It pains me to express my disappointment
by Anonymous

It pains me to express my disappointment with Safe Ship Movers, as my encounter with them has been nothing short of calamitous, prompting me to caution potential patrons. Despite their initial portrayal of reliability, the reality was a stark contrast, with the company failing miserably in fulfilling their commitments. The decision to outsource the moving responsibility not once but twice, first to Frontline and then to Barahones, only added layers of complexity and diminished accountability. The individual dispatched by Barahones exhibited not only dissatisfaction and irresponsibility but also a glaring lack of basic communication skills necessary for such a crucial undertaking. With no proficiency in English and a complete disregard for the safety of my possessions, the outcome was catastrophic, resulting in the abandonment or disappearance of over $250,000 worth of my belongings. The dearth of information and negligence has left me grappling with distress and uncertainty regarding the fate of my valuables. This ordeal sharply contrasts with the professionalism and organization promised by Javier from Safe Ship, who committed to overseeing my move for $2,000. Similarly, Tom's assurances of precision and coordination swiftly evaporated after a $2,000 payment, with no further communication. As of today, my relocation is in disarray, with some items lost in the hands of the third subcontractor, Barahones, and others left in a state of chaos. Far from being a safe or secure experience, I now face the daunting challenge of attempting to recover half a million dollars' worth of property, prompting me to initiate disputes with JPMorgan Chase in a desperate attempt to salvage this situation. I strongly caution against entrusting Safe Ship Movers with your move. This company transcends mere incompetence; it embodies negligence and unprofessionalism, seemingly operating with the singular intention of defrauding customers and causing distress. Heed my warning: avoid Safe Ship Movers at all costs.

I give this company 5 stars.
by Leslie

I give this company 5 stars. From the first call with Jay, who was a very pleasant young man I spoke with several times, my questions and concerns were answered. As I was moving some valuable antiques from NY to NC, the move was stressful for me. Then, Giovanni arranged the move and couldn't have been nicer. The movers, MD Interstate, had two men who arrived a bit late but texted me about the traffic. I appreciated the update from David and Mauro. They were great at wrapping everything and being careful. I was told delivery would be the following week, which was fine with me. To my surprise, the next morning Jamie called, saying he was on his way to NC and would deliver that same day! I was pleased with the whole team and will use them again.

Misrepresentation is a deceiving tool
by Jenna

Misrepresentation is a deceiving tool the company uses to engage customers. They present themselves as if they handle the entire service, but in reality, they will deceive you about the actual cost and push you to sign the contract. On the day of execution, the contract changes, and Safe Ship takes advantage of this by giving you only three days to cancel while waiting for service. This is how they take your money. When the service day arrives, they claim they have no control over what the transporter wants, even though they sold you the complete contract. Dishonesty is the answer to their actions.

I rate them 3 stars because my interaction
by Tracie

I rate them 3 stars because my interaction was limited to obtaining a quote. Despite clearly expressing my uncertainty about moving, the representative's persistent follow-ups felt intrusive. Despite my consistent responses stating I wasn't relocating, they continued insisting on a move date. The pressure tactics and intrusive questioning about my reasons for not moving were off-putting. Additionally, negative reviews on the BBB website raise concerns about their customer service practices. I won't consider their services when I eventually decide to move.

In dealing with Safe Ship and their affiliated
by INT

In dealing with Safe Ship and their affiliated moving contractor, I incurred a significant expense of $8000 for relocating the belongings of my modest one-bedroom apartment. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by unfulfilled promises and blatant misinformation regarding the delivery schedule. To add to the dismay, the initially quoted amount of $3600 more than doubled during the course of the process. I strongly advise those who have faced similar deceptive practices to take the recourse of filing a complaint with the Department of Transportation.

Had a move planned with this supposedly
by Pete

Had a move planned with this supposedly "veteran friendly" company. Really disappointed with their customer service. I contacted them well in advance, explaining my medical situation and the need to cancel. They refused to refund any part of the down payment, which was a lot. They don't seem to care about veterans or seniors. I'd advise steering clear of them, especially if you want to actually speak to someone. Also, the moving company they arranged couldn't be reached, and there's hardly any information about them. Seems fishy to me.

Today was a pick up day of my stuff
by Edith

Today was a pick up day of my stuff from a 10x12 storage in NJ by David and Mauro from MD Moving Solutions LLC. My experience with them was great. I highly recommend David and Mauro. They wrapped all furniture carefully and loaded everything incl. lots of boxes on their truck. Both were friendly and assured me about my belongings. They communicated timing and charges well. I recommend this moving business to anyone. I'm excited about delivery, but I'm sure they'll exceed my expectations.

I hired this supposed "veteran friendly"
by Pete

I hired this supposed "veteran friendly" company for a move. Customer service was awful. I contacted them a month ahead due to a medical issue, but they wouldn't refund my hefty down payment, showing no consideration for veterans or seniors. Avoid them, especially if you expect decent communication. Also, the moving company they arranged seemed sketchy - impossible to contact or find any details about. Seems like a scam.

This company operates more as
by Zoe M

This company operates more as a middleman than an actual moving service. My relocation from Louisiana to New York was marred by issues. The assigned moving company, Just Pro Moving, mishandled my belongings, failed in paperwork completion, hindering insurance claims, and displayed careless packing resulting in breakages. Save your money – this company proves ineffective.

This is hands down the
by Andrea F

This is hands down the ultimate moving service in the game. Moving can really get your stress levels up, but when you've got the right crew like Safe Ship Moving Service, it's a game-changer. Nicole G., their customer rep, is an absolute star. She didn't just answer my questions; she walked me through the whole process, start to finish.

by Jessica

I worked with Safe Ship for connect to MD Interstate Moving team. David and his crew were professional, on time, friendly, and helpful. Moving's a stressful time, so having support of experts was great. David also walked me through my bill. I'll work with Safe Ship again, and recommend MD Interstate to friends or family.

by Denys Hudzevych

I strongly advise against engaging with this company. They reached out to me offering their services, but instead of being considerate, they imitated my speech. This behavior is completely unacceptable, especially considering my serious illness which makes communication difficult for me.

I teamed up with Leroy for our move
by Markus

I teamed up with Leroy for our move from Cali to North Carolina. He was a nice guy and gave us all the info we needed. But, we didn't go through with it 'cause my wife's job sorted everything. Still, Leroy was really good and his service was great!
