Got off to a rough
by John S

Got off to a rough start with this company. They seemed swamped with orders and clearly didn’t have the staff to keep up. Waiting a whole month for my order was frustrating, to say the least. But, after what felt like forever, they finally shipped my order and even used express 2-day air to try and make up for lost time. Plus, they gave me a pretty generous discount on my purchase, which honestly made me feel kinda bad for being so harsh on them earlier. Communication was definitely lacking, which added to my frustration. But at the end of the day, they really did try to make things right. Reflecting back, I realize I could’ve cut them some slack. Mistakes happen, and it seemed like they were genuinely trying to fix theirs. Now, if you’re thinking of ordering, just don’t expect to get your stuff super quick. But I gotta say, once my sunglasses finally arrived, I barely took them off. They’re that good. Initially, I was ready to give them just 1 star. But considering all the effort they put in to rectify the situation, I’d bump it up to 4 stars. If that seems too generous, call it a 3. Either way, I think they made up for their mistakes in my book.

I got myself the Dusk
by Fernando

I got myself the Dusk glasses, was pretty excited about the whole tint-change thing. Initially, they seemed alright, a bit plasticky, but they did the whole 'cool' tint shift as promised. Used them on and off for about a year, no major complaints, just the usual wear and tear. But then, just a couple months after the warranty ran out, they decided to quit on me. No warning, no nothing – just stopped working. Kept them in a drawer for a week and when I took them out, they were dead. Tried reaching out to their support, hoping for some kind of solution or repair, but nope. They don't have any repair options. Instead, they offered me a discount on another pair. Seriously? So here I am, $300 down for glasses that worked for a year and are now just expensive plastic frames with no tint. Honestly, for that kind of money, I expected better durability. I could've gotten myself some high-end sunglasses from a reputable brand that would've lasted me years. Lesson learned, I guess. Definitely not spending another dime on Ampere products. Save your money and invest in something that’ll actually last.

It had a rough beginning, but they came through in the end.
by Johnny S

It had a rough beginning, but they came through in the end. They seemed short-staffed and had trouble handling all the orders they were getting, which still needs some work. After a month, my order finally shipped. They sent it express 2-day air to compensate for the delay and gave me a substantial discount on my purchase. I actually felt a bit bad for the amount of discount. The lack of updates was quite annoying, but they did make things right and worked hard to resolve the issue. Looking back, I could have been a bit easier on them, but I’d recommend giving them a shot. Don’t expect your sunglasses in a week, but I’ve had mine for a day and can’t seem to take them off, even for sleep lol. Initially gave them 1 star, but after everything, I’d rate them 4 stars. If you think I’m being too generous, consider it a 3, but they’ve made up for their errors in my view.

Their return policy is confusing and poor.
by Anonymous

Their return policy is confusing and poor. It says 30-day satisfaction guarantee. But later it mentions returns are only for wrong sizes and colors. Their “original” line is really uncomfortable. Only the “orthopedic” ones are decent. When I tried to return, they ignored me.
