About 2-3 years ago, this
by Jon Luckau

About 2-3 years ago, this was a reputable website that I enjoyed using. However, it has now turned into a complete scam. The scam typically involves non-US sellers opening Shopify stores and listing products at inflated prices, such as $500 for lamps or earbuds. They promise a "rebate," making it appear as if you're getting a deal, but in reality, you're paying a much higher price for items worth far less. If any issues arise or if the seller decides to keep your money, you have no recourse. Additionally, they are now collecting personal information under the guise of needing your DOB for PayPal, which is also a scam. PayPal does not require such information, and if needed, they will request it directly.

it has turned into a complete scam
by Jaime

I used to trust this website 2-3 years ago, but it has turned into a complete scam. They employ a deceptive tactic where non-US sellers list products like lamps or earbuds for $500, then offer a rebate of $465 to make it seem like a deal. In reality, you pay $35 for $5 earbuds. If issues arise, you have no recourse. They're also collecting personal information under false claims. This is a scam – PayPal doesn't need your DOB. If they do, they'll ask for it directly. Avoid this site.

Seems like they've stopped pretending
by Anonymous

Seems like they've stopped pretending to be a real company. Been waiting for my payment since the 15th, but the date keeps changing, and I haven't received anything in my Paypal. They owe me more than $800 in rebates. Also, they're ignoring requests for help with shady sellers. They used to be decent, now they're just scammers. We should think about a class-action lawsuit.

I've been using them
by Kit

I've been using them for several years, and they claim to have sent rebates via PayPal. However, there's no money in my account. I've contacted them twice – the first time, there was no reply. The second time, they simply said, "we sent it," without making any effort to verify the details. Now, they seem to be withholding payouts.

This company's rebate process takes way
by Hew Bb

This company's rebate process takes way too long, like 35 days long. The products they offer aren't good at all, just junk. Also, sellers can argue that you didn't receive your order. Plus, verifying your address requires giving out your cell number and address.

I've been using their service for years
by Gabbi

I've been using their service for years and I've always received my rebates on time deposited directly into my PayPal account without making a request. They used to have a better selection, but I still find cool things on there.

If ya need to get in touch, it's gotta be email,

If ya need to get in touch, it's gotta be email, they don't answer anything else for some reason. Apart from that, got lotsa good stuff and saved loads of money.

RebateKey has stopped sending out rebates.
by Mariana

RebateKey has stopped sending out rebates. They aren't answering customer service emails, and their phone line isn't working. I'm lodging a complaint with BBB.
