HSG products are reliable and I've been buying from them for years. But my recent experience with their direct ordering process left me a bit disappointed. When I ordered, I didn't know if the items were available or on backorder. There was no mention of lead times either. It took nearly 13 weeks to receive my order. Around week 6, I contacted customer service and learned about the 8-10 week lead time for Duty Tacos. They offered a refund and suggested buying from a dealer with items in stock, but since I used a gift card, I wasn't sure if I'd get a full refund. I decided to wait the extra 2 weeks, but it ended up being 7 weeks more. My suggestion for HSG is to include stock availability or estimated lead times when customers order online. This would prevent surprises after placing an order.

Although the products are good, I faced

Although the products are good, I faced a couple of problems. Firstly, it took more than 8 weeks for my order to arrive, and I had to reach out to inquire about it. Secondly, it seems like 511 Tactical has ventured into the food business, which was unexpected. However, they seem to be handling it decently, despite it being somewhat of a copycat.

I'm extremely disappointed with the lack of communication from this company. Not a single email has provided any updates on my order status. I'm left in the dark, unsure if my gear is being processed, prepared for shipping, already shipped, or stuck on backorder. This level of customer service is unacceptable, leaving me frustrated and questioning the company's reliability.

They excel in accommodating various long gun magazines, from 3" 12ga shotgun magazines to standard AR15 mags, with reliable retention. The robust OneWrap straps on the belt-mounted TACOs exhibit strength, likely outlasting the stitching. However, the company falls short in providing clear information, especially regarding the mounting system and dimensions. This led to an unfortunate purchase mishap, as the lack of details made it challenging to discern the product specifics. Additionally, the absence of an easy return/replacement process for mistakenly bought items adds unnecessary complexity to obtaining the desired MOLLE variant. Despite the stellar product quality, the company needs to address these information and customer service shortcomings for a smoother buying experience.
