    The new pet fees were an unexpected charge.

    The new pet fees were an unexpected charge. We have never paid for pets before. The elevator still looks like it's under construction. Some of the ceiling panels are misplaced, and a few are completely gone. The carpet trim is also missing, leaving dried glue on the wall base. The elevator sounds very rough. I was charged a fee for changing my reservation. I don't trust that. The $100 refundable deposit seems questionable—sounds like it could lead to legal issues. The beds have cheap metal covers under the bases, and they make a loud noise when touched. Now, the free breakfast... it's not great. The scrambled eggs were like a solid lump of something unpleasant. I couldn't even manage to eat it. The sausage was too spicy, and it didn't look good at all. For those who like spice, there’s hot sauce available. After trying the eggs, I skipped the biscuits and gravy and lost any interest in waffles, especially since I would’ve had to make them myself. I also won’t touch frozen butter pats. The remodeled dining area looks nice, though. Finally, the carpet is in poor condition with holes and stains. Oh, and part of the coffee maker was missing.

    I booked a hotel through them and

    I booked a hotel through them and received a confirmation email with all the details. However, when I arrived, the staff and manager wouldn’t honor the booking. It felt like they had other customers who were willing to pay more. When I contacted customer service, they just said it wasn’t their issue and didn’t make any effort to offer a solution. It was a disappointing experience. I would suggest looking at other options.

    Microtel Inns and Suites, Dover

    Microtel Inns and Suites, Dover NH: 10/17/24 -10/20/24 We had to pay in full upfront when we checked in. They wouldn’t accept a gift card (VISA) for payment. The sheets were not clean and still dirty after we asked on the first day. Breakfast food was old and moldy (bread, English muffins). WiFi was poor, and the TV in the room was WiFi connected but we couldn't watch anything. The room was not clean at all (no vacuuming, stains on the carpet). Bath towels were dirty and looked used. They were as small as hand towels. There was no coffee maker in the room (as it was said). No microwave in the room (as it was promised). The fitness center was closed. The room was hot, and we couldn’t adjust the temp because the thermostat was broken. They wouldn’t refund us for any of the problems we reported. Every problem was mentioned to the front desk, and we were told that “changes were coming soon” to fix them. We couldn’t find another hotel in town because they were full for weddings and a Film Festival. Sadly, a very bad experience. No guest should be treated like this.

    They cancelled my reservation just days before

    They cancelled my reservation just days before I was due to arrive, without giving any proper reason. When I called, they explained they needed the room because of a past hurricane. The storm was weeks ago, so they could have told me much earlier, giving me time to find another place. This trip was planned for months, but the staff seemed uninterested in the trouble it caused me. Not reliable at all.

    Totally the most unpleasant hotel

    Totally the most unpleasant hotel I have ever visited. I believe a roadside inn would be a better choice. The mattress feels like a solid block and the pillows are as hard as stones. This is a crime.
