We used Fundly for our school's fundraisers.
by Lindsay

We used Fundly for our school's fundraisers. Overall, it was quick to set up and made accepting donations from out-of-town families easy. It was better than cookie dough and chocolate fundraisers. We organized a walkathon and asked parents to spread the word. Many used Facebook to get relatives to donate through Fundly. Some brought cash or checks, too. My only wish was to upload videos into emails. But Fundly made raising money easy. We'll use them for our Fall Back to School Fundraiser too.

This company be real bad, almost like a scam.
by Constantin

This company be real bad, almost like a scam. They know about fraud but just say talk to your bank 'cause they got no billing details. They say they sent it to their "security team" but don't give any info.

My interaction with Fundly and Stripe has been utterly distressing and unacceptable
by Brandon

My interaction with Fundly and Stripe has been utterly distressing and unacceptable. After initiating a fundraiser and contributing $1,000 to my cause, Stripe promptly disabled my payment account, leaving me unable to receive donations. Despite persistent attempts to seek clarification, their responses were evasive and lacked transparency. They cited a vague "elevated risk of dispute charges" without providing concrete evidence or specifics. Moreover, while they refunded payments from other donors, they inexplicably withheld my own $1,000 contribution. Initially, they assured me of a brief 5-7 day hold on my funds, but this period extended outrageously to 120 days, causing significant financial distress and reputational damage. This experience reeks of incompetence, dishonesty, and a lack of accountability. It not only undermined my fundraising efforts but also jeopardized my trust in these platforms. I urge others to exercise caution when using Fundly and Stripe, as their actions border on fraudulent and unethical behavior.
