I wish Zignature would have used a different meat
by Anonymous

I wish Zignature would have used a different meat to do the review as venison is not the usual choice I would make. In fact, I think that if they would have reviewed the Turkey, you would have seen a better profile of ingredients. Turkey has 2 meats, 2 legumes and a whole lot of other good things for our Yorkshire Terrier. I looked for grain free to avoid an allergy situation. She is 7 and has been on this most of her life. She has a shiny coat, no itching anywhere, 2 stools a day, firm, formed. She is fed 2 times a day and has never had any table food, zero. She does chew on a Beef Bully Stick every day since 9 weeks old. She never chewed anything up. The Bully stick is counted as part of her protein intake as it is pure Protein. She is my Service Dog, groomed by me. The vet said yesterday he has never seen such great plaque-free teeth on a 7-year-old. It is because she eats a high-grade dry dog food, her bully stick only in the evening for 15 minutes, and I brush her teeth 2 x weekly. Her coat is beautiful, shiny. Her Turkey Zignature has 2 great protein base, 2 legumes, and so many other good ingredients like flaxseed, zinc, copper, vitamins, minerals, low glycemic level. Often dog food companies add food coloring to their kibble listed as Caramel, Food coloring, Molasses... this is the stuff that is not necessary. It is for appearance to the buyer, makes it look good, dog does not care. These ingredients can cause some dogs to get the brown eye staining. She has none of this. Her training has taught her even if she walks by a piece of chicken breast, she does nothing but walks past it, She never picks up anything off the floor that she may encounter. She has a full tummy, from her AM Zignature, does not want it. Your dog does not need table food when getting a value, and nutritious Dog Food. She is so very healthy, and has never had any issue. I am completely satisfied with her diet and credit Zignature Turkey to her steady weight, her energy to work & play. I seriously have read the comments and think that those who had an issue must have something else they are feeding (table food, human snacks). I searched through a whole bunch of names of other dog food as the vet said she may need a senior diet after next year due age. I could not believe what is in other dog food!!! After 4 hours looking, reading, I went back to Zignature and they don't have a senior diet as their ingredients are good for senior dogs as well. Enough said. I have to eat gluten-free, so grain especially hard on my intestines. Grains often pack on pounds (carbs) and sugar the inflammatory response in your body. If I could ask for an addition to Zignature it would be some glucosamine, or Q-10. If I could eat this myself I would... and before anyone comments... I am not an employee! I am sheltering in place due to age, since March, only been out for medical issue, blood draw, tests. So since this is not like social media, or the news, I thought I would give a review because Zignature is a quality product.

Zignature's dog food is grain-free and uses a fair bit of named meat meals for protein, scoring 4 stars.

A highly recommended solution for pet owners dealing with similar allergy challenges
by LANS W

Our once lively spitz turned lethargic during grandma's visit, who was unknowingly feeding her table scraps. Following the vet's advice, we switched to Zignature. The change was remarkable, with our spitz regaining her energy in just two days. Zignature proved to be a lifesaver, addressing her allergies and restoring her health. It's become our go-to choice, and we're grateful for the positive impact it had on our dog's well-being. A highly recommended solution for pet owners dealing with similar allergy challenges.
