Don’t do it!

We were looking for 2 cheap tix to TX in Feb. Found great tix prices here so “booked” them online. They were basic tix but no where does it define what that means. Within 10 minutes of booking our phone rang… the company is calling to tell us that only one seat we bought is available (left) at that price, but the agent will “fix” it for us. He was very aggressive. He kept saying “ you are flexible right?” No - we picked the dates for a reason! Ended up moving the flights slightly for same day… guess what? Going to cost $90 more. My husband told him forget it, we were just going to cancel . The agent told us not to do that— we’d lose all our money. At that point we should have called our credit card and have them stop the charges… ( we booked tickets at an advertised price that they didn’t have seats for!) but we let the agent scare us. We later learned that with these tickets we couldn’t even bring carryon luggage. We did eventually get our e-tix emailed to us but first he only sent one ticket, and then we realized he had us returning on wrong day so had to go back to rebooking…. Our flight home from Texas to MI was going to take over 13 hours with all the stops and layovers. And guess what? More $$$. After a few days we were just way too uncomfortable with the whole thing. We could get no where with tarifasodeal or our credit card so we ended up calling United directly and changing our tickets to economy. United said the tix we originally purchased were $150. & there are the very bottom tix- no carry on, no changes , no refunds, no flight credit. They never recommend these for anyone. This was not clearly disclosed at all! End of the story? We rebooked our tix directly with a United agent. Our $300 tix now cost us $600 ( agent was kind and gave us $100 off each due to our hassle with the scam artists) but we feel much more confident about our purchase. Lesson learned! Tarifasodeal uses scare tactics, pushy aggressive agents & bait and switch tactics to make a profit. Couldn’t recommend them less!

Bait and switch, criminals, deceptive, aggressive

DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. They said the $412.66 ticket I purchased was a stand-by ticket with no option for carry-on or checking a bag (in other words, cannot travel with luggage!). It made no sense. They said to "upgrade" to a seat on the flight and the ability to carry-on and check a bag would cost $849.00. Offered me multiple "options" -- all of which were significantly more expensive than the ticket I had purchased. At one point, she said it would cost me $150 to check one bag at the airport! Every time I declined an option, the woman said, "That's your choice." Refused to refund me my $412.66. Aggressive chaotic conversation. I stood my ground, locked my credit card, and contacted the AG's office.

Fraud and scam

They are big fraud . They display the cheap price just to take ur credit card information and will not issue the ticket even after 24 hr of reservation. When u call them , that’s when the drama starts. They inform you that the ticket that was displayed and you reserved expects you to stand in the flight just with the ticket alone( no carryon or no checkin) and which u end up paying at the airport terminal or they Throw the option to book the ticket with higher fare. They only give you the credit that u can only travel With them with the price they quote. It is illegal to charge the card without even issuing the ticket. I SUGGEST STAY AWAY FROM THEM. THEY ARE BIG FRAUD AND I DONT RECOMMEND THEM.

Do Not Use!

I bought plane tickets yesterday from Tarifasodeal and was immediately called by them to tell me that I may not carry on my purse unless I get a different flight. That was my first red flag. My second red flag came when they all of a sudden found a cheaper flight but with added carry on fees, so I could now take my purse and a carry on. Absurd. No airline will not allow an item that will fit under the seat in front of you but I had already given my credit card and thought I had tickets. Then I got another call saying that they needed to charge in two separate transactions and they second one won't clear the bank and gave me a runaround as to why I had to pay in two separate transactions. Avoid using this place. I hope to help someone else save time and money from staying away from Tarifasodeal.

Absolutely Horrible

Absolutely horrid. This company will lie to you and try and convince you that you have no choice but to use their services or they’ll default on your money. I have never experienced such sleazy, dishonest, underhanded and aggressive sales tactics from a company before. Check out the Reddits about this company and people’s experiences. This is probably the 5th bad review I’ve ever written because I value my time more than writing a complaint. That’s how awful my experience was… now my main credit card is locked and I lost an extra $180 to keep my travel plans on track as well as 2 hrs on the phone with this awful company and Chase bank. The customer service rep Jeff was a nice guy. I hate that he has to make a living working for such a terrible and disgusting company.

I came across unusually cheap ticket from Oakland to Seattle and in my eagerness to save few hundred dollars, I cancelled original ticket I purchased through Southwest.com and purchased three tickets through this so-called "Tarifaso Deal" online website. Within hours of purchasing my flight from them, I got an email asking me to call them asap because they needed to verify my purchase, but in reality it was to say the price I paid does not include any luggage, not even a carry-on or purse. To add even a small carry-on luggage, I'll need to pay additional $900 for myself and my two children. So the $1,000 I got excited about is $1,900 in reality. 

I was furious and asked the agent with an Indian accent to cancel my ticket immediately. That's when he started getting very abusive. He started by saying "Who do you think you are to demand a refund", then proceeded to tell me they've a record that I bought the tickets knowingly, and that there would be absolutely NO REFUND. And ended with "You can call your credit card company if you want but that's not going to make a difference. When I asked where they were located, he said "It's not your business, but we're based in Florida if you must know" then hang up on me. 

