WhiskerDocs is a good company. The supervisors help you grow. Shifts are 4 to 6 hours, and you can choose phone, chat, or both. The hardest part is understanding people, handling multiple chats, and dealing with angry clients. Despite working from home, there are downsides. Sometimes you get scheduled for hours you didn't agree to. The pay is lower than other companies. You use your own computer, which isn't great. The software can be frustrating, crashing or refusing to load. With time and better software, many issues may improve or disappear. If you want to leave clinic work or earn extra money, give it a try. You'll learn a lot and help many pet owners.

This company is the most chaotic and poorly run place I've ever worked. The management is a MESS. They believe that pet poison control isn't capable, so they avoid telling anyone to call them and also discourage referring to an ER unless the pet is clearly showing signs of toxicity. They act like they know it all (they don't) but don't provide the necessary resources in many cases. Problems will always end up being your fault, even when it's obviously theirs. They refuse to take suggestions, recommendations, or any feedback. Management is petty, unhelpful, and unwilling to step in during high workload times. Be ready to be overworked and not valued or respected.
