As someone in their 50s, learning a new language is not always easy. I tried before about 12 years ago, but I gave up after a while. Recently, I found Russian Accelerator, and I’m really happy I did! The podcasts are great for listening on the go, and Mark explains everything in a way that makes sense, especially with word endings and literal translations. Now that I'm using the Accelerator course, I’m enjoying it more. There is even a media center for each unit where I can hear real Russian speakers using the material we've learned. I stay in touch often, either with Mark or another team member. Considering the affordable price of the course, I’d definitely suggest it to others!

I began learning Russian and came across Russian Accelerator. It has helped improve my language skills quite a lot, but when I visited Russia, I still struggled with reading the signs and talking to locals. I have completed the course 3 times, and each time, I notice a few things that I didn’t get before. One tip, take your time and practice saying things out loud. I found that it’s simpler in your mind, but saying them out loud makes a big difference and helps with confidence. I’m not sure if this program is worth it, but some might find it useful.

I have been helping foreign professionals

I have been helping foreign professionals with their American accent for a long time and I can see many of the techniques I suggest in your teaching approach. My speaking and understanding have improved so much, and I’m just starting unit 3! I use all the tips and listen to the media as well. I’ve made flashcards with over 120 words and phrases. I also have an audiobook with the 1000 most common words used in sentences, and now I can get a general sense of the sentence's meaning before it’s translated into English. It's great!

The Russian Accelerator Program has helped me a lot during my first steps in learning Russian. Now, after five years, I can still return to check various ideas and resources. It is a useful program that is clearly organized and simple to use at your own speed.
