So, back in April 2004, I noticed this sweet Eid sale on Melodica Music Store’s social media. I was super excited and ordered a guitar that said there were 2 in stock. About a week later, I got an email saying the guitar I paid for was damaged and they couldn't sell it to me. I asked for pictures of the damage to see if it was something I could live with, but got no reply. Instead, they kept saying they were looking for an alternative, which turned out to be more expensive. Felt like they were trying to upsell me after messing up my order. I asked for a refund, and they refused to give it back the way I paid for it. They wanted my bank details to process the refund. I gave them the info and asked when I'd get my money back. They said it would take 7-14 working days. I found it hard to believe that any company in this day and age would take that long for a transfer. Five days later, I followed up to see if the transfer had been initiated, and they gave me the same 7-14 days answer. This was quite a shock because Melodica Music Store used to be a reliable place to shop from years ago. Not sure what went wrong, but this experience was incredibly disappointing. I don’t think I’ll be buying anything from them again.

Melodica Guitar Lessons: A Total Rip-Off

Man, I've been doing guitar lessons at Melodica for over 2 years, and it's been a rollercoaster. In that time, I've had SIX different teachers. They keep quitting, and I didn't get why until one of them let it slip that the management treats them horribly. Always had a hunch something was off, but kept going because it was close to home. Finally decided to stop after 2 years, mainly because of the constant staff changes. It's been a nightmare. My latest "guitar teacher" doesn't even play guitar! He just puts on YouTube videos and keeps stepping out to take calls. Plus, the room reeks of smoke, just like him, making the whole experience even worse. Haven't made any real progress, which isn't surprising given the lack of actual teaching. And don't even get me started on the prices—they're outrageous. Instruments and gear are marked up by 50% over retail. The management is a joke, and it's clear the teachers aren't treated well since they keep leaving. Bottom line: avoid Melodica at all costs. It's a scam. They don't care about your lessons, just your money.

I'll renew when it's needed, or just tell me ahead of time about upcoming offers. The staff are very strict with their rules, and there’s no way to get in touch with the so-called management. As a parent, you agree to deal with complicated rules and regulations about changing classes or missed lessons. It is TIRESOME following their rules as you quickly realize they don’t make sense and are only meant to benefit them. There’s no notice when the teacher changes, and since you have to buy a package with them, there’s no other option!

Class Disappeared, No Help Given!

I paid up front for my kids' class, thinking it would be all set. But when we showed up, the class was gone, taken by someone else by mistake. Can you believe it? The staff just shrugged and said, "Sorry." No solutions, no help, nothing. Just a big waste of time and money. Management was rude and so unprofessional. Don't trust them with your plans.
