After moving several times in the past ten years

After moving several times in the past ten years, I can honestly say this was the smoothest move I’ve had—thanks fully to Nico and Harper from Rio Moving. From the second they came inside, they showed a great mix of quick work and very kind, polite service. They carefully checked the rooms, asked smart questions about fragile pieces and where we wanted furniture before lifting anything. I liked how prepared they were, bringing wraps, pads, and dollies—nothing seemed hurried, yet everything went along with steady pace. Our last move had been a mess, so we were nervous, but Nico and Harper gave us total trust that we were in capable hands. They even handled taking apart and putting back a tricky bed frame with no problam. On top of their energy and speed, they were well organized and very respectful of our place. I’ve already told friends about Rio Moving, and I’ll for sure use them again. Truly, this crew is really outstanding!

Rio Moving was great right from the start. Booking was easy, their price was fair and clear, and they kept in touch all the way. The movers came early, ready, and full of energy. They made sure to know what needed special attention and packed everything safely. I really liked how careful they were with my stuff and my home—no scratches on the floors or marks on the walls, and they even put down mats to protect busy spots. They worked fast but with care, and you could tell they had done this together before—it was like watching a smooth team at work. I’ve hired movers before, but none were as good as Rio in being quick, friendly, and careful. Not one thing got broken, and I was all moved in by the afternoon. Truly great service. I would use them again in a heartbeat and recomend them to anyone moving soon.

I rarely write reviews, but I want to give thanks to Camila and Jordan from Rio Moving for their great help. From beginning to end, they acted with real professionalism. They showed up on time, greeted us nicely, and started right away. Our move had many heavy and breakable things—like a piano and artwork—and they managed each one with care and skill. Camila was very carefull with wrapping fragile items, while Jordan took charge of putting everything into the truck in the right way. Nothing got broken or scratched. They kept us informed step by step and always asked where to place items in the new house. Moving can feel stressful, but they made the whole day simple and calm. Their good attitude and speed made the move feel smooth and easy. I would strongly suggest Rio Moving. Five stars given!

I can’t say enough nice things about Rio Moving. From the first time I called for a price to the last box being set down, they were simply amazing. The crew was on time, polite, and very fast at what they do. What I liked most was how much care they gave to each item—everything was wraped well, marked, and handled gently. I was a bit worried about a few delicate antiques, but they made sure all of them reached me without a scratch. They worked fast but never seemed to hurry, and they even gave a hand with setting up some furniture in my new home. Moving can be a hard task, but Rio made it feel easy and even pleasant. They also kept in touch all day and answered quickly before the move. I’ve used other movers before, but none came close to this kind of skill and service. Highly recommended 💕💕💕

Thanks Rio Moving for the job well done

Had four large glass cabinets worth $500 each, they packed them carefully and they made it halfway across the country intact and not a scratch on them. Also had a large bed frame, expensive, no damage. Finally, during the move the movers pointed out some damage they believe they had done, in reality the damage was done prior to the move, but it was the gesture and honesty that earned my respect. Owning a mistake (not even their fault) takes a degree of professionalism you do not see with most movers. Only a few scratches here and there that honestly are barely worth a mention and may have been our fault. Responded to a short notice request and were communicative. Very cost effective but I think worth it overall in my opinion. Thanks Rio Moving team!

They kept me informed and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I had a lot of delicate things like glass and paintings, and everything got here safe and sound. They even spent extra time to place my stuff perfectly in the new home. I liked that their prices were clear—no hidden charges or tricks. Highly Professional

The two guys who came out to move us were exceedingly impressive. Highly professional, personable, and self-motivated, these dudes immediately took charge and started hauling without hesitation. They remained communicative and friendly throughout the process, and even moved a desk in one piece for my convenience even though disassembly would have made it easier on them. Removed a large mirror from our dresser without a second thought, even grabbed a unique bit from my driver set to use on those bolts, and stashed the bit and bolts in a ziplock for transport, then let me know; I remain impressed with that self-driven independence.

This moving company really came through for me

This moving company really came through for me; first, they sent a team to my house within 24 hours of requesting a quote; second, they assisted me with a heavy 400+ lb. concrete bench move, something my husband and I couldn't handle ourselves. The three men who came were courteous, respectful, and worked well together as a team. The "lead" guy explained everything step by step in a way that was easy to understand, and made sure I got the service exactly as promised in my email contract. Everything was done in a very smooth way. I was really happy, and I would definetly recommend this company without any doubt.

