Not suitable for small businesses. Their
by Marco

Not suitable for small businesses. Their services may appeal to those with ample resources, but for newcomers or small enterprises, it's a regrettable choice. The sales, contract, and renewal processes feel exploitative, relying on missed deadlines and overselling. Account managers appear more as salespeople than genuine support. Attempts to discuss renewals or service reductions yielded unhelpful responses, with Ring Central unable to identify who authorized changes. Negotiation attempts led to frustration and a hung-up call. Reporting the issue to the account manager, Melvin R, resulted in a generic apology and no resolution. Beware of their practices and the lack of current Google reviews, suggesting ongoing issues.

My experience with this company has been horrendous
by Kim Sterling

My experience with this company has been horrendous. The sales representatives misled me into signing a 24-month contract under false pretenses, claiming I could cancel users or the entire account anytime. When I attempted to cancel, the support team provided no assistance, making the process deliberately convoluted. It's evident they employ deceptive tactics, and canceling the account is practically impossible. I strongly advise against signing any contracts without legal scrutiny. This company's practices are dishonest and unethical, leaving customers trapped in unfavorable agreements. Be cautious and steer clear of their deceptive tactics.

by Tom Hodges

Unbeknownst to me, they have a sneaky evergreen clause that extends your contract for two years without any warning. The recent app update rendered many useful features useless, making it frustrating to continue using their services. Despite wanting to switch to a superior provider, I find myself trapped in this unfavorable contract. RingCentral may profit in the short term through deceptive practices, but customer loyalty is severely lacking. I feel compelled to share my negative experiences to warn others against this shady company. Avoid at all costs!

I considered RC for my UCAAS platform
by Larry R

I considered RC for my UCAAS platform, but the SMS registration process proved overly complex. As a solo Executive Recruiter, my preference for SMS communication clashed with RC's cumbersome approval process. After six attempts, I faced rejection, citing the absence of a social media presence or a website. It seems RC caters exclusively to larger enterprises, disregarding the needs of individual professionals. Disappointed, I opted for an alternative provider more attuned to the requirements of solo practitioners like myself.

I am happy to share that I truly like
by Karen

I am happy to share that I truly like the variety of ways we can communicate using different devices like desk phones, iPads, computers, and cell phones. It's great that we can also make calls remotely. If I'm right, making remote calls on your cell phone doesn't use your cell plan minutes.

Good customer service. I'm quite happy with this company. 4 stars because we sometimes have glitches with customers not being able to hear us.
