    You won't believe what happened

You won't believe what happened at Stansted Airport! I accidentally drove through without stopping and got slapped with a £100 express ticket. Felt super harsh since I barely spent any time there. I mean, I had prepaid parking elsewhere 'cause I was off on holiday, right? So, I decided to appeal it. I sent them the entry and exit times, showing there was hardly any difference, and even threw in proof of my prepaid parking. To my surprise, they actually canceled the fine! It was such a relief and, honestly, I didn't expect it to be sorted so quickly. Just a few days and it was all done. A bit of a hassle, but it ended well!

    I just had the most

I just had the most amazing experience chatting on the phone with Joan Harrison Scott! She was such a gem when I called about the Heathrow Terminal 2 drop-off. Honestly, she made everything so easy and simple to understand. It's rare to meet someone who genuinely seems to care and wants to help. Joan was just brilliant, answering all my questions with such patience. We definitely need more folks like her in customer service. It felt like talking to a friend rather than just a service rep. Huge thanks to her for turning what could've been a stressful call into such a pleasant experience. Cheers to Joan, you're the best!

I was rushing to catch a flight and somehow found myself at terminal 2 instead of terminal 3. Didn't even stop, just drove straight out and headed to terminal 3 to drop off my friend. Later, I saw they charged me twice, £6 for each terminal. I reached out to customer service and got in touch with Chris Parry. Explained the mix-up, and he totally got it. He checked the records and saw it was an honest mistake, so he removed the extra charge. Honestly, it was such a relief. It's rare to find someone who actually listens and uses common sense these days. Big thumbs up to Chris for being so understanding and fair.

I was struggling to renew my blue badge permit and was getting really frustrated. Then I decided to try the live chat feature, and that's where Morgan stepped in. Morgan was super helpful and quickly guided me through the process. It turned out it was just a mistake on my part, but Morgan didn't make me feel silly about it at all. In just a couple of minutes, my problem was sorted, and I was so relieved. Honestly, I couldn't have done it without Morgan’s help. Huge thanks to Morgan for being so patient and efficient! If you ever run into issues, the live chat is definitely the way to go.

    I had a little hiccup

I had a little hiccup at Didcot the other day. Rushed for the train, totally forgot to pay for parking. Next morning, panic set in. Reached out to APCOA through Apcoa Connect, not really expecting much. But then Leon came to the rescue. This guy was super helpful, said I could just pay the amount the next day even though I wasn't parked there anymore. Honestly, I was surprised at how easy it was. No hassle, no stress, just a simple, practical fix. Leon really turned what could've been a nightmare into a smooth experience. Big thumbs up to him!

I was at Manchester Airport the other day, and things got a bit mixed up. Took a wrong turn and ended up in the drop and go area without meaning to. Didn’t even stop, but still got charged. Wasn't sure what to do, but then I spoke to this amazing staff member, Sam Blasbery. She really went above and beyond to help me out. After I explained the situation, she managed to arrange a full refund for me. Honestly, it's rare to find such helpful and understanding staff at airports these days. Sam made what could have been a stressful experience into a positive one. Big thumbs up for her!

Honestly, it was quite the ordeal. We tried paying through the app, but it just wouldn't cooperate. With no other payment options available, my wife went ahead to her appointment. When she returned, they outright refused to send anyone out until payment was sorted. Here's the kicker: my wife is Deaf and can't use the phone. We explained the situation, hoping for some understanding, but it was like talking to a brick wall. In the end, she had to hand her credit card to a stranger in the parking lot to get things sorted. It's ridiculous that she had to rely on someone else for something she should've been able to do herself. Really disappointed in how this was handled.

    Llandudno Junction train station's parking

Llandudno Junction train station's parking situation was a real hassle. The machine had a sign saying it was out of order, and the only other option was to download an app. An elderly couple was struggling because they didn't have smartphones. I tried using the QR code on my phone, but it didn’t work. I then called "Customer Service" while rushing to catch my train, only to get stuck in an automated maze with endless options. When I finally got through, no one answered. Frustrated, we all ended up parking in a nearby neighborhood. It feels like Apcoa doesn’t care about customer service; it’s just another expense they avoid to protect their profits.

