    I just got hit with

I just got hit with a £100 charge for a quick 5-minute drop off at Manchester airport, and I can't believe it! There were no signs, no barriers, nothing to let me know I'd be charged. I mean, I was ready to pay whatever was needed, but how's anyone supposed to figure that out when there's zero indication? It's like they set a trap and just waited for people to fall into it. Feels like a total rip-off, like they're just out to grab money from unsuspecting folks. I'm definitely going to challenge this. Can't let them get away with such sneaky tactics!

    Having to pay for parking

Having to pay for parking turned into a real hassle. The card machine wasn’t working, so I had to use the scan pay option, which came with an extra convenience fee. The process took forever, and I ended up missing my train even though I had allowed plenty of time. These so-called convenient payment methods are anything but—they just seem like a way to squeeze more money out of customers. Frustrated and disappointed, but what choice do I have at GWR stations? It feels like they're taking advantage of us because they know we don't have other options.

    It was a frustrating experience

Last Saturday, I parked at the Apcoa car park in Terenure Place around 6:30 PM. Since parking becomes free after 7 PM, I only paid for an hour through the app. When I returned to my car at 10 PM, it was clamped. I called the company and they informed me that, although I had paid, I was in the wrong car park. Apparently, the correct car park is about 20 meters around a corner and is considered an extension of the one I was in. I really wish I had read the reviews before using this service. It was a frustrating experience. - Eamon Downey, Rathfarnham

    I’ve had such a rough

I’ve had such a rough time with this parking company. My university decided to use them for campus parking, and it's been a nightmare. Within a year, I got slapped with 10 fines, and I had even paid for parking on some of those days! One fine even got me a letter from a debt collector, which is just crazy. The signs in the parking lot are super confusing, and I know a lot of parents and visitors who've been fined too. It just feels so wrong for a university to work with a company like this, especially when they send debt collectors after students.

    I parked my van outside

I parked my van outside a house I was working on, right at the end of a dead-end street. It had a restricted yellow line, but come on, a bit of common sense wouldn't hurt. How can these people live with themselves, giving out tickets left and right without any consideration? It's like they're completely missing the point of what "common sense" means. Maybe if they spent a day in someone else's shoes, they'd get it. But no, they just stick to their rule book and ignore the reality of situations. It's really frustrating and feels incredibly unfair.

    I had the worst experience

I had the worst experience with this company. I used the Apcoa app to pay for parking, but accidentally used my old car's registration number. I thought it would be an easy fix, just show them my bank statement proving I paid. But no, they still fined me £60! Even after I paid £7 for a whole day's parking. It’s ridiculous. How can they get away with this? You’d think they’d have a bit more understanding, but nope. I’m so frustrated and feel completely ripped off. Can't believe Trading Standards lets them do this. Stay away if you can, seriously.

    I had a horrible experience

I had a horrible experience with APOCA. They hit me with a parking fine even though I had paid the correct amount at Lewes Station Car Park. It's been such a hassle trying to get this sorted out, and I've been at it since February. There's no easy way to resolve the issue, which is super frustrating. They really need to improve their customer service and make things right when they mess up. This whole situation has been a nightmare, and I wouldn't recommend dealing with them at all. It's just been one problem after another with no end in sight.

    I just had a bizarre

I just had a bizarre experience at Luton Airport. You wouldn't believe the parking setup they've got going on. They advertise a quick £5 for 5 minutes, but it's a total trap. You pull up, expecting to just pay and go, but nope. You have to leave your car and line up at some machine. By the time you're done, you've blown way more time and money than planned. It feels like they’re just trying to squeeze every penny out of you. It's annoying and definitely not what I expected. Just a heads up if you're heading there soon—prepare to be frustrated!

    headache

Was at Manchester Airport recently, and let me tell ya, the experience was not great. They've done away with the payment terminals, which was a huge hassle. I had to pay a £5 drop-off fee but missed the window by just a few hours. Imagine my shock when I got hit with a £100 fine! They said it could be reduced to £60 if I paid in two weeks, but still, that's way too much. If they had asked for £5 or even £10, it would have been reasonable. Feels like a total rip-off. All I want is to pay my drop-off fee as I'm leaving without this headache.

