    I had to cancel my hotel in Pattaya

    I had to cancel my hotel in Pattaya, Thailand, so I called the customer service line. In less than 3 minutes, I was speaking to a representative in the U.S. The agent was polite, helpful, and even offered me some advice for my future travels. He handled the cancellation quickly and refunded me over $300. Overall, a smooth experience. I will keep booking through Expedia for my future trips.

    I've been with this company for ages.

    I've been with this company for ages. Today's customer service was far from average. I spent over four hours trying to change a flight and hotel booking for three days. They overcharged me $1,400 due to a "system error" and wanted me to pay again. They said the refund would take 7-10 days.

    Horrible experience with this company. Be careful when using their website to book. I made a mistake and called right away to fix it. After a long wait, they said it was my fault and would cost me double to change.

    We reserved a Sixt rental car using the Expedia website.

    We reserved a Sixt rental car using the Expedia website. The email confirmation clearly mentioned that the booking could be fully refunded if cancelled at least 48 hours before pick-up. But when we contacted Expedia to cancel, they said they can’t or won’t give a refund. Below is a copy of the Expedia cancelation policy. Cancellation and no-show 100% refund if you cancel up to 48 hours before pick-up. Cancellations made after that till the time of pick-up are subject to a fee of EUR 50.00 (approximately AU$85.78) or amount paid online, whichever is lesser. There will be no refund in case of cancellations made after that or no-shows. Get 100% refund on insurance if it is cancelled before pick-up time. This will be cancelled automaticaly with your car cancellation.

    Absolut worst company.

    Absolut worst company. Complete scam. Said they would give a refund, even emailed proof, then took $205.00 as a “processing fee.” Many months, many calls to their awful customer service, and still no money. Watch out for this company. Hides behind foreign call centers, takes huge fees that feel like theft, and never gets caught. So many unhappy, cheated customers. Again, avoid them!

    We booked a hotel with Expedia.

    The room didn't have proper air conditioning and the second room was on another floor which had a sewage problem. This room was 81 degrees when we were offered it. The hotel said they couldn't refund because we booked through Expedia and then Expedia said it was up to the hotel. They don't take care of issues. They just make sure they get their money. DO NOT USE THEM.

    Nem vagyok benne biztos, hogy érdemes véleményt írni, tekintve a gyenge 1,2-es összértékelést. Az a bajom, hogy a szálloda megbüntetett minket, mert az Expedián keresztül foglaltunk. 60 eurót kértek a parkolásért, míg ha közvetlenül foglaltunk volna, ingyenes lett volna. Ez a 60 euró nagyban befolyásolta a végső költséget. Korábban már használtuk az Expediát Thaiföldi nyaraláshoz, de legközelebb csak akkor fogjuk, ha előbb ellenőrzöm a szállodánál. A hotel sem volt túl jó, annak ellenére, hogy 3,9 pontot kapott az 5-ből.

    Már több mint húsz éve használom az Expedia-t, de többet nem fogom! Call centert használnak, és sosem küldenek e-mailt a repülőjegy információkkal!! Rengeteg időt kellett töltenem, hogy megkapjam az adatokat! És soha nem tudtam visszajutni az Expedia weboldalára az "Itinerary record locator" kóddal!! Nagyon csalódott vagyok. Ráadásul sem a Delta, sem az American Airlines, sem a bankom nem tud segíteni, ha harmadik fél által foglaltál!
