I bought a Wahoo Tickr for £40, only to discover a fault.

I bought a Wahoo Tickr for £40, only to discover a fault. Attempting to return it became an ordeal; the website indicated a refund of only £33.32, and return postage wasn't covered. Contacting customer service proved futile, with a non-responsive chatbot and an unfulfilled promise of transfer to a human agent. The frustrating experience has left me disappointed, as a once-loyal 'wahooligan.' The lack of clarity on the refund amount and the unresponsive customer service have prompted me to explore alternatives like Garmin for future purchases, questioning my loyalty to Wahoo's products and service standards.

Ordered an Elemnt Rival watch, delivered

Ordered an Elemnt Rival watch, delivered promptly, but the build quality is disappointing. The backlight issue seems widespread, indicating a manufacturing flaw. Contacting support is needlessly cumbersome, navigating through repetitive automated responses to reach a human, with lengthy periods of silence. The system's creation of a new support ticket with each chat entry further hinders issue resolution. The request to physically break the faulty watch for a replacement is puzzling and awaiting acknowledgment adds to the unfavorable initial experience with Wahoo.

Purchased a Rival smartwatch

Purchased a Rival smartwatch, but encountered a problem. When not linked to the app or head unit, it loses time. Contacted Wahoo, and they acknowledged the issue, stating it only functions when connected. Nowhere in the specifications does it mention this limitation. If you're okay with a watch that can't keep time independently, then this might suit you. But who wants a watch that's only useful when connected? Definitely not me.

Purchased my V5 Kickr directly from Wahoo

Purchased my V5 Kickr directly from Wahoo 6 months back, only to discover recently that virtual shifting on Zwift won’t be supported. Before buying, I was told by their rep it would be available this year, so this news feels like a letdown. I own most of their products and WAS a faithful customer!! I’m quite unhappy and feel like I’ve been misinformed during the sale!!!!

I told Wahoo about a problem I had with the app.

I told Wahoo about a problem I had with the app. They got back to me the next day, saying they knew about it and were fixing it. Good customer service. Keep it up!

Attempting to obtain a response

Attempting to obtain a response to a basic inquiry proved challenging, as the individual assisting me seemed less informed than myself.
