Joining was painles. I uploaded basics, got my EMBARC ID, and started courses. Suppliers took me more seriously once I flashed that card.

    Leads trickle, keep working

Directory listings bring a trickle, not a flood. I networked hard in forums and it started clicking. Credential helps, hustle still required.

    Useful but depends on you

Webinars are solid primers. I felt more confident quoting cabins, but the real lift came when I used the templates and kept practicing.

    Credibility boost for my agency

Enrollment was clear, webinars were useful, and the directory listing brought a few legit leads. Networking events and training helped me refine cruise sales. The value shows if you actually use the resources.

    Membership was straightforward

Joined online, got my EMBARC ID, and started e‑learning modules the same day. The portal’s clean, and the certifications roadmap is easy to follow.

Membership isn’t magic, but suppliers took me more seriously. Training’s legit. Use it and it pays off.

The Senior Management really cares about

The Senior Management really cares about its workers and provides opportunities for advancement and guidance. The company is evolving, but you can clearly see the importance of this change and the need to keep improving its staff.

Good benefits and some nice colleagues.

Good benefits and some nice colleagues. The Fort Lauderdale office is closed now, and CLIA is now located in Washington, DC. Cons A very disorganized place to work. There was a lot of favoritism, and every manager had different rules, so there was no consistency with OT pay or comp time. It's a small organization with limited opportunities for career advancement.

    I really enjoyed the cruise!

I really enjoyed the cruise! Everything about the trip was managed well! The tours were interesting, the food was filling and tasty, the room was comfortable with a nice balcony, the entertainment was great, and the excursions were exciting! The crew did their best to make sure I had a good time! Their friendly smiles and joy were a nice touch!

The company really cares for its team

The company really cares for its team and provides good chances for growth and support. There's some change happening, but I can see how it helps with developing the staff and keeping things moving forward.

    Pros&Cons

Pros Good benefits, and a few coworkers were supportive. Since the Fort Lauderdale office is shut down, CLIA now operates from Washington, DC. Cons A rather chaotic environment to work in. Favoritism was a constant issue, with managers each enforcing different guidelines, leading to unclear rules on overtime or comp time. Limited chances for career growth due to the organization’s small size.
