They took my money for a card reader linked

They took my money for a card reader linked to an account I can't access. When I asked for a refund, I got tons of excuses and a list of 15 wrong phone numbers. One number they gave was for a vacation hotline to close my account! Another time, they sent me to a different card company that has nothing to do with them. If you’re using this service, keep an eye on your account. They will take your money and refuse to return it, giving endless excuses.

I’ve written a bad review before and got one of those robot responses asking me to email "clienthelp..." I already tried that before my first review and all I got back were links to a pointless Help page. They don’t seem to understand. If you cut corners on customer support, your ratings won’t ever improve.

    Thanks for everything!

When I first saw the Clover machine at a trade show, I knew it was something special. The vendor made it look so simple to use. Back at my store, I told my manager to check it out. She did, and we met with David Steinberg, the rep. David was fantastic—answered every question and guided us through the setup. Switching to Clover has been a game-changer for our small business. With often just one sales clerk, it has sped up customer checkouts significantly. My team loves it! David’s support has been incredible, always available—even on vacation. This level of service is rare. We’re thrilled with both David and the Clover system. Thanks for everything! Mary Etta Yoder, Owner Glamour, Glitter, Glitz

    When I launched my private

When I launched my private acupuncture practice, home visits were my focus, so finding a reliable card reader was crucial. Luckily, I stumbled upon the Clover POS system. It’s super easy to use, whether I'm connected through SIM or WiFi, which means I can process payments practically anywhere. The low interest rate was a nice surprise, but what really stood out was the support I got. Roy, our local agent, was an absolute lifesaver. He guided me through every step, making sure everything ran smoothly. It’s not just about the technology; it's about feeling supported too. If you're in the market for a trustworthy payment solution, I can't recommend Clover enough.

    Cool!

You know, I was a bit skeptical at first, trying out this new platform. But, wow, was I surprised! It's like they read my mind. Everything's straightforward and easy to navigate. I click a button and bam—reports right there, no waiting around. And let me tell you, I’ve had enough of those platforms that nickel and dime you with fees for just about everything under the sun. No monthly fees, no annual fees, none of those weird charges that pop up out of nowhere. It's such a breath of fresh air compared to others I’ve used. Honestly, it's a relief to find something that doesn’t feel like it's trying to sneak into my wallet when I'm not looking.

I've been using Clover for a while now, and let me tell ya, it's been a game-changer for my business. From the get-go, they were there every step of the way, right from setting things up to making sure I got the hang of everything. I've dealt with other POS systems before, and honestly, they just didn’t cut it. But Clover? Totally different story. Their team made sure I was comfortable and confident, and now everything runs like clockwork. If I ever hit a snag, they’re just a call away, which is super reassuring. I genuinely feel like they care about making things work for me. It’s like having a partner rather than just a service.

    Being a small business owner

Being a small business owner, finding a cost-effective way to handle payments was a big deal for me, and Fiserv turned out to be just what I needed. Their low-cost credit card processing is a real lifesaver. What I really appreciate is the option to offer ACH payments to my customers. It's not just about credit cards anymore, and having that flexibility is a huge win. The deposits show up in my account faster than I expected, which is awesome when you're managing a tight cash flow. It’s not often you find a service that fits your needs without breaking the bank. Overall, Fiserv has been a solid choice for my business.

I recently started using this service, and it's been really straightforward. My personal rep is great, always there to help out and super quick with replies. The app's user-friendly, and everything works just like they promised. I never had to worry about my funds; they were always accessible when I needed them. It's refreshing to have a service that actually delivers on its promises. No hidden surprises, just smooth sailing. If you want something reliable and easy to manage, this is it. Makes managing finances way less stressful. It's been a real game-changer for me, and I couldn't be happier with how it's all going.

Using SKU IQ was a game-changer for me. I remember first diving in, feeling a bit overwhelmed, but their team was incredibly friendly and patient. They actually took the time to guide me step-by-step instead of just sending me a link and leaving me to figure it out alone. It felt like having a personal coach beside me. Partnered with Clover, it's like my workload just got cut in half. Managing tasks became a breeze and it saved me so much time. In today’s fast-paced business environment, that’s huge. If you're looking for something to make your life easier, I'd definitely say give them both a try.

Running a tiny business from home isn’t easy, but Clover has been a game-changer for me. My product is seasonal, and I only sell it five to six months a year, so finding a payment solution that fits was crucial. With Clover's online Virtual Terminal, I can accept major credit cards without a hitch, and the fees are lower because of my small-scale operation. Honestly, I wouldn't be able to do business without them. If you're in a similar situation and need a reliable way to handle payments, definitely give Clover a look. It’s been a lifesaver for my little home-based business.

    Running a small florist shop

Running a small florist shop in a tiny town comes with its challenges, especially when it comes to fees. We always tried to avoid passing those costs to our customers, but it used to hurt our profits. Now, the fees are much more manageable and don't eat into our earnings as much. Big shoutout to Evan Stanfield from customer support—he was incredible! Evan made everything so smooth and was super helpful. It felt like chatting with a good friend rather than dealing with a company. This change has been such a relief for us, and we're really grateful for the support we received.

