Overall, I have been very hapy
by Mary

Overall, I have been very hapy with my Torrid purchases (I think every Tshirt I own is from Torrid), and I am fortunate to have several of their stores in my general area and all have seemed to have nice, friendly, helpful staff. I do find their sizing somewhat inconsistant and that makes it difficult to order items online. Becouse I have stores nearby I have been able to make returns in person and have had no isues -- from reading other reviews it sounds like I am lucky to never have had to contact their costumer service online or by phone. Shipping can be slow, but generally I see that my orders are processed quickly. So I assume this is really on the shipping company rather than Torrid as I have experienced this with several companies recently. My major complaint is that they use double racks (one above the other) for their clearance areas in-store. As someone only 5 feet tall, but wearing some of Torrid's smaller sizes, I can not reach a single item or even move items aside to be able to look through this section. (I can only reach the lower rack, but these are the larger sizes). For me, it is a big frustration with a brand I am overall quite happy with.

Terrible ordeal. Zero regard for customers. Placed a ship-to-store order, and they axed it without any notification. Used a gift card, and the process to reclaim my funds was a nightmare. Basic courtesy is missing – a heads-up about the cancellation and prompt refund should be a given!

Ordering from Torrid online can be
by Fox

Ordering from Torrid online can be a bit of a hassle. The first time I ordered online, I chose home delivery. After a long wait of 2.5 months, my package finally made it to my doorstep. Trying to cancel the order through customer service proved unsuccessful. A store employee suggested having it delivered to the store for a quicker process. Giving it a second shot, it took another 3-4 weeks for my single clothing item to arrive. I received only one email notifying me that my order was ready for pick-up, but it had been at the store for a week without any prior notice. If you want a smoother experience, consider shopping in-store instead.

Bought a $60 blouse for a trip recently
by Jill Hunter

Bought a $60 blouse for a trip recently. Used it once, followed the washing instructions precisely. However, the shirt tore and shredded at the seam. It lasted less than a week, worn only for 2 hours.

I used to adore this company, giving
by Amy Causer

I used to adore this company, giving it a solid 5 stars months ago. However, my satisfaction has plummeted to a mere 1 star. The shift from US-based customer service to foreign representatives has been disastrous. Incessant background noise during calls hampers communication. Attempting a return became a marathon—45 minutes initially and later, the return vanished. The revamped online return system lacks crucial item details, causing confusion. Attempts to edit or cancel are futile. The outsourcing decision has jeopardized customer loyalty. If this persists, I may divert my fashion loyalty elsewhere. TORRID, bring back US-based support and fix the online system promptly!

My experience with this company's customer service has been disappointing
by Luna Reinhart

My experience with this company's customer service has been disappointing. Despite reaching out immediately after mistakenly placing an order with the wrong address, I was unable to rectify the issue. Even contacting support yielded no solution. It's frustrating that there's no option to amend orders, especially given their slow shipping process. This lack of flexibility in addressing customer errors reflects poorly on their service and undermines the overall experience.
