south, but this time they nailed it. The crew based out of New York were just fantastic. Despite the usual travel hiccups like weather and plane issues, they really went out of their way to make the experience better. As someone who's on the go a lot, I gotta say, Delta's kinda my go-to airline now. Lately, it feels like service everywhere is just tanking, but Delta's still got it. Sure, things aren't always perfect—delays happen, stuff breaks—but they deal with it better than most. Their planes? Way cleaner. And the crew? Super friendly and professional, which is a lifesaver on those long hauls. Delta's bailed me out more times than I can count, really going above and beyond. If you travel a lot like me, these guys are pretty solid and definitely a step ahead of the rest.

The staff were super friendly, and the food was actually decent, which is not something you can say for most flights. The plane was clean, and the seats were comfortable enough for a long haul. Flying with Delta has been an awesome experience for me. I've been sticking with them for the last 8 years, and they've always been super accommodating, especially when it comes to traveling with my service dog. My recent trip to Africa in Delta One was nothing short of amazing. I usually fly with other airlines, but recently I've been giving Delta a shot again and it's been a mixed bag. A few years back, I bailed on Delta when they outsourced a bunch of stuff to India, but now they've brought it all back to the U.S., which is a good move. I had a great couple of trips between Boston and L.A. Everything was smooth, and the Sky Club at LAX really stood out. However, my experience flying from Boston to Savannah was another story. The check-in line was insane—only a couple of agents, and it felt like they were cutting corners. The Sky Club in Boston didn’t impress me either; the food was disappointing. But on the way back from Savannah, a Delta employee named Karen really turned things around. Her helpfulness and friendliness reminded me of what Delta used to be. Overall, Delta can be great, but consistency is key.

    Flying from JFK to Prague

Flying from JFK to Prague on the Boeing 767 300ER in business class was not what I expected. The seats were too tight, especially when trying to lie flat for some sleep. My back was sore from the hard seats, and the so-called massage feature was useless. Instead of private pods, it was more open seating, which I didn’t prefer. The entertainment system was a letdown too. The monitor was tiny and far away, and I couldn't scroll through the listings. I mentioned it to the staff, and they said they could fix it, but nothing happened. For the money spent, I was hoping for a better experience. Honestly, if you're planning an overnight flight on this Delta plane, think twice. It's not worth the price.
