Guides made it magical
Stories at sunrise, snacks appearing when we needed them, and wildlife I never dreamed I’d see. I kept thinking, this is special, this is rare.

Pre trip questions handled kindly
I peppered them with gear and fitness questions. Replies were thoughtful and fast, with packing tips that proved spot on. Felt well prepared.

Sea turtles beside me
In the Galapagos, I slid into the water and a turtle glided past, unbothered. I forgot to breathe for a second. Pure awe.

Patagonia done flawlessly
From our first call, the team listened and designed days around hiking and wildlife. The guide was exceptional, and puma tracking at dawn gave us goosebumps. Lodges and transfers ran like clockwork. The thoughtfulness and pacing stood out most on a premium trip.

The quasar elements were well organized and of high quality.
The quasar elements were well organized and of high quality. Diane's suggestions for pre and post trip activities were fun and the guides and drivers were great. I really liked the fast customs clearance after a long travel day. The Grace ship and crew were fantastic, and I enjoyed the meals a lot. Having such a skilled chef for just 16 passengers was amazing. The naturalist/guides on board were professional and kind, and we really appreciated Monica. The bar was not always staffed, so maybe there could be a way to improve that. We were told there was a button to call the bartender, but I couldn't find it.

The Evolution cruise and LaSelva Lodge were great.
The Evolution cruise and LaSelva Lodge were great. The naturalists added a lot to the experience, especially Paul Merino at the lodge, who had a deep knowledge and was very passionate. Quasar did a great job organizing everything, both on land and on the water.

Our experience with Quasar was not what I hoped for
Our experience with Quasar was not what I hoped for. from our first talk with Diane to the time spent with the naturalist and the crew. It was a decent vacation but could have been better.

The whole cruise was amazing-the staff
The whole cruise was amazing--the staff, the guides, the meals, and the plans. The first night felt like we were welcomed as family, and by the week's end, we hated saying goodbye. The Galapagos is a special place where you live with nature in a unique way, and Quasar makes it better with hikes, panga rides, and snorkeling, all with lots of excitement. You will look foward to each day and each adventure.

This journey was an incredible experience.
This journey was an incredible experience. Sailing through the Galapagos islands by boat gave us a true sense of the area and its wildlife. It felt like an adventure on the sea. The ship, Evolution, had a relaxed yet luxurious vibe, almost like a high-end cruise. The food was really good, and the rooms were big and kept clean all day. The crew were all nice and funny. The naturalist guides were super cool. They made every outing, whether to a beach or in the water, more exciting than the last. They knew a lot and were fun to hang out with. They got as excited as we did when we saw something cool. Once, when someone saw something far away in the water, our guides took us in the small boats to check it out. It turned out to be a big group of pilot whales, about 150 of them. We were with them for about 45 minutes. The whales moved so smoothly in and out of the water right next to us. It was amazing to be so close to them in their natural habitat. Hearing them breathe and watching them jump was mesmerizing. We took lots of videos.
