Absolute money hungry crooks

Absolute crooks. Did 3 months same as cash finance for $5k, called them 2 weeks before final payment to pay off amount $27, and paid what they told me. 2 months later they start charging my account. When I inquired they said I was $26 short so now owe them $6000 or $3006 pre payment! If this has happened to anyone else please respond to this review as I'm looking to start a class-action. I'm sure I'm not the first person theyve done this to.

If you do not fully understand the terms or find them unfavorable, consider avoiding companies like Kafene altogether. Got my furniture lease paid off before the price hike would've doubled my payment from $3000 to $6700. Now they’re saying I owe another $800 to actually own the furniture. It’s mind-blowing. No way these positive reviews are real. Maybe written by their own employees. By the way, kafene isn’t even a furniture store, so they don't control how fast you get your stuff. I got my furniture delivered 4 weeks before the early payoff option was due, which means 2 months after I first bought it. They straight up refused to pause or hold the payments, so I ended up paying for furniture I didn’t even have for those 2 months. Honestly, the whole experience felt like a mess. Waiting forever for the furniture and then dealing with unexpected extra charges just makes you wonder how they run their business. It’s frustrating when you think you’ve taken care of everything only to find out there’s more money to be forked out. Wouldn’t recommend this to anyone who values clear communication and fair dealing.
