    The doctors I spoke with were knowledgeable and eager to help me and my cats. They mentioned that if the treatments didn't work, I should reach out again and we could try something else. Very friendly and straightforward. After just a few visits, the yearly subscription has already been worth it, as I would have paid more at a regular vet for minor issues. They didn't rush into changing my cats' diets like other vets, and they actually gave me medication and probiotics for my cats' food. Remember that treatments (meds) are extra, not covered by the annual or monthly fee, but they are quite cheap and delivered to your home. They might even match prices if you find a lower cost elsewhere. You can also get pet insurance and add up to 5 pets (cats/dogs only) without paying extra for the additional pets!

    Dutch was really convenient! After working in rescue for a long time, knowing what treatments are needed becomes second nature. But getting vet appointments has been tough lately. Some local vets are fully booked, while others aren't taking new patients, which delays important care. Dutch solved all those problems! I could schedule an appointment right away, the telehealth exam was simple, and the only tricky part was keeping my energetic kitten still. They even shipped out Sylvester's meds. I've been recommending Dutch to everyone I know, and I'll definitely use it again!

    Provided ample time, went over details the local vet missed, concurred that $2k in testing was nearly useless until we tested a few things, had a plan ready in no time, secured the first appointment within two hours of enrolling, and took advantage of a sale so it was only $80 for the year. Prescriptions are meant to be sent, and there’s no reason to doubt it like some reviews mentioned. Really the best $80 I’ve spent lately.

    I have 5 cats.

    I have 5 cats. When one falls ill, they all catch it. Dutch is really good. They handle all kinds of pet problems and offer a wide range of pet medicines. I’ve had 3 different appointments with the Dutch vets. Two were because of a virus one of my cats brought home from an urgent visit and one has a small infection after being neutered. I was quite anxious before the visits but felt much better after the calls.

    They assisted me in obtaining medicine for a stray cat when I couldn't find any local vet to assist. I'm very happy I discovered Dutch. If you’re looking to help a stray that you can't transport to a vet, I suggest checking out Dutch. If you’re unable to take your animals to the vet for any reason, then Dutch is the place you should consider; it's inexpensive and simple to use.

    Dr. Greener was really amazing.

    Dr. Greener was really amazing. She paid close attention and showed alot of care about Piper’s case. I felt like someone finaly understood what we were going through.     My 18-year-old blind cat required BP

    My 18-year-old blind cat required BP medicine, and I knew her end was close. I didn’t want to stress her out with a vet visit when all I needed was some amlodipine for her BP.     I used Dutch to get a zoom appointment with a licensed vet for my dog. The vet was able to diagnose, offer a treatment plan and prescribe medication. The vet was knowledgeable, friendly and genuinely cared about my pet. My dog is healthy again and it's a big relief.

    This company's vets really helped my German Shepherd. He was anxious but Dutch made him better. Meds sometimes took a while, but service was helpful. Paying for a year was a good choice, helps with my pit bull's vet bills too.

    This firm is great!

    This firm is great! They saved me lots on flea meds. The site is easy to use, and the schedule is super flexible. You can even see the vet at 6pm on Sunday! Meds arrive in three days. I'll stick with them forever!

    The vet who looked after my

    The vet who looked after my pet was really nice and caring. She checked my pet thoroughly when it was sick and gave us medicine that was sent to our home. I didn't give a perfect score because it took almost 2 weeks to get the medicine. But the company's owner emailed me to explain the delay, which was nice. I've already told my friends about Dutch! It's a good company to try out.

    Overall, the company is okay, but it takes like 8-9 days to get your prescriptions, which is kinda silly! Just know, if you need something fast, it's not gonna happen. Also, you only get 10 minutes with the vet. Mine was 5 and we chatted mostly about the holiday. Might save money, but I think shipping should be faster for sure!

    I signed up for Dutch's $35 monthly plan, but they charged me $132 for a full year, which I didn’t ask for. Now, I can’t reach them by phone or email. If they don’t get back to me, I’ll dispute the charge with my credit card and they’ll lose out. Please return my $132.

    Hidden Charges and Sudden Price Changed

    I am absolutely furious with Dutch, the online pet pharmacy, and I feel obligated to warn every pet owner to stay far, far away from this company. Over the past six months, they’ve been charging my credit card different prices than what I agreed to—without any notification or consent. Check your credit card statements if you use them, because they will sneak charges through and hope you don’t notice. That alone would be enough to lose my trust, but it gets worse. They’ve randomly canceled my pet’s critical medication subscriptions without informing me, leaving my pet vulnerable and me scrambling to find alternatives last minute. They agreed to price match a generic medication, and then days later told me they changed their policy and won’t honor it anymore, claiming the medication is now a “brand” (it’s not—it’s generic and always has been!). Their shifting excuses are absolutely absurd. I was told one thing, and then the terms changed mid-process with zero accountability on their end. Their customer service is downright appalling—unhelpful, dismissive, and routed overseas to representatives who either don’t have access to accurate information or simply don’t understand the situation. No one takes ownership, no one follows through, and their system is a chaotic mess that puts your pet’s health at risk. Dutch is shady, unreliable, and unprofessional. I’m done with them, and I strongly urge other pet owners to protect their wallets—and their pets—and go elsewhere.

    Horrible shipping policies

    The vet we spoke with was very good. However, Their pharmacy is awful. My dog needed an antibiotic. It's one week for processing and then one week for shipping. The medicine still hasn't arrived. I asked for the prescription to get it locally but they just ignored me.

    The site claims you can get flea meds without a vet appointment. After you sign up they instruct you to schedule an appointment with their vet. They won't refund your money even though their service is useless.

    Had a great experience with Dr. Hofmann. Figuring out the Zoom call was a bit tricky, especially with my cat who wasn’t too thrilled about it. Dr. Hofmann was super patient and really knowledgeable. Doing the consultation from home is so much easier, especially since my senior cat isn’t a fan of being handled. I worry about him being exposed to illnesses at the vet's office, so this was perfect. The cost is reasonable, and I can care for all my cats under one plan. Scheduling is flexible, and the vet even followed up the next day to check if everything was okay. Prescriptions get sent straight to the house, which is super convenient.     Wow, Dr. Afraz was incredible. We managed to get a call just two hours after booking, even on the regular plan, which was a huge relief. The call was at 9:40pm, and I couldn't believe they offered such late hours. I booked at 7:45pm and didn't expect to see anyone the same day. The vet was kind, knowledgeable, and provided great advice for my cat's condition. She also sorted out my cat's meds immediately, and the website was a breeze to use. She even followed up with us today. I'm really impressed with this service and have already told several friends about it. With six cats, frequent vet visits are pricey and time-consuming. This service is fantastic, and the peace of mind it gave me was invaluable.