    Ridiculous time

You know, it's getting a bit ridiculous with these penalty notices. It's not the first time I've had to deal with this mess. Imagine opening your mail and finding yet another letter telling you to pay a fine you’ve already cleared. I’ve sent proof before, but it seems like nobody's checking their systems before firing off these notices. It's frustrating having to go through the appeal process again, and honestly, it's just a waste of paper and time. This time, I’m considering billing them for the stress and hassle. It’s about time they realize the inconvenience they’re causing. Double-checking on their end would save everyone a lot of trouble.

I was livid when I got a parking ticket, even though I’d already paid. I sent them my bank statement, proving everything, thinking it was just a mix-up. But their response? “We have carefully reviewed your appeal and the evidence provided, taking into consideration all the points you have raised and, on this occasion, we have decided to cancel this Parking Charge.” ON THIS OCCASION? Seriously, where's the apology for their mistake? They act like they did me a favor, but I was never in the wrong! It’s frustrating dealing with such incompetence. They make you feel like it's your fault when they mess up. Such a headache dealing with these guys!

We had this trip to Manchester and thought parking at the airport would be a breeze. Nope, both our cars got slapped with fines. We then headed to our hotel, the Ibis, thinking things would get better, but guess what? Another fine, just for driving around. We tried to appeal these fines, hoping for some understanding or a break, but the next thing we know, we're getting letters from a debt recovery agency. It's like they skipped the customer service part entirely. We weren't even actual customers, just trying to figure out the parking, and boom, penalties everywhere. Feels like they just don’t care about people trying to do the right thing.

Living in Sweden, parking's been a real headache. There's this one company that’s got a monopoly on parking spots, charging outrageous fees. I'm stuck paying 1300 SEK monthly for a spot in this huge lot, and there’s no other choice. Dealing with their customer service is frustrating. They pull all kinds of sneaky moves, like delaying sending me the parking keys until well after my contract started. Now, trying to end the contract is another nightmare. The terms are super vague, and they’ve extended my contract until the year’s end without any clear explanation. It feels like they’re making up rules as they go, and it’s really unfair.

I went through Manchester Airport recently and couldn't believe what happened. The barriers were gone, and there was no warning. It felt like they were just trying to take advantage of everyone, like some sneaky plan to grab more money. I mean, how can they just do that without letting us know? It seems so unfair and kind of shady. I left feeling frustrated and ripped off, like they were more interested in our wallets than giving us a smooth travel experience. It's hard to trust a place that seems more focused on profit than on treating people right. It was a really disappointing experience, and I hope they change things soon.

Using this app is like trying to solve a puzzle with missing pieces. Even on 5G, it just doesn’t work right! It's only somewhat functional on my home WiFi, which is pointless when I'm out parking. The app’s design feels like a school project gone wrong, clunky and outdated. My phone is fine, but the app makes everything so slow. I tried switching to the QR code method, but now that just leads to a broken webpage. The whole experience is frustratingly inconsistent, like it's intentionally bad. APCOA, please fix this mess! Let me tell you about my recent experience at Luton airport. I drove in, thinking it’d be a straightforward stop. Boy, was I wrong. The signs for payment options were almost invisible. I parked for just a couple of minutes, not realizing I was making a mistake. Next thing I know, I get slapped with a £95 penalty! It's like they’re setting traps for drivers who are just trying to figure things out. The whole setup feels like it’s designed to catch you off guard, rather than genuinely help. I mean, it’s an airport, right? You’d expect things to be clear and easy. Just watch out if you’re planning to drive there.

    Just not worth the hassle

I had a bit of a mishap with the parking at Manchester Airport Terminal 1. Forgot to pay for the drop-off until a day and a half later. When I tried to settle the payment within 48 hours, the APCOA website just wouldn't let me. Turns out, you have to pay by midnight the day after drop-off, which is a bit ridiculous. I'm really disappointed with Manchester Airport and APCOA for this tight deadline and the hefty charge for missing it. It seems like a sneaky way to make money, if you ask me. From now on, I'll be steering clear of Manchester Airport and their car parks. Just not worth the hassle.