Luckily, I've a great credit card company so I was able to call my Chase Sapphire card company and alert them to stop any charges that may come through. Few hours later I called a different number for the scam agency, and a different person informed me the transition had been canceled as I'd requested (almost if none of the threat and verbal abuse never happened earlier that day. 

Long story short, IF A DEAL SEEMS TO BE TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT MOST LIKELY IS. Stay away from these thuggish scammers before you flash your hard-earned money down the toilet and get verbally abused in the process.

Very bad experience

Got a call ticket went from 350 to 625 if I had any luggage. Southwest always has 2 bags free. Canceled my credit card and purchased on Southwest for $421. Do not book with this company.

HORRENDOUS

If I could give less than 1 star I would. STAY AWAY!!! I booked tickets which were without luggage- even tho this wasn't stated anywhere. Then was told to get luggage have to rebook for a different date- price immediately goes up. They changed my flight and after I asked if the length of the flight was the same was told yes- it turned out to be with a 7.5 hour layover. Was promised able o pick seats, etc. none of it was true. Was told CONSTANTLY someone would return my call- WAS NEVER CALLED BACK. All around was interrupted constantly by agents and experienced some of the most antagonistic and manipulative "customer service" Ive had. Literal NIGHTMARE.

Complete scam!!! Stay away!!!

They called me straight after booking my ticket and informed me that there is no luggage and that me and my son will not be sitting together unless I pay $250 more! Complete scam, I cannot cancel my ticket either as it is non refundable. Stay away! Customer service sucks! Option was cancel and Forfeit my $3100 (how elegantly the customer service supervisor put it)

SCAM!! I DO NOT RECCOMMEND!! I came across low fare prices traveling from MBJ to CLE and thought I hit the jackpot! few hours later these people were calling me even before I got out of bed in the morning. I missed the call but they made sure to send an email stating it was urgent and they need to contact me. I sent an email asking is there an issue with the booking, immediately they called back, a guy with an Indian accent, very rude as well. But God works in mysterious ways because my card was locked! They claimed that the payment went through however, the ticket is a wait listed ticket and does not include any luggage. He proceeded to ask if I was flexible because he could get me on another flight for an additional $320, I said that will not happen, I will not be paying an extra dime! He started to get aggressive and would not let me get a word in, I asked if he could allow the customer to speak! He averred that if I wanted to keep the flight and be wait listed is up to me as guests that paid full flight would get first preference as I got a discounted rate. He said I would just be bumped over to the next available flight due to the booking I made. This Indian man was arguing with me, the customer, forcing me to pay more money but I refused! He told me it's non- refundable and it would be my loss, I informed him I will just call my bank because I am not aware of this transaction, he said that's your business we did not force you to book with us. I hang up, I called my bank as I was unable to access with my phone, they confirmed that my card was Indeed locked and the transaction did not go through. The fact that I was upset trying to log into my account from the app and it wasn't letting me, that was God protecting me!! I was able to log in after and made sure that the card is kept locked. These people are a team of SCAMMERS! IF YOU THINK THE PRICE IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE... IT IS! Nobody reads the fine prints.

Bunch of crooks

Saw a ticket JFK-DEL-JFK (routed via jetsaver, they should also take this co off their list as an aggregator) for USD 1084 (Travel in Dec-Jan). Sounded good, double checked for checked bag on jetsaver (no info on bags on tarifaso itself) and booked. Ticket came with no PNR but a pic of 1 purse, 1 carry on, 1 checked bag. After 12 hours there's no ticket. Had called during ET night hours and an Indian (like me) picked up and said to try after 10 am ET. Called again and was told only a purse is included and with one cabin plus one checked bag it's now USD 1577. Way more than what other sites were offering. Wife kept them busy on the call and I called Amex. They said no such charge has come. They advised to block international web sites for a few days and they will call me if any such charge is attempted. When I joined the call a cool dude at the other end lost his marbles and said he will issue the ticket anyway and my card will be charged. Told him to do his worst and f**k off. Adding a note for Finnair. If you insist on having these tickets with no bags, then you're no different from an LCC. AYou should not offer connection, alliances, code shares or miles. You don't deserve it. If I was the CEO of an airport (done five years at a 70 mppa airport), I'd park you in a remote bay without a power cart and make you burn JP for two hours.

no ticket booked - money taken from bank - this TarifasoDeal is a Froud - don't buy flight ticket

Flight tickets were booked using this online travel agency tarifasodeal.com for flights from Phoenix, Az to Kochi, India on 7/20/2024. We received multiple confirmation emails from the above mentioned travel agent. We paid Total Price: $2191.84 using our credit card 9041. The total amount was debited on 7/15/2024. The airline staff at airport was unable to find an active air ticket. Stated that the ticket has been cancelled and the amount is refunded. I did not received any email communication from tarifasodeal.com or Qatar airways regarding this matter. I checked my credit card statement, money $ 1991.43 has been taken by qatar airways on 7/16/24, no refund issued. $200.41 was taken by Trlv*experts*8885013510 on 7/17/24, a refund was issued after i called and spoke to them today. I have email communication from tarifasodeal.com regarding the airticket confirmation as well as the receipt of the total amount. But no email regarding the cancellation of the tickets or refund.I am supposed to reach Kochi India on Monday as there is a family emergency is going on. Now am stranded in the airport, with no air tickets or refund.

