Imagine booking your dream vacation, only to face unexpected hurdles.

Imagine booking your dream vacation, only to face unexpected hurdles. I thought I had everything sorted with MB, but tragedy struck—my brother passed away just before our trip. Despite paying an extra $16 for flexibility, I was blindsided when told it wasn't enough without their pricey 'white glove service,' a hefty $148 on top of my $150 deposit. Feeling trapped, I reluctantly agreed. Later, when trying to finalize with another company, I faced the same demand for this unnecessary service. Why pay for what you don't need? Don't fall into the same trap I did. Read my story and rethink your travel plans wisely.

Deceiving

I saw a package to stay at a specific hotel in Orlando, with awesome amenities and purchased the package for 199, plus taxes and insurance and it came down to around 260. When booking for the dates I wanted, I had to call to confirm and, surprise, surprise, the dates I needed weren't available. I had to go for another hotel, that has way less amenities and not even close to the original hotel I purchased the package for. Not only that, but this only hotel option did not have availability for the 4 nights that should be in the package, only for three nights on the dates I needed, so I had to give up one night as well and book with another hotel on my own. That not being all, I had to pay and extra 150 deposit (which they claim is refundable once I check in to the hotel) and and extra 124 plus 9% service fee as insurance (again) in case something happens and I can't make it to the hotel. There is also a 2 hours timeshare presentation we need to participate in during our precious vacation days as well as a daily fee we will have to pay at the hotel. In the end, what was supposed to be a 199 stay at an awesome hotel for 5 days and 4 nights, became a 694 stay in a mediocre hotel for 4 days and 3 nights with a 2 hours presentation during our family vacation. I should have done my research before buying. If I had read these reviews, definitely would not have purchased this! Beware and be smart! Stay away!

Booksi is completely a scammer website.

Booksi is completely a scammer website. if you trust them, you will lose your money and your trip will be a dream as well. Such as the 5 nights Hawaii Resort trip , the price on their AD is 399, but finally, they will charge 440+298+375=1110, and they temporarily designate the property you maybe can use is Holiday Inn (not any resort they mentioned in the ADs). The cost of this cheap hetel for 5 day is just 1000 dollars on official website, but Booksi will charge you over 1100. Even you paid everything, you can not confirm that your reservation on Holiday Inn is really booked, you must wait until 28 days ahead your trip, they said you maybe can get confirmation to tell you that you can get your hotel booked or not. means your trip during that period maybe will be cancelled or delayed again. That means you paid everything, and the price is already higher than the normally price you book on the official hotel website, but finally, you can not make your trip at all

If a deal looks too good, it might

If a deal looks too good, it might be too good to be true. I reserved a 6-day trip to an all-inclusive resort in Cancun for $359, thinking it was a fantastic offer. However, I soon discovered that I needed to shell out an additional $400 for hotel fees and taxes before securing my dates. The resort I initially chose wasn't available, forcing me to select a different one. Despite the salesperson mentioning extra charges for airport-to-hotel transportation, my email confirmation from Booksi stated that transportation was included in the resort fees. This situation feels like a scam, and I regret falling for it. I'm limiting my losses to the $360 I've already paid; I won't be giving Booksi any more money, and I hope others are more cautious when dealing with this apparent scam.

