Pricy, but zero damage

I felt relief watching meticulous wrapping and crating. The bill stung a bit, yet every fragile item arrived flawless. Tradeoff I’d make again.

White-glove exactly as promised

Coordinator confirmed elevator rules and packed our art in custom crates. Crew arrived sharp, laid floor protection, and wrapped each piece. Despite a tight staircase, nothing touched a wall. Delivery was on schedule, placement perfect. Pricing was premium, but so was the care.

Moving day zen

They showed up smiling, turned chaos into neat stacks, and somehow my plants survived. It’s expensive peace of mind, but I slept like a rock.

Overcharged, under-delivered

We were assured by Dave at the beginning of our move that they could handle antiques, heirlooms and large furniture and that they would protect our house. The price tag was well beyond that of two other companies that we were considering that are also well known in the area we chose Mastodon because They were a local company. However, the lies were apparent in the first few moments of the move this company does not have any digital inventory. They do not protect things like they say that they are going to and organization and billing doesn’t come with a breakdown. You basically get a total sense to your email without any rhyme or reason I told all in fact was about 20% more than we were quoted. I will not refer this sham moving co to anyone

Mastodon Moving was absolutly great!! They were polite, fast, and nice to work with. We moved into new construction and they made sure everything was protected (floor coverings etc). Would 100% recomend!

Mastodon helped us move from Mass to Maine

Mastodon helped us move from Mass to Maine with great service, fair prices, and a fantastic moving crew! This was a huge move! We went from a 14-room (5 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath) house to a new place in downeast Maine, 6 hours away (328 miles). I had hired them before for smaller, local moves without any problems. I wasn't sure they could manage something this big & far, but I was mistaken! They did a wonderfull job, placing all our things right where we wanted, with nothing broken. I strongly suggest using them. They are better than any big moving company, and their crew was great to work with.

Awesome moving crew! The owner JJ is very friendly and fair when dealing with any damages. Accidents happen, but JJ is understanding, approachable, and kind. He even sent me a small check to cover the repairs for a few items that were damaged. This is a solid service, not some bargain crew from around the block. They treat your stuff carefully and really do a good job. I definitely recommend.
