    I had to get my

I had to get my car towed recently and honestly, the tow driver was fantastic. Super polite and knew what he was doing. He was quick to respond and made the whole process smooth. The only hiccup was the initial communication - it was a bit all over the place and not as clear as it could’ve been. But once we got past that, everything else was pretty solid. Got my car moved without any fuss and for a fair price too. Overall, it turned out to be a good experience despite the rocky start. Would probably use them again if I had to.

    I was really skeptical about

I was really skeptical about this company at first. I talked to this guy named Jose, and he was pretty rude and impatient which made me feel like I was getting scammed. It was not a great start. But then I called the main office and spoke to this super nice woman who explained everything clearly. She was really helpful and made me feel more confident about moving forward with the sale. So I went ahead with it and felt much better after speaking to her. Thanks for the help, really appreciate it.

    I had a decent experience

I had a decent experience overall, but man, the wait for the tow truck was a real drag. The driver took almost 2 hours to show up and it felt like he didn't really care about my time. I was stuck there twiddling my thumbs, getting more and more frustrated. Once he finally arrived, things went smoothly and he got my car to the shop without any issues. But seriously, that wait was rough and kinda put a damper on the whole thing. If they could sort out their timing, it would be way better.

    I used Copart to sell

I used Copart to sell my car and it was mostly a smooth experience. Got an online offer, but it dropped a bit after the next step – kinda expected that. What threw me off was another party calling and wanting to swing by with a cash offer. I only reached out to Copart, so that was weird. Other than that, everything went alright. The process was straightforward, no big surprises, just that one odd moment. Overall, it worked out fine, just keep an eye out for unexpected calls.

    When I first talked to

When I first talked to Robert, the assessor, everything was smooth. He was super helpful. But after that, it all got a bit messy. Had to repeat myself to different people, which was frustrating. Sent documents via email and somehow, they still didn't seem to get it. Felt like I was going in circles. But in the end, it all worked out.

    So we started off by

So we started off by requesting a quote online, and that part was super easy. But after that, things went downhill. We had to play phone tag for two days because the person in charge of approving the title pictures wouldn't respond to the reps working with us. It was really frustrating. Then, when it came time to schedule the pickup, the lady we spoke to was rude and didn't seem to care about finding a time that worked for us. The pickup didn’t happen until the next week, and to top it off, the check they gave us had our name misspelled, so our bank wouldn't accept it. It took even more phone calls to finally get a new check. Most of the reps were friendly and the offer for our car was fair, but the whole process was far from smooth.

    The experience was a bit

The experience was a bit of a mess. I got to the place to drop off and the receptionist told me to call instead of handling things there. They gave me a wrong number, something about a medical device, which was weird. After a bit of Googling, I found the right number and got set up with an offer, but then nobody seemed to know where exactly to drop off the car. We ended up leaving it in the wrong place initially. Eventually, everything got figured out, but the staff seemed pretty confused and didn’t give clear directions. It felt like everyone was on a different page, which made the whole thing more complicated than it needed to be.

I had a bit of a rollercoaster with this company. Initially, my husband dealt with them remotely, and the English wasn't great, which made things a bit tricky. They offered him a hundred dollars more over the phone, but then never showed up to close the deal. We weren't sure where the mix-up happened. When I called and they finally came to buy it, they offered a hundred dollars less and wouldn't negotiate. That part was frustrating. However, the local branch in Andrews, TX, was great with communication and made the actual pickup process smooth and hassle-free. Mixed feelings overall, but the local team was solid.

    When the tow truck driver

When the tow truck driver showed up to get my truck, he mentioned it was in great shape, and I agreed. The engine had only 9,000 miles, and I couldn't figure out what went wrong with it. I get that age and mileage affect the price, but my truck was worth more than what I got. I decided not to invest any more into it, but I really think someone from the company should come out and assess it properly for a fair deal. It's a bit frustrating to feel like the value wasn't accurately reflected. The staff seemed to do their job right, but a closer look at the vehicle might have been more fair.

