About company

Red Pocket, an American-owned company established in 2006, emerged with a unique vision to revolutionize the wireless industry. They recognized the injustice of consumers overpaying for cell phone services, being tied to inflexible contracts, and feeling like mere numbers in the system. Red Pocket's approach prioritizes choice and flexibility. Customers can opt for service on any of the nation's top three networks and retain their existing number and phone or opt for new ones. Their standout feature is their exceptional customer service, where personalized care is the norm, and customers can easily connect with a live representative whenever needed. Red Pocket's commitment is to provide a more customer-centric wireless experience.

This review is about a great customer service rep,
by Jimena

This review is about a great customer service rep, Marcelo. He noticed past reps didn't jot down my issue, and took time to fix it. His attitude was excellent, kind, patient, into solving my problem. He truly went above and beyond. What could've been a horible experience that ended with me being furious and leaving negative reviews, has ended up with me being satisfied and feeling listened to and taken care of. WAY TO GO!

Red Pocket Mobile's service
by Sam

Red Pocket Mobile's service was okay, so I got three lines. But then, I realized the annual plan wasn't great because the data they gave was less than what we signed up for. I reached out to customer service, and they fixed it for the first month. But the same thing happened the next month, and they gave me the wrong renewal dates. They said it was renewed on the 13th when it was actually the 14th. On the 14th, I had 7+GB left, and after renewal on the 15th, I had 8GB. They said they loaded 7GB out of the 10GB I subscribed to. How did I get +1GB the next day? It doesn't add up. It feels fake, so I'm switching to a new service provider for all three lines. Sometimes, the service goes down, and you're left without any network, and they don't seem to care. They also enable autopay by default, and you have to chat or call to cancel it. I'm fed up with Red Pocket's service and moving on. Be cautious with this provider because of their bad practices. It's better to avoid them for peace of mind. After paying what they ask for, why settle for less? It feels like they're breaking their promises to all customers.

The eSIM install instructions
by Nel

The eSIM install instructions on the company's webpage omitted a crucial step, preventing me from successfully setting up the eSIM in my iPhone. When I reached out to "Support" for assistance, I received a response advising me to switch to a different browser instead of Safari, and then they abruptly ended the chat. In contrast, the email contained more comprehensive instructions and initiated the activation process, which unfortunately didn't work as expected. The activation process seemed to stall indefinitely. In a state of concern, I canceled the process and restarted it, fearing that my existing ATT eSIM would be overwritten. To my relief, the ATT number remained intact, but Red Pocket had changed its status to the primary number without consent. My intention was for the Red Pocket eSIM to be used for emergencies only, but this change raises concerns about potential issues it may cause. Only time will tell.

I am absolutely loving this company!
by Ingrid D

I am absolutely loving this company! The monthly price is super affordable and setting up my account was a total breeze. Plus, the best part is that I don't have to deal with any service interruptions - unlike when I was with Verizon and had to suffer through 2 whole weeks where my service would constantly drop. Talk about frustrating! But with this company, I can finally enjoy uninterrupted service.

The sound is crystal clear, the reception is strong, and the connectivity is seamless. I haven't experienced a single dropped call, which is pretty rare these days. I am so happy with my decision to choose this company. Thumbs up for their great quality and reliability!