They did a great job

I had them move me out of my 2 bedroom apt and into a 2 level townhouse today. The two young men that moved my items were phenomenal! I cannot speak highly enough about the service I received, the work ethic of the guys that were here, the attention to detail, they made sure they had everything I needed them to get and they did it all with smiles and great personalities! I would HIGHLY recommend Rio Moving to anyone seeking out moving/packing services, I will absolutely use them again in the future!

I hired Rio Moving for a move across town, and I’m really happy with how it went. The team was nice, polite, and worked really hard. I was nervous about moving because of a bad time before with another mover, but Rio made me think different. They arrived early, brought all the right equipment, and handled my things carefully. Everything was packed and shielded better than I thought, and nothing got damaged or even marked. They worked fast but didn’t hurry, and they kept me informed the whole time.

Best moving guys

SO AMAZING! These guys are careful and courteous. I had them move a grand piano and an upright across town, and some other bulky and heavy furniture items. They did everything perfectly--truly it was PERFECT. They put up pads and cushions to protect your home's doors, door frames, railings, and wall corners as well as padded floor runners to not damage your flooring. They were so easy to work with and I would most definitely hire them again and highly recommend to anyone that asks.

Brandon and Paul were awesome! They were very friendly, courteous, on-time, came prepared, took good care of our homes, and belongings! They successfully maneuvered, thought-out and moved our heavy safe from Lithonia to our new Stone Mountain home’s basement- all without a single flaw. The communication between them as they are in tricky situations trying to think out things is impressive, it’s what makes them a 5 star mover! I can’t recommend this company more! Thanks again guys!

I had a wonderful time using Rio Movers for my move from Waldorf to Washington, DC. I was pleased with the process from beginning to end, including their on-time arrival, quick work, and careful packing and wrapping of my furniture to ensure everything arrived safely. You did a great job

Outstanding! I called just before 3 pm requesting assistance loading the uhaul trailer we had rented. The gentleman I spoke with said he would call me back in 5 or 10 minutes if he could help us. He did and said 2 guys could be at our apartment at 4 pm. They were there 5 minutes early! They were both kind, considerate and professional. The trailer was packed very efficiently. Highly recommend this company!

These guys are the best! We hired them to move some of the larger furniture and had we known how quick they are, we would've had them move everything. Hiring them was one of the best decisions that we made during our move. It has actually been several years since our move but we continue to recommend them to friends/family who have the same great experience. HIGHLY recommend!

Deon and the team were amazing! I hired Rio moving 7 months ago and there were other movers back then, so I felt unsure about Deon and his team since the other movers were good, but I was wrong. They handled our furniture gently and were smart and creative with big items. They also paid attention to time and tried hard to finish the move fast. Really thankful.

Professional!

These gentlemen treated me and my property with the utmost respect and care! Very polite and friendly! I have way too much stuff, heavy furniture and it only took 4.5 hrs for 2 trips loading and unloading. Super fast! They are open and working 7 days a week which worked out great for me to be moved on a Saturday. Highly recommend this company! Great prices.

They are my first choice

These guys are absolutely fantastic! They were both more affordable and easier to get in contact with than the other movers I looked into, and did an amazing job moving the baby grand piano in. They were punctual, friendly, and did exceptional work; I would recommend them to anyone! If I move a piano again, this will definitely be the first company I call!

Definetly suggest this company. Out of the 3 moves I've done, they’re the only ones who really packed, covered and safed ALL my stuff. Big or small, everything was wrapped with soft covers or placed into boxes by their team. They came on time, nice and very polite with our things. Not one item was just thrown in or pushed around, all was handled with care.

They did a great job.

They did a great job. They packed up our 3-bedroom flat and moved/helped unpack into our 3-bedroom home in only one day! They were very professional, kind, and careful with our stuff. The cost was also quite fair for the all-inclusive service we got. We were very pleased with their work and will surely hire them again if we move later on!

Great moving experience with this company! Two hard working movers, high energy, professional. They moved our business and we were so impressed. They worked with me during postponement due to in climate weather without any additional charges or fees. They are highly impressive

Two guys did an excellent job moving our piano out of a very difficult place with tight corners and stairs. They definitely earned their money. They were careful, professional, and hard working. All my questions by email were answered quickly and all in all I’m very impressed with this company.

Wonderful company

My mother passed at the beginning of August. We needed to move her belongings from Denver to Dallas. On the way I got sick and couldn't unload the truck. I called Rio Moving and they were able to get two guys to help unload the truck before we had to turn it in. Great awesome company.

Rio Moving did an incredible job for our move from Philly to Wilmington DE. They were fast, professional, took great with our belongings, and were very reasonably priced. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to take some of the stress out of moving!