    Decent experience

So I had this driver come to pick up my car. He called me ahead, which was nice, but turns out he couldn't speak English. Made communicating a bit tricky. The person I talked to first should have told me this – would've saved some confusion. Just a quick heads-up like "Hey, the driver doesn’t speak much English but he knows what to do" would have been helpful. Besides that, everything was pretty smooth. The driver was really friendly, and we managed to understand each other well enough in person. Overall, it was a decent experience with just a small hiccup in communication.

    Selling my car through them

Selling my car through them was mostly smooth, but there was a hiccup. Initially, they gave me a decent offer, and even confirmed it twice in the following weeks. I felt pretty good about it. But when the day came to finalize everything, they suddenly lowered the offer by over $500. I was caught off guard and didn't really have a choice since my car was already there and all the paperwork was ready to go. Felt a bit stuck, honestly. The process itself was easy, but that last-minute change left a sour taste. I just wish they had been upfront from the start.

    Sold my car to this

Sold my car to this company recently. The whole process was alright, but the communication was a mess. We set a date and time, but then I heard nothing. Tried calling on the day, but no one had a clue. Even the towing company didn't have a phone number listed anywhere. It was frustrating. After calling again the next day and expressing my annoyance, a lady finally managed to get someone to come over. At least the tow truck driver was friendly and professional. Overall, the sale went through, but they really need to get their communication sorted out.

    I had a rough time

I had a rough time with the pick-up arrangements. I was given a specific time window, but when the guy came, I missed his call and he didn't leave any message. It felt like I paused my whole day for nothing. When I finally reached out to customer service, the man I spoke to was initially rude, claiming I was given the wrong times by someone else. The whole ordeal wasted a lot of my time, and it was hard to get any real answers or even reach customer service in the first place. Overall, it was just a frustrating experience.

I dropped my car at the repair shop on Thursday, they said it would be ready by Friday. Took the day off from work to pick it up, but no one called or emailed to let me know it wasn’t going to happen. So I waited the whole day, thinking they'd be in touch. It’s Monday now and I still haven't heard anything. It’s frustrating because I could’ve used that day off for something else, and now I’m left without my car and no updates. I get that things happen, but some communication would be nice.

Dealing with this company was pretty smooth. We handled everything through calls and texts, which was super convenient. They even came to our house to pick up our fifth wheel RV. I was a bit bummed about the price, though—I was expecting around $800 more. But honestly, the whole process was so hassle-free, it kinda made up for the lower offer. It was nice not having to deal with too much back-and-forth. All in all, it was a decent experience, just wish the price was better.

I was expecting a repair guy to come around 9:00, like he said he would. By 11:30, no sign of him, so I called again. He assured me he was on his way. Fast forward to 4:30, I get a call saying he’s outside my house. Thing is, I was out running errands at the store and told him he'd have to wait a bit. It was really annoying having my whole day disrupted like that. Communication could definitely use some work.

Dealing with CashForCars was a bit of a rollercoaster. I’d chatted with an agent beforehand, though I had some trouble understanding him at times. I figured everything was sorted, but when the tow truck driver showed up, he went to the wrong apartment complex. I had given detailed directions, so that was a bit frustrating. Then, came the kicker – the offer. I was quoted a certain amount online and over the phone, even took a pic of it. But when it came time to seal the deal, I got $128 less. The driver mentioned something about my SUV’s engine knocking, but the site said it wouldn’t matter. Felt like I got shortchanged. Picked them over dealerships because their offer seemed better, but lesson learned.

    Real headache

Man, dealing with the call center was a real headache. I mean, every time I called, it felt like I'd won the lottery of confusion. It’s like they hired a crew of speedy talkers who barely understood me, and I couldn’t understand them either. I ended up speaking to a whole crowd of them – must’ve been ten different people – and each time, I had to start from scratch, repeating my story over and over. They needed every scrap of paperwork I had on the car, which was just exhausting. Took me two whole days of back-and-forth calls just to get a tow arranged. Honestly, the whole process was way more complicated than it needed to be.

