As a student in the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
As a student in the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program at University of the People, I’ve found the experience affordable and academically demanding. The tuition-free model—with only small assessment fees—makes higher education possible without debt, which is great for working adults like me. The program is fully online and accredited by WASC and DEAC, so the degree is accepted by employers and graduate schools. The weekly schedule of readings, discussion forums, quizzes, and peer-reviewed assignments has helped me develop discipline and time management, while the courses cover important business topics I can use in my real job as a printing press operator with leadership goals. That said, the peer-review system can be inconsistent based on who grades your work, and instructor support is limited. Success in this program requires self-motivation, persistence, and the ability to handle independent learning. Despite these difficulties, I’ve gained useful knowledge, connected with a worldwide student community, and stayed on track for career growth. Overall, I highly reccomend University of the People to anyone looking for a flexible, affordable, and accredited way to earn a business degree.