    I parked my car in

I parked my car in what seemed like a legit spot, only to find it clamped when I returned. It was a nightmare! The local garda even said it was an illegal clamp and advised me to ask for my money back. Tried dealing with Apcoa, but they flat out refused to refund me. So, I took it up with the clamping regulator and, guess what, I won the appeal. But still, Apcoa's playing hardball, closing the case and ignoring the decision. It's like they're just out to take people's money with no intention of doing the right thing. If you're parking anywhere near them, keep your eyes open and be cautious!

You wouldn't believe the hassle I went through with this parking system. It messed up twice, making me pay for days I didn't even park there. Trying to sort it out was a whole other story. Customer service? Not much help, to be honest. They just told me to email them, which I'd already done. And that response took forever. I even asked about a form, and they just parroted back what they’d emailed me in the first place. It's frustrating because you expect these systems to work, right? Instead, they just end up draining your wallet. Definitely not the kind of experience I was hoping for.

Driving to Manchester T2 at night was a nightmare. I ended up taking a wrong turn while trying to find the meet and greet, and before I knew it, I was stuck on a one-way street. So many cameras snapped pics of my car, yet no one noticed I hadn't stopped or got out. I got hit with a £100 fine. I appealed, and the response was a masterpiece of patronizing, passive-aggressive nonsense. They let me off this time, but made it clear it was my fault for not reading signs. Seriously, the whole system needs a fix. Why not check the cameras properly before sending out fines and scaring folks?

You wouldn't believe what happened to me at Stansted Airport. I dropped off my family at the designated spot and then followed the line of cars out. There was no barrier, nothing to indicate where or how to pay, so I assumed they'd send a small bill later. Imagine my shock when a £100 fine arrived in the mail! I'm 85, not clueless. First call? They acted like they couldn’t hear me. Called again, and they said to get camera footage, which is way harder than it sounds. I recently parked at Winchester station. I tried to log on the app but couldn't due to bad WiFi. On the train, WiFi is bad. In London, I had WiFi and paid for parking from noon till 4am. I couldn't backdate to 10am, so paid extra. I appealed the fine, but they rejected it and said if I go to ombudsman, fine will be £85, not £50. They make it harder to appeal fairly. It's unfair to not consider I paid the right amount despite app issues.

I tried booking a parking spot

Last Sunday, I tried booking a parking spot at Coulsdon South for Mother’s Day. Thought it would be simple since it was a Sunday morning, but no luck. The website said ‘unavailable,’ so I had to go through their annoying chat line. They told me that while bookings are possible online, they can't be done on Sundays. I didn't want to risk finding no space when I got there, so I had to call a taxi for £20. Once I arrived, I saw plenty of parking spots, even though the station was bustling. On the way back from St Albans, I couldn't book a taxi because it was Mother’s Day. I ended up going to East Croydon to find one, costing me another £40. So, thanks to ACPOA’s ridiculous policy, we ended up spending £60. My wife and I are in our late 70s and can't walk far, which ruined our day.

    Friendliness and understanding stuff

I got this parking charge notice, but the letter went to the wrong address, so I missed the 28-day deadline to pay. Was a bit stressed about it, thinking it might go to debt collection. Called up customer support and spoke to Agnes. She was super helpful, listened to my situation, and sorted things out. Instead of passing the charge to debt collectors, she let me pay it over the phone. Honestly, her friendliness and understanding made the whole thing way less stressful. Felt like she really cared about helping me out. Big thanks to Agnes for making the whole process easier and for being such a lovely person to deal with!

But then, disaster struck—I lost my receipt, which I needed for work reimbursement. In a bit of a panic, I rang up customer service and spoke to Adam. This guy was a lifesaver! He got my receipts sent over again without any fuss. He was super polite and knew exactly what he was doing. From start to finish, it was a top-notch experience.