Bait and switch SCAM!! Stay away from Booksi

I booked a vacation with this company last night. It was $59+ tax ($78.83) for 4 days, 3 nights in New Orleans. The money came out instantly. I got the message to call to confirm within 15 minutes. I called the number and waited over 25 minutes. I found another number to call and they picked up right away. I explained that I needed to confirm. My dates weren’t available, which I understood because it’s next week. So Corey searches to find another destination in my area that is available. Nashville comes up, I was fine with that. I asked a few more questions for clarification so he claimed he had to do another scan. Nashville was no longer available but he sees Branson. To sum this up, I ended up paying an extra $150+tax ($163.50) for a “refundable” deposit. After reading all of the negative reviews and seeing that I would have to pay an additional $280+ for resort fees, I decided to call and cancel this morning. After trying to get me to choose another destination/date, the agent canceled it. I asked if I would receive a confirmation email, she told me it was already sent. (I still haven’t received it). I asked about the refund, she proceeds to tell me they had me on a recorded line agreeing to terms and conditions. I reminded her that their policy promises a 100% refund if cancellation occurs within 3 days. She said that the $150+tax refundable deposit isn’t refundable (??) so she put it as a credit on my account. That’s useless because I don’t ever plan on using the company to book anything ever again. She claimed that she processed a refund for the $59+tax and I should receive an email confirmation (still haven’t received it). Please stay away from this company! Check other websites for all of the negative reviews! In the end, it doesn’t look like you’ll end up saving any money. The price that you see is only a small fraction of what you’ll end up paying. I hope I’m able to get my money back.

Beware of Hidden Terms and Deceptive Practices: Avoid Booksi

I recently encountered significant issues with Booksi’s vacation package policies that I feel compelled to share. Booksi insists that their terms and conditions clearly state that their "vacation package" requires travelers to be legally married and travel together to proceed with the reservation (reservation code 552235). However, this crucial information was never mentioned when I purchased the package to New York. Additionally, there was no mention of the mandatory 2-hour "time-share" presentation, which was an unwelcome surprise. As a result, my reservation and money were simply lost. I feel deeply disappointed and misled. The attendant attempted to sell me other vacation choices, but due to their unreliable posture, I could not accept any further offers. In conclusion, I strongly advise avoiding this company at all costs. Their lack of transparency and reliability has been a deeply frustrating experience.

Dont do it!

I clicked a link for a $69 4day 3night stay in A.C. Paid 112.89 Within minutes of my purchase they attempted to charge my card for an additional 131.89 which was declined. 9 minutes later they attempted it again. I immediately started to look into them, found they represented Monster reservation group out of Carolina. I attempted everything to make a reservation and was only given options of paying more for "a much better package that had immediate reservation dates open." With each call to them, I would be asked for more and more personal information "to have on file for my reservation" the last one being my d.o.b. I'm in the process of trying to get my money back but I'm sure it wont be refunded by them.

Total SCAM

Its a total SCAM. Don't buy any package from them. their website show you beautiful properties, and even when you check the availability in their website, you see its available. then when you want to book it, it says that call the number to confirm it. at this point, agent will tell you sorry, we don't have that property available. I am trying to use my package for past 3 month and no success. they suggest you to go to different destination with garbage properties that they are not able to sell online. its a definition of SCAM: selling something that doesn't exist.

It went just fine 🤷‍♀️

We booked a five night package at Secrets, Puerto Vallarta . The resort was three years old. We KNEW, from the get go, we would need to sit through a ninety minute presentation. The 'sales agent' wasn't hard sell, explained the packages, and dropped pricing many, many times. We didn't buy, and left with a hand shake. Meanwhile we enjoyed an 'adults only, all inclusive vacation'. We weren't treated any different than the other guests, at the property. We did pay an addition fee for taxes and resort fee, plus transportation to and from the resort. The property was an hour from the airport, and all was very professional. We will so do it again.

Attempted to make reservations but

Attempted to make reservations but encountered constant unavailability. The phone inquiry was an intrusive barrage, demanding income details, personal information, and even a soft credit inquiry. Shockingly, what seemed like a vacation offer turned out to be a 90-minute timeshare presentation. Attempts to cancel were met with resistance. Beware of undisclosed terms and conditions. The relentless high-pressure sales tactics and attempts to manipulate available dates were overwhelming. Strongly caution against engaging with this company and will share my experience to warn others on social media.

Don’t

I saw this great ad for trip to New Orleans. My 21 y/o granddaughter want to go there with me. I should have known, if sounds to good to be true, it is. Paid for it, & understood I have 18 months to take. Been getting multiple calls wanting me to schedule. Told everyone that has called that my husband is unable to travel with me d/t his medical conditions. Have been told, he has to be there to attend “presentation “. One person told me, I can transfer into my granddaughter name since she is single & 21. This way we can still have a nice trip, go to the presentation & everyone wins. Got another call to schedule yesterday. Told this person the details I have shared with you. Was told no my husband has to be there or my grandpa’s to be 30 years old. Oh, & of course I can’t get my money back. So DONT think you’re getting a good deal! & don’t book through this. I certainly won’t again .

