I joined WorldRemit on February
by M Rousseau

I joined WorldRemit on February 17, 2024, hoping to send money from my South African bank to my children's account in Australia. However, after submitting my South African ID card for verification, I faced continuous delays. Despite following their instructions promptly, I'm still stuck in a frustrating loop of submitting my ID daily. It's been 24 days, and the transfer hasn't happened yet. Their customer service is unreachable by phone, and my emails go unanswered. Even the live chat support abruptly ended our conversation. This lack of response is not only disappointing but also unprofessional. I'm deeply upset by WorldRemit's inability to fulfill their advertised service promptly. The urgency of the funds needed in Australia makes this delay even more distressing.

This company falls short of delivering
by Trish

This company falls short of delivering a reliable service. Negative experiences, like mine, echo a consistent theme of poor transactions and unhelpful customer service. Despite addressing the issue with higher management, the only response received is a repetitive "SORRY." Technical problems persist for extended periods, causing legitimate stress for customers. The claim of "sending money in just a minute" is far from reality, raising doubts about the company's ability to fulfill its promises. Consider alternatives before engaging with this unreliable money transfer app.

Facing a crisis during the Christmas season
by Alec Moses

Facing a crisis during the Christmas season, my regular recipient was denied funds, first due to a system issue, then for purported missing details. The recipient's mental health challenges were exacerbated, triggering an urgent family episode. Despite initial claims of a system outage, the lack of resolution and assistance from the service provider has added unnecessary stress to an already challenging time. Not helpful at all, leaving the family to grapple with the fallout of the situation.

WorldRemit has caused significant distress
by A.S

WorldRemit has caused significant distress as they failed to send a transfer made on December 11th to my family member. Despite requesting a refund, they haven't responded or refunded the amount. This unacceptable delay of over two weeks has led to frustration. I am compelled to submit a complaint to the federal government. It's disheartening when a service provider like WorldRemit fails to fulfill its commitment, causing unnecessary inconvenience and financial stress.

WorldRemit's customer service is
by Hamza Abdi

WorldRemit's customer service is undoubtedly abysmal. With a rating system allowing zero stars, I would choose that. Dealing with them has been a nightmare. My uncle's account is inexplicably locked, and the support provided is far from sufficient. Despite a transaction from overseas a month ago, the funds have yet to reach my account, leaving me frustrated and questioning the integrity of this company. They seem nothing short of opportunistic thieves.

My experience with WorldRemit has
by Dahlia Nollora

My experience with WorldRemit has been consistently disappointing. Despite numerous attempts to seek assistance through calls, the unavailability of their customer service is frustrating. Resorting to chat as the only means of communication has yielded no response. This lack of responsiveness has left me deeply dissatisfied, prompting me to explore alternative service providers.

World Remit's handling of my funds
by Denise Adofo

World Remit's handling of my funds has left me utterly dissatisfied. My money has been held since Saturday without explanation, and today, I receive an email stating my account is deactivated. The lack of communication and inability to reach them is deeply concerning. My primary concern is the prompt return of my funds.

World Remit, seriously disappointed!
by April Macaraeg

World Remit, seriously disappointed! Agents left me hanging, total incompetence. Had questions, and they just told me to call? Not the first time facing this issue, it's a recurring disaster. Waited for 4 days, two failed attempts. Every agent I spoke to had a different story. Consistency seems like a foreign concept.

My husband sent 335 euros over
by MB

My husband sent 335 euros over a month ago, deducted from our account but hasn't reached the recipient. Customer care blames 'technical issues' and can't provide answers. Unable to cancel, and no one takes responsibility. Yesterday, customer care rudely ended the chat. Until proven otherwise, it feels like theft.

This company makes money
by Mary

This company makes money from exchange rates and charges for cable services. They are tricking us with their unfair service. Why? Their excuse now is that money sent through them on holidays won't be processed until the next work day. Sending money that's supposed to take minutes now takes 4 days!

Two days in, and my transaction is still dragging on. Now, my mum is left without money for the weekend. This service is nothing short of a complete joke.