    Dealing with C4C was smooth

Dealing with C4C was smooth, but the tow company? A complete disaster. They called saying they'd be there in 30 minutes, so I got an Uber for $40 to meet them. But they showed up 4 hours late! I called to complain, but nobody cared. No follow-up, nothing. When the driver finally arrived, he didn't speak English, so I had to help with the paperwork. Lucky for me, I speak two languages. I lost hours of work, was stuck at a dealership in a different town, and missed my kids coming home from school. The whole experience was awful. Never using that tow company again!

I had a bit of a frustrating experience when I called customer service recently. I spoke with three different people, and honestly, I had a tough time understanding them. It's pretty clear they weren't fluent in American English. I had to keep asking them to repeat themselves, which made the whole process way longer than it should've been. It would be really helpful if the company made sure their call centers hired people who could speak and understand American English well. It'd make things a lot smoother for everyone involved.

    I thought I was saying

I thought I was saying goodbye to our beloved family car, Lucy, by sending her to a junkyard where her parts would help other RAV4s live longer. Lucy had been with us for 10 years and seen us through so much. But turns out, she’s not going to the junkyard. Instead, she’s being auctioned off to be fixed up and driven by someone else. While it's nice knowing she'll be back on the road, I wanted her to rest and contribute her parts to other cars. It's bittersweet, really – Lucy's journey continues, just not the way I had imagined.

    So, I tried out this

So, I tried out this car salvage website and it was a bit of a mess. First, they asked for my odometer reading, which was fine. But then someone from their office calls and tells me my salvage value is lower because of some US reporting thing I've never heard of. The real kicker was the pickup date. They said they'd come between 6:00 and 7:00 pm but didn't show up until 8:45 pm. I was pretty annoyed, but at least the scheduler and tow operator were friendly. Honestly, I'd rate them lower if it weren't for those two.

    Frustrating experience

Tried to sell my old car through Cash for Cars recently. They made an offer and had Active Towing & Transportation pick it up. Got everything ready, including finding the title. When the driver arrived, he seemed annoyed that I had the title because he'd already paid $20 to check it with the DMV. Then he said the offer from Cash for Cars was too high since he'd have to cover registration and repairs. I thought the car was just going to be scrapped, but he insisted it was his call as the buyer. He barely looked at the car and offered me $100 or said he'd just leave since he drove over an hour. I said no to the $100, and he left. Frustrating experience.

They didn’t even try to hide the fact that they weren't planning to pay me right there. Instead, they said the money would come through Zelle, but guess what? Still waiting. They also dodged filling out the release of liability, which just seemed off. It's like they were trying to cut every corner possible. Really felt like I was dealing with some shady characters. I recently dealt with this "cash for cars" company to sell my truck, and it’s been a mess. They bought my truck but then suddenly realized there was an issue with the title. They’re saying I put the wrong seller name on it, but I checked, and it looks fine to me. I’ve tried calling them several times, but no one picks up. I’ve even replied to their emails, hoping for some guidance, but nothing. I spent another half hour today just trying to get someone on the phone. I'm stuck waiting for them to get back to me with some useful information because I have no clue what’s actually wrong. Feeling really frustrated.

Man, what a rollercoaster! Martha was absolutely amazing—she really knows how to make someone feel taken care of. But then came the phone call. Oh boy, talk about a disaster. Whoever's running that call center needs a serious wake-up call. It's like talking to a brick wall, and I've heard some horror stories, but this was next level. It's frustrating because I work in the industry at Caliber body shops, and we hear these stories all the time. But the tow truck driver? Total pro. Handled everything smoothly and professionally. It's just a shame the call center dropped the ball so hard.

I decided to sell my 2014 VW Jetta to Cash for Cars and was told by Araceli Mino that someone would contact me within a day or two to arrange pickup. Sounded simple, right? But now, almost two weeks later, my Jetta is still parked at the body shop, gathering dust. Each brand on RealReviews.io belongs to a specific category, where it holds a position in the top rankings. The ranking is determined by various factors, such as the overall rating on the site, the number of reviews, the business's activity in managing reviews, engagement with customers, and more.