Bought the New Orleans package for

Bought the New Orleans package for $199, enticed by the promise of flexible travel within 18 months. Attempted to book for Feb 12 - 15, but no slots were available. The reps' demeanor was disappointing - rude and unprofessional. To add to the frustration, the purchased travel insurance, supposed to ensure a refund, turned out to be a scam. Overall, a regrettable experience with this company's misleading offers and unhelpful customer service.

Frustrating Booking Experience

I've attempted multiple times to secure information about booking three rooms for early January 2024 with a 5-day extension at Krystal Nuevo or a similar 4 or 5-star hotel in Nuevo. The frustration arises from having to prepay for all three rooms without knowing availability. I've inquired about the fate of my payments if availability is lacking, but regrettably, no clear answers have been provided. This lack of transparency in the booking process has been disheartening and leaves much to be desired in terms of customer service.

Unpleasant surprise with hidden age

Unpleasant surprise with hidden age restrictions after payment. Disappointed by the need to argue for a refund, and insincere apologies. Attempts to bribe with a "$300 Hotel Savings Card" raised skepticism. Shared negative experience on various platforms. Company's lack of transparency and customer care leaves much to be desired.

I attempted to secure our much-anticipated

I attempted to secure our much-anticipated vacation through Booksi, only to find no available dates for Gaitlinbug. This was our sole vacation opportunity this year, and now it's spoiled. Booksi, you've taken my money and sabotaged our holiday plans.

Don’t walk- RUN!

Bought into a $59.99 trip and was immediately called and convinced to upgrade with 2 additional vacations for around $199.00. I was later contacted and told I was eligible for 2 additional 8 day vacations if I paid $274.00 and booked my 120 minutes timeshare presentation. I was not aware of the additional charges nor the mandatory presentation. This is deceptive marketing at its best. They are Not transparent in the criteria required to get your vacation. I highly recommend you do not do business with this company.

I'm currently staying at Dreams resort and spa booked through Booksi.

I'm currently staying at Dreams resort and spa booked through Booksi. It's legit. Good deal! I wasn't planning to buy the vacation package but attended the presentation. No pressure at all. Here's my tip. The packages are pricey but if you wait until the end when the sales manager comes in, the deal gets way better. This just isn't my thing. I like to explore and find cozy accomodations often not on Google or TripAdvisor. If you enjoy fancy hotels and all-inclusives, you should give this a look.

I booked a stay at the Madeira

I booked a stay at the Madeira Royal Savoy Hotel and paid upfront in February. There wasn't any indication that booking for solo travelers would be an issue. However, when I tried to book with my sister, I was told I couldn't. Even when I selected the option for two single females, it wasn't allowed. Customer support suggested I try booking elsewhere, but that wasn't an option either. Additionally, despite having 1.5 years to use my booking, most months weren't available for booking.

I bought a package from Booksi nearly 10 months back.

I bought a package from Booksi nearly 10 months back. Shortly after buying, I moved and couldn’t arrange a trip. When I finally could, I found out I didn’t qualify due to a flight perk my spouse has through work. After exchanging many emails with customer support, Ivan was very helpful and polite. I got a refund almost right away. I wish every company had staff like Ivan. Good job, Ivan. Booksi is lucky!

This outfit is a total scam! They take you money and tell you to go to their website to book your dates. Even though the dates show availability you can’t book so you have to call their representative who then tries to sale you a more expensive vacation. Never did get booked for any dates even a year out. These people are a bunch of cooks and they won’t refund your money. STAY AWAY

Scam and no Available dates

Tried numerous times to get a available date for the promo in Savanah but none available. I paid extra to ensure the deal. Asked for a refund. NOPE. Was told that the other deals were 3 nights instead of 4 and wanted a deposit. I truly believe that I was scammed.
