After dealing with SmithRx, Sana's
by Anjenette

After dealing with SmithRx, Sana's prescription benefits manager, I must say it's been quite a hassle. Getting prescriptions approved involves a lot of effort, with numerous phone calls and emails required. As someone who has been a Type 1 diabetic for three decades, I've noticed that SmithRx prioritizes finances over health. They consistently deny the prescriptions my trusted Endocrinologist submits, only approving the cheapest, generic options. It's also frustratingly difficult to access information about their approved drugs. Despite my extensive experience with insurance companies over the years, SmithRx stands out as the first to prioritize profit over my well-being. On the bright side, I haven't encountered any issues with the medical aspect of Sana so far, but my experience with SmithRx has left me with a negative impression overall.

CAUTION ADVISED! Having utilized SANA
by kim

CAUTION ADVISED! Having utilized SANA "insurance" for two years now through my employer, I must caution against it. The experience has been far from smooth sailing. It's excessively burdensome to get providers on board with the "insurance" and ensuring coverage for procedures requires constant follow-up, adding unnecessary stress. Moreover, there's a lack of transparency regarding coverage specifics, and opting for non-preferred third-party services can result in unexpected bills. It's essential to clarify that these plans aren't typical PPO insurances but rather MANAGED CARE, a detail often glossed over during sales pitches.

Overall, not bad.
by Matt

Overall, not bad. Our staff like Sana. Right now, lots of folks are having problems with their pharmacy perks and stuff like Vida. They got told their coverage stopped even though we just renewed for 2023 and everyone picked new plans.

Outrageous
by Brigid Borcik

What was supposed to be a $1 fee was a $55 fee, charged immediately. I'm on disability and that a lot of money for me. I don't have food for next week now.

They eventually got me the answers I needed
by JW

They eventually got me the answers I needed, but it took longer than expected. I was in the middle of scheduling appointments, so it was hard to wait.