    You know what happened the

You know what happened the other day? My car just decided to give up in an Apcoa car park. Total disaster. Had to download their app just to sort out a ticket. So, I call a tow truck and head back to my car, only to find a ticket on the ground. Like, where was the ticket guy? Anyway, I paid for a whole day even though my car got towed in like 20 minutes. Tried to appeal the ticket, but nope, they weren’t having it. Turns out Apcoa works for Meath county council and who knows who else. They just refused to cancel the fine, no help at all.

I parked at Middleburg Car Park in Folkestone

I parked at Middleburg Car Park in Folkestone and was shocked by the state of the stairwell. It was absolutely filthy, with rubbish everywhere and a terrible smell. It looked like people had been sleeping rough there. Clearly, no effort has been made by APCOA to keep it clean. The signs for pedestrians made it seem like the only way to get to the street was through this disgusting stairwell. I felt really unsafe using it. Honestly, it was quite an unpleasant experience, and I won't be using that car park again unless they clean it up.

    What a mess!

Man, what a mess! I went to Castle Hill Hospital recently and had a nightmare with the parking. Tried to fill in my details online for the free disabled parking, but the page just vanished into thin air. Hospital staff said I could get a free day, but when I checked the machine, there was a charge staring back at me. Just gave up and paid it, feeling totally ripped off. It's like they're trying to profit off people who are already having a tough time. Seriously, someone needs to fix this system before more folks get taken for a ride!

    I tried using this parking

I tried using this parking app and, let me tell you, it was an absolute nightmare. I mean, I’d rather deal with a bank teller and old parking meters than this. First, the app kept crashing. Then, it took forever to load. When I finally got through, it wouldn't accept my payment. I had to keep re-entering my info, and it still didn't work. Seriously, it was so frustrating. I wasted so much time and energy just trying to park my car. They really need to fix this mess. Until then, I'll stick to coins and old meters. At least they work.

    So I used Luton Airport

So I used Luton Airport Drop Off on February 9th and paid the £5 fee online a few hours later. Their system recognized my parking, processed the payment, and sent me a confirmation email. But the email had the wrong timestamp. A week later, I got a penalty notice from APCOA claiming I hadn't paid. It honestly feels like a scam. Also, there's no way to talk to a real person. I submitted an appeal online, but there's really nothing to appeal—APCOA just messed up. Avoid if you can. And if you pay online, take a screenshot just in case.

    I tried using this app

I tried using this app to plan my week, but it's a nightmare. You can't buy tickets in advance, which means remembering to do it every day. Annoying! Plus, it only remembers your last purchase. If you bought a ticket for one day last time, you can't just change it to three days. You have to start from scratch, find the same car park, select your car again - it's ridiculous. Feels like it was designed by someone who's never used an app before. There are better options out there, like RingGo. Apcoa really needs to step up their game!

    Booked parking at The Bridgewater

Booked parking at The Bridgewater Hall on Little Peter St for £8 around lunchtime. When I got there, the place was packed. Talked to the attendant, he basically said it's a gamble if you find a spot. Cars were circling like vultures. After waiting 10-15 minutes, we had to leave since we had a lunch reservation. Checked the Apcoa site later, and no refunds if you can't find a space. How is it even legal to charge for parking when there's no guarantee? Super frustrating and a waste of money. Definitely won't be using APCOA again.

    I parked at Leeds City

I parked at Leeds City Station and used the app to confirm my parking. It told me it was free and I could leave. But then, surprise, a hefty fine shows up at my doorstep. Their customer service? Absolutely terrible. Tried to explain the situation, but they were no help at all. I'm not paying this fine, no way. They should fix their app instead of punishing users for their mistakes. It's really frustrating dealing with a company that doesn't take responsibility for their own tech issues. Definitely won't be using this app again.

Had quite the evening with Apcoa. Came back from a night out and my car was clamped 'cause I forgot to pay for parking. Called up customer service and this super friendly lady told me I needed to pay 120€. Paid it smoothly, and within half an hour, a cheerful guy showed up to declamp my car, even though it was really late. He was super friendly and even asked how I was doing. Honestly, the whole process was hassle-free and everyone seemed to really enjoy their job. Definitely a great experience, and I’d recommend them for sure!

