    Scheduled a full highlight, cut, and blowout, but after 5.5 hours, my hair lacks highlights. Disappointingly, the top and bottom halves differ in color. A closer look reveals pink and bleached orange parts, documented with pictures. Overall, the experience was subpar.

    The company isn't good. Employees shouted at me when I asked for my change. They accused me of lying, but another customer saw and confirmed my story. No apology was given.

    Poor customer service

    I recently had quite an experience with a store's advertising. I bought two GWP Murad items online because the website promised them, but when I called their customer service, they said they were out of stock. It was frustrating to see them still advertising something they didn't have. I even stopped by their store, hoping to sort it out, but the staff just shrugged and suggested ordering online next time. They really should train their staff better. In the end, I returned the items and decided to buy directly from Murad instead. It was a lesson in checking availability before getting my hopes up. Hopefully, they'll sort out their advertising and customer service soon.

    So, here's what happened with my latest shopping experience. I ordered some stuff from Ulta, and things went south pretty fast. My package was stuck for a whole week, and I couldn’t get any useful help. Tried the chat, which kept looping me back to my order status, and then customer service via text, but got crickets. I even got a survey to rate items I hadn’t received yet! When I emailed them, the chatbot, Astrid, just kept repeating how "eager" I must be and told me to wait more. No explanation about the survey, nothing. Finally, after waiting more days, I had to contact them again to cancel the order and get my money back. Really frustrating.

    I decided to try shopping

    I decided to try shopping at Ulta through their app, but it was a total mess. The app kept glitching, and although it took my money, I never received an order number. Frustrated, I called customer service, hoping they'd sort it out, but they were no help at all. It felt like they were just wasting my time, keeping me on hold for ages. They told me they’d hold my money for 3-5 days, and if I wanted my products, I’d have to buy them again. What? I already paid once! And don't even get me started on trying to speak to a supervisor—they’re never there, and they never call back. This experience makes me rethink shopping at Ulta.

    Lesson learned, I suppose

    Years ago, I ran into a hiccup with an online order, and ever since, my online shopping account’s been locked. Figured it was time to sort it out, so I reached out to customer service. Was hoping for a bit of help, maybe an explanation, but they just shot back an email saying the account won’t be unlocked and the case is closed. No apology, no fix, nothing. It's like talking to a brick wall. Pretty disappointed, honestly. I thought they’d at least try to make it right. Guess I'm taking my business elsewhere from now on. Lesson learned, I suppose.
