This place is great! Ms. Crossley will listen to me babble for an hour and it's only $20! I couldn't pay anyone else in the world to do that for $20. I'd have to pay thousands for anyone else, plus they'd probably tell me to quite after the first ten minutes.

I've been using Headway for I've been using Headway for

I've been using Headway for a few months now and brought some clients over who used to pay out of pocket or were out-of-network. They are super happy to be paying less per session now that I can take their insurance through Headway. A lot of the insurance plans Headway works with actually pay pretty well, like $100 or more per session. I do like the Headway platform, especially the outcome measures it offers to both clinicians and clients. However, I think it's kind of unfair for therapists to be paid less than $100 per session. Headway definitely makes insurance credentialing a lot easier, but they could work on increasing rates for some of the insurance plans.

However, I do find it frustrating that some CPT codes, like E/M codes, aren't usable outside regular hours and holidays. It means missing out on some income, which isn't ideal. But, on the bright side, not having to handle the admin tasks is a big relief. Balancing the pros and cons, the ease of documentation and reduced admin workload makes it worth it. Overall, it has simplified many aspects of my practice, even if it's not perfect.

Though, it would be better if they could negotiate better payment amounts with insurance boards. It's a shame some insurances don't pay enough for certain services.
