Awful, rude, and arrogant customer service.

Awful, rude, and arrogant customer service. Flight was delayed and when I requested compensation for the delay, they initially blamed another airline. After admitting the delay was their fault, they still didn’t offer any proper compensation, like the ticket price, since I missed their flight due to the delay. Customer service called me at night twice despite my request for email replies, even though they knew I’m not in the USA. Apparently, understanding time zones isn’t common knowledge among their staff. None of their responses matched what I asked. Their replies felt like they were written by a poor AI.

If I could, I'd rate them zero stars. Awful experience on both flights. The one from LAX was more than an hour late. The plane was dirty and the food in first class was bad. The flight back from Providence RI was on one of the tiniest planes we've ever been on. We boarded and there was no AC, so we sat for over 45 minutes in terrible heat and humidity. We haven't taken off yet. Hopefully, it gets better and we make our connection.

Holds, Holds, Holds!! That's all you get when you book with American Airlines. Besides being a major hassle and annoyance, they also lack the basic decency to provide any kind of help! This is the second and final time I'll deal with such poor service from AA. I highly suggest looking for other options!