These are what you call true scammers.... Tarifasodeals supposedly sells you a cheap ticket then they call you requiring you to upgrade or you'll fly with no luggage and even no seat (imagine that!!@) anyway I ended up closing my credit card so their charge would not go through and I had a blast torturing them calling about my ticket which they did not have and kept telling me it was not refundable and If I did not agree to pay more money and/or was flexible with the dates I was going to lose my money but they did not yet know that I had already canceled my credit card. I WOULD NOT RISK IT WITH THEM ANYMORE EVER

SCAM DONT Go Through the Trouble

They lie about the price then call you a million times charging you more. Telling you you won’t get a refund and try to charge twice as much. Them calling me was the tip off I needed to shut off my credit card. Zero stars would be better.

Do not trust!!! Bait and switch!!!

I paid $308.63 for a flight from Monterey, CA to New Orleans. I was called that evening by a person representing Terifaso Deal. He said I was not allowed to bring any luggage on the plane at the price they had given me. When I said I wanted my money back he said they could get me a flight from San Fransisco. He kept trying to talk me into that. I said I don't want to fly out of San Francisco I want to fly out of Monterey. He said the flight I booked was full so they could only offer me a flight that costs $578.00 and that flight allowed a bag to be checked. Since he would not return my money, I agreed to the higher price as long as I could take a bag. He was so condescending and said "Yes, yes, yes you can take a bag. I felt very taken advantage of so today I looked online and found the flight they sold me on United for $416.00. They charged me an additional $162.00 for no service...nothing. This business should not be legal, this in completely unethical. They told me this was a good deal; it is not by any standard.

SCAM! Should get a 0 Rating!

I was searching for flights and came across a site that compared multiple other sites. One of those was TarifasoDeal. They quoted a price a couple hundred cheaper than Priceline. So I filled out the booking information. It said a representative would get a hold of me soon to confirm everything. They emailed saying they called and left a voicemail, but I did not receive a call. The rep said let me see what I can do. Said flight is confirmed but if I am not on that flight I will be on the next. In order to get a seat it was $400 more. Then said if I cancel I will still be charged the $541.13. I had to call my bank to try and get resolution. don't deal with this company! SCAM!!!!

it`s a fraud, scam

they offered a ticket of $300 with American for an international flight, after you purchase your ticket you get an email with your itinerary, but they don`t send a ticket or a confirmation code, because your reservation doesn`t exist, when you call them, the agent tells you that it`s a standby ticket and that you might not be confirmed and you won`t get a refund, i talked to the agent for about 50 minutes, and they said i could get a real ticket if i pay $450 more, than the $300 i had already pay, what they offer it`s not true, it doesn`t exist.

Beware of this company's deceptive practices. Fell for a discounted flight with no available tickets, ended up on standby. Made an alternate reservation with a supposed 24-hour cancellation policy, only to discover "taxes" meant a sneaky travel agent fee they refused to refund. Disappointing experience filled with tricks. Annoyed by persistent phone calls asking for reviews, so here's mine – steer clear of this company's tricky tactics.

i bought ticket from pdx to hololulu HI conformation amount $1712.00 they charge me $2300.00 i call them why Oh no that deal is over no more i told them why ? there is too much hassle i request if price is different i need my refund they don't wanna refund they try to sale more and more oh i can find you different day you can have this and that which is not acceptable for me i will say NO NO don't go this site

Well, I purchased a cheap ticket online. After paying for it, I received a phone call from Maverick explaining that the plane is full and he wants to help me find a different ticket. I asked for refund because of a hike in price but he said my ticket was not refundable. I ended up accepting the new deal with $180 more and have to drive 2 hours to another airport in a neighboring state instead of the 15 minutes local airport. I was upset as a result of this turn of luck but the fact I got a ticket and I was planning to visit the new city, I was ok. The team handling the matter were well traind and helpful

I didn't have an issue with Michelle, but the whole experience with GI was a disaster. They attract you with cheap airfare but fail to mention it's on standby. After buying tickets and receiving the itinerary via email, I got a call stating they were standby, non-refundable, and didn't include luggage or seat. If I had known, I wouldn't have booked with them. Ended up paying over $400 extra or canceling with no refund.

Totally Scam

The prices that they showed are not true at all. After you booked your tickets they will call you saying that they cannot confirm the way there or back. They ask for $500 to $700 more per ticket!! for a much longer with more stops flights. They will not cancel the ticket even 20 minutes after the transaction, they will put you on hold for so long... They give you the excuse that it is busy time to fly when the first thing that you put to do the search are the dates.

My experience with this company was utterly dreadful. The incessant calls, a tedious hour on the phone, and the hassle of dealing with triple charges forced me to contact my bank. The confirmation process was unnecessarily convoluted, requiring me to submit a review just to obtain my confirmation number. Opting for Expedia seems like a wiser choice; I won't be returning to this website. Zero stars would be a more fitting rating.