I've had Clover POS for a few years and honestly, it's been great. Everything runs smoothly and consistently. Whenever I run into issues, I get connected to a real person almost immediately, and they're always super helpful. It’s like having a supportive team on standby. The system itself is user-friendly and really reliable. Compared to other systems I’ve tried, Clover just stands out. It’s comforting knowing I can rely on it for my business needs without stress. Overall, it’s been a really positive experience and I can't see myself switching to anything else.

Big shoutout to Jason and the whole Clover crew!

Back in May 2024, I set up an account with Clover and got to chat with this awesome guy, Jason Sheridan. Fast forward to July 2025, I needed to reopen my account and was a bit worried it might be a hassle. But guess what? I still had Jason's number from way back, so I gave it a ring. Had to leave a voicemail, but he got back to me in no time. Within just 10 minutes, I was all set to use my Clover device again. It's amazing how smooth they make the whole process, even for folks like me who don't do tons of sales. Big shoutout to Jason and the whole Clover crew!

I've been using the Clover Dashboard for a while now, and I gotta say, it’s super user-friendly and simple to get around. The Virtual Terminal is a real game changer too. It's so handy and lets me chat with customers while they wait for their email receipts. This little interaction makes the whole process feel more personal, and I believe it really helps in encouraging them to come back. It's like, instead of just being a transaction, it becomes a small, meaningful exchange. Really happy with how it’s working out for us.

I've been using Clover for over a year now and I gotta say, it’s super user friendly and setting it up was a breeze. Tracking daily sales is so easy, it really helps with managing inventory. Tax season is less stressful too, thanks to all the organized data. But, the customer service could use some work. My last call with them was almost a year ago and it wasn’t the best experience. Nowadays, I just go through my local bank for questions since they know us and it's way quicker. Overall, pretty happy with Clover, but wish their support was better.

    I've been using the Clover

I've been using the Clover platform for my coffee shop for a while now. Initially, things were smooth, but recently, their rewards program has been a mess. At the start of the year, customers weren't getting their points because of issues. We set up our system to give $5 rewards after 60 points, but suddenly, the software started giving 10 points per dollar spent. So, a customer spending $14 got 140 points instead of 14, causing them to earn rewards too quickly. In one day, we lost $95 in unearned rewards. Over three weeks, it added up to around $1000. We had to turn off the rewards program as a result. I suspect many other retailers are facing the same problem, but it's tough to notice. We've shown Clover the issue, but I'm not hopeful they'll fix our losses.

    I signed up with Clover

I signed up with Clover because their rates were decent, but things went south the moment I had an issue. Calling customer service was a nightmare, always taking at least 20 minutes. When my company moved last year, changing the address with Clover was a real headache. They insisted on a utility bill as proof, even though I had just moved and didn’t have one yet. They wouldn’t accept a landlord letter or an HMRC document. Important papers were still sent to my old address until I could show a utility bill, which took months. Dealing with different reps every time and their so-called "personal concierge" was useless. Canceling my policy was another mess; I was overcharged by £200 and had to dispute it. They even took another month’s fee after my final invoice. Their PCI compliance process has become overly complicated too, unless you pay them £15.99 a month to handle it. I gave them 2 stars because they're fine until you need support. Switched to a new provider with better rates and local support. Sorry Clover, but poor service loses customers.

    I've been running my small

I've been running my small business for nearly 30 years, and my experience with Clover has been quite the rollercoaster. While their equipment works well, their customer service is a mess. My current Clover setup, which I got just three years ago, is now considered outdated, and they wanted to charge me $3,874 for new equipment! After some haggling, they dropped the price to $2,174, but it still felt like a rip-off. I decided to look elsewhere and found a deal where I could get the latest equipment for just $900 after a rebate. When I called to cancel my Clover service, they suddenly offered me free equipment but insisted I was still on the hook for a year-long lease and early cancellation fees. This is not how you treat loyal customers. Over the past three years, I’ve paid enough to buy multiple machines. Clover really needs to fix this mess.

I run a cozy little B&B and needed a merchant account for credit card payments. Thought it'd be smooth sailing with Clover/FiServ since I used them before, but man, was I wrong. Gotta give a shoutout to Bradley Carey in sales, though. He was super professional and patient, handling my frustration like a pro. After nearly six weeks and endless back-and-forth with the underwriting team, I finally got my merchant ID. It was like pulling teeth, seriously. They kept asking for more info, every few days, like clockwork. Why not just list everything needed upfront? It’s nuts! On the bright side, their customer service seems better now—they actually pick up calls and reply to emails, which is a step up from the past.

