Oh boy, sounds like a real headache

Oh boy, sounds like a real headache with Mexipass. Requested auto insurance coverage in November 2023, and they hit you with a decline, citing a total loss in 2020. The kicker? They continued coverage for two more terms after that total loss, and the policy only got canceled in 2023 because the car got sold. No heads-up from Mexipass to you or the client about that loss. Now, you're trying to get a new quote for the same vehicle with the new owner, and Mexipass shuts it down. When you ask about the loss details and why they kept covering a "total loss" vehicle for two terms, they go all cloak-and-dagger, refusing to spill the beans. Representatives, including management, are hitting you with curt, unprofessional vibes, and the manager just says "read the contract" without offering any real answers. Not the kind of support you'd expect. Seems like a mandatory crash course in professional writing wouldn't hurt over at Mexipass. Declining coverage without a clear explanation, especially for expats, just adds unnecessary stress. The lack of cooperation, professionalism, and transparency is a real letdown, especially for someone with 15 years in the insurance game. If you ever need to share names and emails for this mess, I'm here for it. Here's hoping they step up their game.