I parked my car and used their app like usual, but something went wrong this time. The app made it seem like my payment went through, but later I found out it didn’t. I showed them proof I tried to pay and that I’ve never missed a payment before, but they just didn’t care at all. They were totally unhelpful and unsympathetic. I can't believe they didn’t even try to understand or fix the issue. I'm so frustrated and definitely won’t be using their car parks again. I recently had the most frustrating experience with APCOA. I drove to one of their parking facilities to charge my electric vehicle, only to find out the charging equipment was faulty. To make matters worse, I got a penalty parking notice. I tried explaining the situation to APCOA, hoping they'd understand and refund me. But no, they wouldn't budge. I ended up wasting both my time and money. Honestly, it's just not worth the hassle dealing with them. If you're considering using their services, I'd strongly advise against it.

I had a terrible experience with this parking provider. It's like they're setting traps for drivers! When I parked, there was no clear way to pay, which was super frustrating. Then, instead of sending me a penalty charge notice, they went straight to a debt collection agency, claiming they didn’t know my address. Funny how the debt company managed to find me though! It feels really unfair and sneaky. I’m not the only one who thinks this either. It’s just bad business and really stressful for customers. Avoid if you can.

I lent my car to my daughter and she got a parking ticket. She had actually paid for the parking, so she sent them proof from her bank statement. They said they'd cancel the ticket, but they didn't. Instead, they sent the debt collectors after me, since the car is in my name. Now, my credit rating is wrecked, and they’re even going after my daughter. I’ve explained the situation multiple times, but they just won’t listen. This whole ordeal has been a nightmare. I had a frustrating experience

I had a frustrating experience with this car park company. I asked for a photo from their ANPR system showing me leaving the car park after a quick three-minute drop off. They said there might have been a technical glitch, but somehow, they managed to capture me leaving 12 hours later after a pick up. It feels like they're just trying to squeeze money out of you. Be cautious with these private car parks, they might not play fair. It’s annoying when you’re just trying to do something simple and end up getting hassled.

It's super frustrating dealing with the Three Bridges car park. I’ve got a season ticket, and sometimes I show up to find it closed for engineering work. It's like buying something online and the store deciding not to send it to you. Paid for parking but no spot? That's just wrong. And they never compensate for those days it's shut, even though I paid for a guaranteed spot. Feels like they can get away with it because there's no real competition. More folks need to talk about this, maybe then they'll fix their act.

I was trying to register with Appcoa, and suddenly noticed a £1 charge from some random company called beboks.com on my bank statement. I didn't even know who they were. Couple of days later, they tried to take another £39.99! That’s when I freaked out and immediately cancelled my card. Thankfully, my bank was super supportive and helped me raise a fraud complaint. After a lot of hassle

After a lot of hassle trying to understand Apcoa's systems, we finally managed to register and give them our licence plate and card details. Parked our car all day at Folkestone West, thinking the £2.50 payment would be handled automatically. Came back to find a Penalty Notice for £100 (or £60 if paid early). Seriously, what’s the deal here? If late payment is supposedly an option, why wasn’t it available? I'm planning to call them, but looking at past reviews, my hopes aren’t high. This company is just awful.

I parked in a 30-minute zone for 34 minutes because my friend's train was late. Later, I got a £50 penalty notice on Christmas Eve, but didn’t get it until after 14 days due to the holidays. By then, the fine had increased to £85. Ridiculous! That’s like £21.50 per extra minute. It took them 12 days to issue the ticket from the 12th of December. I feel like they sent it out on Christmas Eve on purpose so most people would end up paying the higher amount. This is just a money-making scheme and really unfair.

Last night, after a fun evening out in London, I was heading back home on the last train. I parked with Apcoa, and their parking supposedly expires at 3:59 AM. So, imagine my surprise when at 11:50 PM, I get this text saying my parking is almost up and asking if I wanna extend it. Seriously? They're just trying to trick me into paying twice for the same parking spot! It's like they hope you’ll panic and pay again without realizing. Super frustrating and a bit sneaky if you ask me. Visited the area and thought I had 2 hours of free parking, but guess what? Parked in the wrong row without realizing. Was gone for like a few minutes, and boom, my car got clamped. Only then did I spot these tiny blue signs on the other side of the lot saying it’s private. Seriously, it should’ve been way clearer.
