I had multiple interactions with Tim Walker via phone and email, and not once did he mention that this company is only a broker. I provided him with a detailed inventory of what needed to be moved. I even contacted him to add more items, and he gave me a revised quote. It was only when the movers finally showed up several days later that I realized Long Haul was just a broker, not an actual moving company. Tim's quote was way off, and I ended up having to shell out an additional $2680 for the move, when it should have cost me only $1437.52. To make matters worse, a guy named Joe Ryan was texting me while the movers were there, and I asked him to call me, but he couldn't be bothered. I called today to speak with a supervisor regarding the relocation specialist and got connected to someone named Jake Gomez. Jake seemed to be playing games and treating my situation as a joke. He never identified himself as a supervisor initially, and about five minutes into the call, he suddenly claimed to be one. Jake also asked me about sending an email, but to whom? When the senior relocation specialists can't be bothered to return my calls, and I'm treated poorly by a customer service rep on a power trip, what am I supposed to do? No one has had the decency to call me back, and I was never informed about any email. This whole experience has been a frustrating mess.

I engaged with this "company" for a move from Florida to South Carolina. Andy from the sales department arranged the move, and I paid $1485 as the "down payment." He then outlined the pickup and delivery payments. I provided my inventory for the move, and Andy stated I had 782 cubic feet to be moved. I called the company twice to confirm I wouldn't face additional charges, and they assured me I wouldn't as long as I didn't add items to my inventory. However, when the movers arrived, they claimed they could only move half of my belongings because I supposedly doubled my inventory. Strangely, nothing was added to my inventory sheet. The movers mentioned that Long Haul often pulls this move, but when I tried to reach the company, I could only speak to Bruce, who essentially shrugged off the situation. When I questioned the $1485, the movers informed me that Long Haul keeps it.

Moving was simple with this company!

Moving was simple with this company! The people on the phone were very good at their job! They answered all our questions and gave us a fair price. The movers arrived on time, were very friendly, and took care of our belongings. It felt like having helpful superheroes assist us. Definitely 5 stars – they made everything much easier! With this company, I won't stress about moving by myself again. I'll definitely use them again.

They did an okay job packing and moving my stuff. However, if you’re thinking of choosing them because of their lower prices, think again. They will likely bill you 2-3 times more than the initial quote without any warning. This can be a big problem when you’re on moving day and have little choice but to pay—particularly if you’re managing a move with a baby to look after!

From start to finish, we had a fantastic experience with Jamil, who helped us move. He was very helpful with all our questions, concerns, and needs. He made the whole process so easy and took a lot of stress off us. I would 10/10 reccomend if you need any help with moving!!!

We used Long Haul for a cross country move and had a great experience thanks to David. He was very helpful and responsive from start to finish, and any hiccup we ran into he made sure was handled. His top priority was ensuring we were taken care of and he 100% succeeded