Bought a business with a Clover system, expected an easy transfer. Instead, John the salesman sends me a new system, messes up the purchase with someone else’s lease deal. Ended up getting charged for both - overdrafted my account twice! Reached out to John, he promised a call tag for refunds, but two months later, nothing. Customer service is a nightmare too. Spoke to Jervis, who wouldn't even let me finish a sentence. He rattled off numbers to call, so fast I couldn’t keep up. Frustrating beyond words. I’m switching to a different point of sale system after this mess. Don’t recommend Clover if you want decent customer service!

    Clover's terminals look nice

Clover's terminals look nice, but dealing with their customer service is a nightmare. It's like they designed it to be confusing on purpose. You call one person, they tell you to call another, then you need to email someone else for a code, and by the time you’ve talked to three different people, you still haven't gotten anywhere. It’s so frustrating. Plus, their terminals are really limited in what they can do unless you pay extra for apps. They seem more interested in making money off these extras than actually helping their customers. My experience with Clover has been one of endless runarounds and feeling exploited.

    I went into business thinking

I went into business thinking I had everything figured out, but then came the whole Clover ordeal. The hardware seemed decent enough, but the credit card processing fees hit me like a ton of bricks—5% is just outrageous. And the lease? $150 a month for 48 months is just crazy. I thought leasing would be easier, but getting out of that contract is nearly impossible without shelling out a ton of cash. They really don't make it easy. My advice? Stay far, far away from Clover. If you're starting a business, buy your own POS system. Trust me, you'll thank yourself later.

You know, dealing with their service has been one of the most frustrating experiences ever. I've literally spent hours on hold, trying to sort out issues that have cost me thousands in potential sales. It feels like they just don't care. They say they're sorry, but actions speak louder than words, right? They're not just expensive; they're a complete mess. I've been complaining for ages about sales tax issues with their third-party integrations, and they just kept denying it. Finally, I had to pull in my third-party contact to prove it was their fault. That was a month ago, and guess what? Still no response. They rolled out these new service plans without any clear descriptions—just higher prices. I ended up with this so-called "essential plan" that’s pretty much useless. I couldn’t print orders or receipts, or even process online orders properly. As a small business owner, I relied on them for accurate data and support, but they’ve let me down big time. If you’re thinking about using them, seriously, look elsewhere. They need to realize that we’re partners and deserve respect, no matter how small our business might be.

    Dealing with Clover is nightmare

Ugh, dealing with Clover has been a nightmare for my small biz. Over the last few weeks, I've had seven chargebacks from customers I totally trust. Talked to each one, and they all said they didn't do it and had no idea what was going on. These folks still support my business, so it's clearly not on them. But Clover? Their customer service is a mess. I've gotten all sorts of conflicting reasons about why this is happening, and they’re saying I violated policies without even explaining how. I've been with them for six months, never had issues before. Instead of fixing things or refunding the money, they just keep stalling with vague answers. It feels super shady and unprofessional. I’ve found other biz owners online with the same problems, so it’s not just me. I work hard to keep my customers happy and trust Clover is just not worth it. I’m planning to file a complaint with Consumer Affairs and other agencies to warn other small businesses.

    I went to this company

I went to this company 'cause other small businesses recommended it. My previous company had a credit card terminal skimming money, so I switched to Clover POS. After 8 months, I found out Clover POS was also taking my money through their Rapid Deposit account. They took back $4,562.09 after initial deposits, plus added crazy processing fees! Their system has a glitch charging both me and my customers. I've spent countless hours trying to resolve this, talking to customer service, tech support, and legal, but no one helps. I’ve been hung up on, transferred to useless automated systems, and forced to repeat my story to 15 different people. Meanwhile, customers got charged, and my business lost money. Where did it go? Not to me. I'm filing a class action lawsuit with other affected businesses. I have all the proof of these fraudulent transactions.

Using Clover POS has been quite a headache since we started in mid-2024. The system itself functions, but the costs are just too steep compared to SumUp, which we also use and process more money through. The pricing just doesn’t seem right for small businesses like ours. The onboarding was a real letdown. I was assured by Gavin, the rep, that the paperwork wasn’t a contract. Later, I found out I was stuck in a four-year deal. Yeah, I should’ve read the fine print better, but feeling misled stings. When I raised issues, it felt like they were more interested in sticking to their guns than actually helping out. Communication basically stopped when I showed I wasn't happy. For anyone thinking about Clover, read every single line and look into other options, especially if you're using systems like SumUp that are easier on the wallet.

    I've been running my businesses

I've been running my businesses for over two decades, and switching from Square to Clover was a decision I deeply regret. The sales rep painted a rosy picture with promises of rapid deposits and easy cash advances, mirroring Square's services. But once I signed up, it was a whole different story. Their "instant transfer" isn't available for new customers, something they conveniently omit. Even when it supposedly "works," the amounts available for deposit are erratic and inconsistent. Applying for cash advances is a nightmare, filled with errors and unnecessary hoops. It’s like dealing with a disorganized small-time operation rather than a reputed company. Every time I call for clarification, I get vague responses. Honestly, it's been a frustrating experience, and I wish I had done my homework before signing up. Avoid them.