CashForCars.com is 10 out of 17 best companies in Vehicle Shopping on RealReviews.io

About CashForCars.com

CashForCars.com presents a streamlined and efficient solution for individuals looking to sell their vehicles. Whether you're dealing with a barely running car or near-perfect condition, this service caters to a wide range of automotive needs. A part of Copart.com, which has a substantial background in salvage vehicles, CashForCars.com has established itself in the industry. Their process is simple, aiming to remove the usual hassles of selling a vehicle. The question "Is CashForCars.com legit?" is common, and their transparent process, including instant quotes and same-day payments, provides a reassuring answer.

Vehicle Purchase Services

CashForCars.com specializes in purchasing various vehicles, including cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, boats, and even RVs. The process is notably convenient, offering services for vehicles in various conditions, from nearly new to significantly damaged. This flexibility makes it a suitable option for a broad range of sellers.

One of the key selling points of CashForCars.com is their instant cash offer. This feature simplifies the selling process, especially for those looking for a quick and straightforward transaction. Additionally, their free towing service for inoperable vehicles further enhances the convenience for sellers. The process involves a few simple steps: contacting CashForCars.com, receiving an instant offer, and scheduling a pickup time, followed by immediate payment upon vehicle collection.

The presence of 200 locations nationwide ensures accessibility and convenience for sellers across different regions. Their nationwide operation and free towing services extend their reach beyond major cities to more rural areas, ensuring no potential seller is left out. "Is CashForCars safe?" Yes, considering their straightforward, transparent process and the positive feedback from numerous satisfied customers. Sellers have noted the service's speed, efficiency, fairness, and transparency, making it a reliable option in the vehicle-selling market. Let's continue this CashForCars review and focus on the most important aspects.

Selling Process and Evaluation

The vehicle sales process at CashForCars.com is straightforward and user-friendly, reflecting its commitment to convenience and efficiency. One of the cornerstones of this process is their online quoting system, which is a major factor in answering the question, "Is CashForCars.com reliable?" This system lets sellers quickly input details about their vehicle, such as make, model, year, and condition, to receive an instant quote. This appraisal method is designed to be hassle-free, providing sellers with a quick understanding of their vehicle's value without the need for extensive consultations or physical inspections.

For those preferring a more traditional approach, CashForCars.com also offers on-site evaluations. Their team of experts can thoroughly appraise the vehicle, taking into account its condition, market value, and other relevant factors. This dual approach to vehicle appraisal – both online and on-site – ensures sellers have options that best suit their preferences and circumstances.

The reliability of CashForCars.com's evaluation process is further enhanced by its use of up-to-date market data and expertise in the automotive industry. The company's appraisal methods are designed to provide fair and competitive offers, making the selling experience straightforward and transparent for the vehicle owner.

Payment and Pricing Structure

The company's pricing policy is based on a flexible approach to the analysis and evaluation of each vehicle. The technical condition of the vehicle, the year of manufacture, the degree of wear of certain parts, visual aspects, and dozens of other characteristics are taken into account. This is why you will not be able to find a standard pricing page on the website. Each vehicle receives an expert assessment and is then published on the website. So, is CashForCars real? Yes, largely thanks to such an honest financial policy.

Once a seller accepts an offer, the payment process is swift and straightforward, underscoring the company's commitment to efficiency. Sellers receive payment at the time of vehicle pickup, which can often be arranged within 24 hours of accepting an offer. This expedited payment process is a significant advantage for sellers looking for immediate financial return on their vehicles.

Regarding discounts and promotions, while there's no specific mention of a "CashForCars discount code," the company's competitive pricing strategy ensures sellers get a fair market value for their vehicles. This, combined with their fast payment process, positions CashForCars.com as an attractive option for those looking to sell their vehicles quickly and efficiently.

The "CashForCars order" process, from appraisal to payment, exemplifies the company's commitment to a customer-centric approach, offering convenience, speed, and reliability. This streamlined method of selling vehicles is a testament to the company's dedication to providing a positive selling experience.

Towing and Vehicle Pickup Services

CashForCars.com's towing and vehicle pickup services are integral to its customer offering, ensuring a hassle-free experience. "Is CashForCars a scam?" No!
