    I got a penalty notice

I got a penalty notice for parking in Leatherhead, accused of paying "too late." But I bought the ticket way before leaving the car park and followed all the rules posted on the tariff board. Instead of an apology, I got this patronizing letter saying they'd cancel the penalty this time but warned me it wouldn’t happen again. Seriously? That’s just rude and disrespectful. Their customer service is awful. If I had any other option, I’d never use their parking facilities again. Total letdown!

Government needs to step in and stop this

I went to visit my grandmother in the hospital recently and was shocked by the parking fees. £30 a day just to park my car? It's ridiculous. I’m there worrying about my grandma's health, and then I get hit with this massive charge. Felt like they're taking advantage of people in a really tough spot. Really think this should be illegal. It's stressful enough without having to think about getting fined or paying so much just to be close to family. Government needs to step in and stop this.

I’m a college student and parked my car at 7pm to unload groceries. Totally forgot to pay for parking until 6:30am the next day. Realized too late that my car had been clamped. Paid the parking fee for the days, which is already crazy expensive for a student. Still, I got hit with a €125 charge to remove the clamp. Felt like a total rip-off. I mean, I was just trying to get my groceries in, not dodge parking fees. This company is just unfair. Wouldn't recommend them at all.

    Tried to sign up for

Tried to sign up for the app to book parking at our local train station. Total nightmare. Three times I requested a code via text, but nothing ever came through. How is anyone supposed to deal with this? I'm definitely not going to stand in a dark car park, freaking out about missing my train because the system is broken. Ended up leaving the car on a random street and walking to the station. So frustrating and honestly, it shouldn't be this hard. Fix your system, please!

    I parked at the Reading

I parked at the Reading Train Station car park last Friday afternoon, thinking it would be convenient. Came back the next day, just 23 hours later, and was shocked to find a £35 charge. The signs made it look like 24-hour parking was straightforward, but turns out the rates change between weekdays and weekends. It's really confusing and feels like a rip-off. They definitely need clearer information. Won't be using this car park again.

I got hit with a £50 fine even after paying for my parking ticket in cash. Problem was, I didn't hang onto my paper ticket for months after. So, I couldn't 'prove' I had displayed it. Their whole argument relied on a photo of my car entering and exiting the lot, no human ever checked. Ended up paying the fine because they threatened to double it to £100 if I didn't. Felt like they were just bullying me into paying up. Total rip-off.

    I had a rough morning

I had a rough morning in Terenure. First, I couldn't park because the machines were down. There was a notice to use the APCOA app, but it took forever to register. After three tries to pay online, I thought it finally worked. Spoiler: it didn’t. Came back to find my car clamped. That cost me 125 euros to fix. And I wasn't the only one—four other cars were clamped too. To top it off, they charge extra to use the app. What a mess.

    I can't believe what happened

I can't believe what happened to me the other night. I paid for parking, but my car still got clamped because of a tiny mistake. They found my receipt in their system, but they wouldn't listen to reason. Lost a whole day at work because of it and couldn't even drive home. Tried calling them at night, but no one picked up. It just seems so unfair, like the punishment didn't fit the crime at all.

    I parked at my usual

I parked at my usual station and quickly clicked 'Buy Again' for parking, trying to catch my train. Didn't realize till later that I'd paid for the other station nearby instead. Tried to appeal, thinking it was an honest mistake, but they rejected it. Honestly, feels like Apcoa just wants to squeeze every penny out of you. Mistakes happen, right? But they don't seem to care.

Ugh, this app is a nightmare. Tried buying parking multiple times but it just wouldn't work. The way you have to enter the date, time, and card info is totally confusing and not user-friendly at all. I got so fed up that I just deleted the app. Now I'm just gonna walk to the train station instead. Total waste of time.

Using this app felt like banging my head against a wall. It almost never works, and I can't even pay with cash when it does. Trying to get help is a joke – nobody answers the phone, and emails take forever. When they finally respond, it's like a kid wrote it or maybe a monkey. Overall, pretty frustrating experience.
