The restricions on account limits for credit The restricions on account limits for credit

The restricions on account limits for credit or debit notifications should not be removed. Without these, if someone takes money from your account, you won’t get an alert right away. This could let more money be taken before you notice. Santander has made a big mistake, putting customers at risk. It might make sense to stop credit alerts, but debit alerts exist for a reason. This does not just show poor customer support but also makes your account less secure.

Santander is a very poor Bank. Santander is a very poor Bank.

Santander is a very poor Bank. First off, in 2023, I switched from paper statements to online ones... two years later, I'm still getting paper ones. I can never get ahold of anyone, and when I call, I'm always put on hold. Visiting the branches is no help either since their hours are not suitable for anyone who works full time. They shut at 3:00pm on weekdays and 12:30pm on weekends. Recently, I got a text saying they're stopping my text alerts. I’m a POA for my mother and manage her account while working full time and caring for her. Santander is a joke – no one to talk to, and their store hours are ridiculous. Get your act together, Santander, and make your branches more accessible. Also, the ongoing issue with my paper statements feels like a serious data breach! The date I have to set for the "date of experience" isn’t fully accurate as this has been going on since April 2023!!!

Santander Bank’s handling of direct debits is disappointing Santander Bank’s handling of direct debits is disappointing

Santander Bank’s handling of direct debits is disappointing. They notify you that a direct debit is on your account but fail to include essential details like the amount or the company taking the payment. This lack of transparency is frustrating. Improving their system to include clear payment information would make a significant difference.
